Xu Yi quickly packed up all the important documents and medicines in the laboratory. Wu Fan sat in the chair with a cold expression, watching Xu Yi take the bottles and jars away without saying a word.
"Please, please pay attention!" Zhang Xiaojuan said anxiously, scratching her head.
The love story between the mute groom and the straight-laced woman hasn't had any new episodes in a long time, and the audience is getting restless. Why doesn't the male lead seem to have any sense of crisis?
Only after the two of them left the CM company building with the rest of the group did Xu Yi speak casually, "Have you ever owned a cat?"

Before he could finish speaking, Han Rui lightly tapped him twice on the head with her small fist. "You're doomed for secretly talking bad about Sister Lu!"
"You don't know anything! This is a matter of respect for Sister Lu!"
The two troubled children bickered all the way. The group first put Jiang Shuguang on the plane and handed him over to Su Zheng and Zhao Mujia to take back to M City for treatment.
The rest of the people stayed behind to continue searching for traces of the island monster.
"Can this guy be trusted?" Sun Tiantian wrapped her arms around Lu Sheng's, looking at Xiao Ning with some distrust.
Xiao Ning had his hands in his pockets, looking completely relaxed.
Noticing that everyone's eyes were on him, he adjusted the leather collar around his neck, raising his eyebrows slightly in a hint of provocation.
"He's hardened, his fists are hardened." Zhang Xiaojuan gritted her teeth in anger. "This guy's blatant provocation!"
"Kill them if they disobey." Lu Sheng walked calmly at the front of the group, giving Sun Tiantian a reassuring look.

The group followed Xiao Ning through several dilapidated alleyways, finally stopping at the entrance of a dark and cramped alley.

After a few words were exchanged, Xiao Ning took the lead and walked into the alley with a lantern.
The alley was gloomy, with damp, decaying walls covered in scratches of varying depths. Splattered bloodstains ran from the brick walls on both sides down to the ground, creating an extremely oppressive atmosphere throughout the alley.
Zhang Xiaojuan threw out a group of small clay figures to scout ahead of Xiao Ning, and the group proceeded cautiously in a single file.
When we reached the middle of the alley, a faint, hoarse growl suddenly came from inside.
Everyone immediately stopped in their tracks and listened intently.
"It doesn't sound like a human could make that sound." Sun Tiantian frowned.
Shi Nian, her face round and chubby, hid shyly behind Lu Sheng. "It's the sound of zombies crying for help."
Everyone: "???"
"Zombies can also call for help?" Xiao Yu was completely bewildered.
If even a monstrous force like zombies needs help, could there be something even more terrifying in the alley?
But given Shi Nian's half-zombie physique and his psychic abilities, it seems reasonable that he could understand the cries for help from zombies.
With many questions in mind, Lu Sheng and the others quickened their pace silently.
A few minutes later, the group finally reached the end of the alley.
Deep in the damp, dark alley, a dozen mangled zombie remains were piled up into a small mountain. Rotting entrails and fat mingled together, emitting a nauseating stench.
A hunched figure was kneeling beside the mountain of corpses, grabbing a clump of entrails with his charred and withered hands and stuffing it whole into his mouth.
Clearly, these corpses were his food.
"It has a tag hanging on its wrist?" Zhang Xiaojuan noticed the foreign object on its wrist immediately. "It looks like a locker number tag from a famous bathhouse in T City."
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone's eyes turned to him.
"..."
"Life is quite fulfilling." Xiao Ning's lips curled up.
Zhang Xiaojuan paused awkwardly for a second, then hurriedly explained, "It's a proper bath! The bathhouse attendant is over fifty! It's completely organic!"
As he was explaining, the dark figure in front of him, who was focused on gnawing, suddenly stopped.
The charred black zombie with the bracelet suddenly turned its head, revealing a fierce glint in its dark eye sockets!
"Aww!"
The bracelet-wielding zombie, not far away, dropped the sticky entrails it was holding, sprang to its feet, and charged towards the group.
"So powerful."
Xiao Yu immediately opened a water shield and released two water dragons that wrapped around the zombie's two thighs.
This emaciated zombie was agile and nimble, with skin as hard as metal all over its body, and its combat power was significantly higher than that of ordinary zombies.
In no time, the creature broke free from Xiao Yu's water dragon restraints and pounced on Lu Sheng like a vicious dog.
