"Sweet!"
Xiao Yu rushed in immediately, but before she could even shout, a pair of soft hands covered her mouth.
"Shh, keep your voices down."
Sun Tiantian put a finger to her lips to make a shushing gesture, and gently rocked the pink floral swaddle in her other hand.
Xiao Yu stared in shock, her eyes widening, and nervously turned to look at Lu Sheng.
The scene was completely different from what Lu Sheng and the others had imagined.
Sun Tiantian and Han Rui stood safely and unharmed in front of them, showing no signs of being threatened or coerced.
Besides the two of them, there were also Xin Qiao and several other young female officers from the K3 base in the room.
But the rest of the people seemed to ignore Lu Sheng and the others' arrival, and just sat sideways in the corner, each holding something in their arms.
"The child had just fallen asleep and you almost woke him up."
Han Rui hugged the small blue plaid blanket in her arms tightly and gestured in a low voice.
"Are you crazy? With a door slammed like that, what child wouldn't wake up?" Zhang Xiaojuan looked at the girls in the room in astonishment and said in surprise.
Including Xin Qiao, Sun Tiantian, and Han Rui, all the women in the room were holding a brightly colored swaddled baby, their faces radiating maternal glow.
Han Rui and Sun Tiantian's youthful faces paired with their loving smiles created an inexplicably strange scene.
Like a child who secretly wears their mother's clothes, there's an uncomfortable sense of incongruity.
"Sweetie, where did the baby you're holding come from?"
Xiao Yu grabbed Sun Tiantian's wrist and reached out to pry open the swaddling clothes in her arms, but Sun Tiantian dodged to the side.
Sun Tiantian glared at Xiao Yu reproachfully, carefully tightening her arms, and said matter-of-factly, "Of course it was just delivered. Be gentle, the baby's skin is so delicate, don't hurt it."
Lu Sheng and the others exchanged glances, a sense of unease rising in their hearts.
Sun Tiantian and the others had just been helping Xin Qiao deal with the zombie fetuses, but now they were each carefully holding a child in their arms...

Xiao Yu was frantic. She rushed to Sun Tiantian's side and ripped open the swaddling clothes.
Wrapped in a small floral quilt was a wrinkled, bluish-gray child who looked up at Lu Sheng with a strange smile.
His already ugly features were distorted even more by this smile, and the exaggeratedly upturned corners of his mouth blatantly carried a hint of provocation.
This ugly little thing is mocking them!
"Damn it, has it been possessed by these filthy things?"
Zhang Xiaojuan cursed under her breath, and the earthen dragon flew out of her hand, instantly wrapping around Sun Tiantian and Han Rui's bodies.
To Lu Sheng and the others' surprise, the two, who were usually carefree, suddenly moved nimbly to avoid Zhang Xiaojuan's earth dragon.
The next second, a biting blizzard, mixed with sharp ice spikes, shot towards the location where Lu Sheng and the others were.

"You're not allowed to say it's ugly!"
These words were like a bomb, instantly detonating everyone in the room.
Xinqiao and the other female officers, who had been huddled in a corner trying to soothe their child, suddenly stood up and joined the fray with annoyed expressions.
In an instant, various superpowers bombarded Lu Sheng and his companions, and the large room was quickly turned into a mess by accidental attacks, resembling a scene from World War II.
Sun Tiantian and Han Rui were the most ruthless, each move aimed at killing someone.
To avoid harming their own people, Lu Sheng and the others had no choice but to temporarily adopt a roundabout tactic and passively evade attacks.
Thanks to Xu Yi's spatial blockade and light shield, the group managed to escape unscathed from the barrage of supernatural attacks.
"What should we do? Hiding like this isn't going to work." Zhang Xiaojuan summoned a group of mud figures to hug Sun Tiantian and the others' legs, which finally managed to hold them off for the time being.
The situation has suddenly become tricky.
Sun Tiantian and Han Rui were like hostages controlled by the zombie demons. As long as these two human shields were in front of them, Lu Sheng and the others couldn't do anything about these little brats for the time being.
