Chapter 331 Drifting to the Sea

Chapter 331 Drifting to the Sea

In the following days, Yang Qing and Leng Yi stayed in the space and did not go out.

I don’t know what’s going on outside, so I don’t dare go out. I’m afraid that the plate collision hasn’t been completed yet, and going out would mean death.

It would be better to stay in the space and wait for the disaster to pass before going out.

The two of them planted flowers in the space, walked the dog, fed the chickens and ducks, and lived a very leisurely life.

That day, the two of them surrounded the meteorite they had collected from the military base. They looked at it but couldn't make out anything special. They wondered if it had any power.

Yang Qing placed his hand on the meteorite, controlling the spiritual energy of the space to touch it, and faintly felt a flow of energy inside the meteorite.

But I don’t know what it’s for and I can’t get it out.

Yang Qing pricked Leng Yi's finger to draw a little blood and placed it on the meteorite, but the meteorite did not move at all.

Leng Yi laughed, "If it were that easy, there would be many supermen in the world."

Yang Qing nodded. What he said was true. Over the thousands of years of human history, countless meteorites had fallen from the sky. If energy could be obtained so easily, there must be countless extraordinary people in the world.

"The energy in here cannot be extracted without high technology. If you want to have superpowers, it would be faster to use Dr. Zhang's injection directly." Leng Yi said.

Yang Qing shook his head. "That's too dangerous. If a mutation occurs, it's beyond our control. Let's just forget it. Anyway, I have space, and you're so powerful. Don't think about anything else."

Yang Qing put the meteorite into the warehouse and paid attention to the movements outside.

I haven't been out for half a month, so I don't know what the situation is like outside.

"Listen, why does it sound like water?" Yang Qing asked.

"It seems like there is the sound of waves." Leng Yi frowned.

"No way! We were in the desert before. Even if the earthquake was big, it wouldn't shake us into the sea, right? The desert is a million miles away from the ocean."

"That's hard to say. When the catastrophe happened, the plates moved and the sea water almost submerged the entire land. It's not surprising that it washed into the desert..."

Things that were impossible in the past are now possible in the last days.

Moreover, China is in the Northern Hemisphere. The land area of the entire hemisphere only accounts for 40%, and the ocean area accounts for 60%. If the land collapses, the ocean may flood the entire Northern Hemisphere.

"How about we go out and take a look?"

"Okay!" Leng Yi nodded.

The two entered the escape pod and escaped from the space.

As soon as I came out of the space, I found that the escape pod was floating on the sea. The sea was calm and the water was only slightly undulating. The escape pod was gently swaying on the sea, giving me the feeling of sitting on a small boat.

The sun was high in the sky, and the sky was clear, not looking like the end of the world at all.

Yang Qing was delighted and entered the space first. Then he took out the yacht and appeared on the sea again, bringing the two dogs out with him.

After being stuck in the space for too long, the two dogs ran around on the deck excitedly when they smelled the fresh air and saw the blue sky.

"Where is this?" Yang Qing looked around. It was an endless ocean with nothing but sea water. There was no way to tell the direction.

"Let me see!" Leng Yi took out a compass, "This is heading south..."

He took out another theodolite and a strange look appeared on his face.

"What's wrong?" Yang Qing asked.

"We are now drifting towards the southern hemisphere, and are almost reaching Dongdi Island." Leng Yi said.

East Timor is the only Asian country located entirely in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a very young country with unstable political situation and many Chinese people.

"Do you think they will also encounter the end of the world?" Yang Qing asked.

"It should be. This apocalyptic crisis is global, but the damage in different places is different. The Southern Hemisphere might not have had the meteor shower last time, so the damage would be better than ours."

"Then can we go? We can't drift on the sea forever, right?" Yang Qing said.

"Should be possible?" Leng Yi wasn't entirely sure. "With global disasters and plate movements, there shouldn't be any borders between countries anymore. It's just that we've never been abroad, so we don't really know. Perhaps this Dongdi Island is no longer the original one, and may have been occupied by someone else."

"That's true." Yang Qing nodded.

"Let's just go with the flow and see where it takes us." Leng Yi smiled. "It's a good opportunity to spend a few days at sea. We have a yacht, so we can just treat it as a trip."

"Okay!" Yang Qing smiled.

I also have a cruise ship, but it's not necessary for two people. The cruise ship consumes a lot of fuel, and two people is too wasteful.

Yang Qing took out a parasol from the space and placed it on the deck, along with two lounge chairs and a small table.

Take out a watermelon, two cups of ice, pour in a drink, put on sunglasses, lie on a lounge chair, drink the drink leisurely, it really feels like you are on vacation.

"How about we go fishing?" Leng Yi suddenly said.

The fishing rod I exchanged for at the military base can come in handy.

"Okay!" Yang Qing smiled, took out the fishing rod, used a small fish as bait, put on sun protection clothes, sat by the railing, and threw down the fishing rod.

Anyway, they don't really want to catch anything. There are so many fish in their space that they can't eat them all. They just think it's fun.

Unexpectedly, not long after, the fishing rod began to vibrate and the fishing line showed obvious signs of dragging.

"There's a fish!" Yang Qing was surprised and quickly pulled the rod.

Unexpectedly, he couldn't even pull it. "It's a big fish, come and help me."

"I'll do it!" Leng Yi hurried over and quickly reeled in the rod. He felt something heavy underneath. The fish weighed at least ten pounds.

After all the fishing lines were reeled in, the rod was swung upwards, and the fish fell on the deck and jumped up with a plop. Aqi and Xiaoxue rushed over, held the fish and wanted to bite it.

"Don't move!" Leng Yi shouted, "There seems to be something wrong with this fish."

Yang Qing took a closer look and found that the fish looked like the commonly eaten sea bass, but it was half a meter long and had sharp teeth, which looked very creepy.

"This fish seems to have mutated. It can't be eaten, right?" Yang Qing said.

"It does look different from normal ones. It's too big, and its teeth are sharp and pointed. It must be a mutation." Leng Yi nodded.

Just like those giant marine creatures we saw on the seabed before, they have all mutated and may have viruses. I'm afraid they can't be eaten.

"What do you think would happen if someone ate this? Would they mutate?" Yang Qing said.

"It's hard to say, but I think there will be some impact. Not to mention mutation, it will definitely not be good for the body." Leng Yi shook his head, picked up the fish and threw it back into the sea.

Yang Qing suddenly lost interest in fishing. What’s the point of catching fish if they can’t be eaten?

It would be better to take out the fish in your own space and eat it.

"How about we have a barbecue?" Yang Qing said.

"Great, I haven't had barbecue for a long time. Barbecue on the sea has a unique flavor." Leng Yi said with a smile.

Yang Qing took out the barbecue grill from the space, as well as sea fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters, etc.

Leng Yi helped to light the charcoal, while Yang Qing chopped the garlic and added some chili peppers to make it taste better.

The oven was lit and the seafood was put in. Soon, the aroma wafted out, and Yang Qing's mouth was almost watering.
