Crunch, crunch.
The chilling sound of chewing echoed through the living room.
Accompanied by the crunching sound of bones being chewed, Hu Tingting's true form slowly emerged from the half-open door.
She resembled a giant sponge soaked in blood, or a swollen, bleeding maggot. Her skin was covered with a thick layer of bloody, viscous substance, and her limbs were swollen and limp as if they had been filled with water.
A gaping maw, its features unrecognizable, was frantically devouring Qin Xiaoyue's corpse.
"Mom, is my little brother here?"
With Qin Xiaoyue's arm in her mouth, Hu Tingting suddenly leaned down and pressed her sticky head against Qin Xiaoyue's bulging belly.
Her voice sounded like that of an eight or nine-year-old, crisp and childlike. But because her throat was blocked by a red, viscous substance, her voice sounded like it was coming from underwater, accompanied by a gurgling sound.
The thick, childlike voice was both eerie and terrifying; it even woke up the three little ones from the Lingfeng Base who were fast asleep in the next room.

The three people, still half asleep, crawled out of the room and were immediately terrified by the scene before them, turning pale with fright.
The chubby boy immediately raised his gun and fired at Hu Tingting.
When the bullets came into contact with the viscous surface of Hu Tingting's body, the impact was slowed down as if it were sinking into quagmire, and finally it sank into her skin.
"Damn it, the gun's broken."
The chubby boy from Lingfeng Base cried out in alarm, then caught sight of Lu Sheng and Xu Yi not far behind him.
"Run!" The chubby boy was sweating profusely and frantically waved to Lu Sheng and Xu Yi, signaling them to leave quickly.
"Mommy's belly is so big now, has my little brother grown up too?" Hu Tingting rubbed her sticky head against Qin Xiaoyue's belly and suddenly giggled.
Hu Qiang finally snapped out of his daze of fear, his face, which had been deathly pale, now contorted with rage. "You beast! You beast! I should have killed you back then!"
"I don't even know what my younger brother looks like yet."
Hu Tingting completely ignored Hu Qiang's anger, chuckling as she muttered to herself, "Then let's dig it up and see!"
Before she could finish speaking, Hu Tingting's deformed arm was already on Qin Xiaoyue's stomach, and she forcefully tore open the bulging belly!
The rotten, deformed fingers stirred around inside Hu Tingting's bloody, mangled stomach for a couple of moments, finally pulling out an embryo the size of an egg.
"Dad! Look how small my little brother is! I could crush him with just two fingers!"
Hu Tingting looked at Hu Qiang defiantly, as if deliberately trying to provoke him, and waved the bloody embryo in front of him, "Didn't Daddy like the little brother?"
"brute!!!"
Hu Qiang completely lost his mind, rushed into the kitchen, grabbed a sharp cleaver, and frantically slashed at Hu Tingting's wet and sticky body!
But Hu Tingting's body was as slippery as an eel; Hu Qiang's cleaver couldn't even leave a scratch on it!
"Dad likes my little brother but not me, so if I eat my little brother, will Dad like me back?!"
Hu Tingting's childish voice suddenly turned ferocious and terrifying. She deliberately waved the embryo in front of Hu Qiang, then threw it into her mouth.
"I'll kill you! You monster!"
Hu Qiang's eyes were bloodshot as he fought desperately against the blood-red monster.
The next second, his head was bitten off by Hu Tingting's gaping maw.
"It's so good that my mom, dad, and brother are with me forever. Our family will stay together forever."
After eating with three people, Hu Tingting's body was noticeably two sizes larger than when Lu Sheng first saw her. Three lumps suddenly appeared on her smooth shoulders.
Two of them were about the size of a fist, while the other was significantly smaller, about the size of a one-yuan coin.
Although the three people from Lingfeng Base were afraid, they still forced themselves to come to Lu Sheng and Xu Yi's side and comforted them tremblingly, "You...you can rest assured, our Allied Army will protect civilians."
"With us here, you guys run first and go find Captain Zhao from Lingfeng Base to come and support us!"
