Lu Sheng's expression shifted slightly as he put down the half-eaten cup of noodles in his hand. "Xiao Yu, would you like to eat mushrooms for dinner?"
“I don’t like mushrooms. I didn’t eat any for dinner, just a couple of bites of rice.” Xiao Yu shook her head vigorously, her face full of aversion to mushrooms. “I always feel that all mushrooms have an earthy smell, and they make me feel nauseous.”
Lu Sheng: "..."
Oh no, Xiao Yu is gradually becoming like Juan.

The banquet hall door was open. Passing through the spacious hall, the kitchen, where food was prepared, was located at the far end. Luo Yuxuan hugged the wall and tiptoed quickly inside.
She had just stepped inside when the overhead light flickered twice. In the blur, she vaguely saw a tall figure swaying in front of her.
Luo Yuxuan was startled, and the hairs on the back of her head stood on end instantly.
She instinctively took two steps back, and just as she was about to leave, the kitchen lights suddenly blazed on.
The sudden bright lights made Luo Yuxuan unable to open her eyes.
After her eyes adjusted to the light, the sudden scene before her made Luo Yuxuan's heart skip a beat.
Inside the kitchen, a tall man was washing something at the sink; Luo Yuxuan could only see his back.
His uniform was clearly distinguishable, identifying him as a member of another small base attending the alliance meeting. From Luo Yuxuan's angle, he couldn't see his face clearly, only that the man's sleeves were half-rolled up, revealing some faint bulges resembling lipomas on the exposed half of his arm.
