The young man's back view showed him to be about 1.78 meters tall, wearing an Allied uniform with his hat pulled low, obscuring most of his face.
He sneaked up to the vending machine and frantically pressed a few buttons on it.
Lu Sheng was suspicious, so he silently appeared behind him after becoming invisible.
This person wasn't wearing glasses, but must be severely nearsighted, having to bend over and squint at the vending machine to see the words clearly.
He spent a long time poking around on the machine, specifically choosing instant noodles, self-heating rice, and canned goods—fast foods that keep well. His movements were a bit clumsy, and Lu Sheng, watching from behind, was getting anxious for him.
After finally getting to the payment page, the man was visibly startled when the scanning light suddenly lit up. He shakily pulled out a handful of crystal cores from his pocket and tried to stuff them into any slot on the machine that looked like a coin slot.
"What are you doing."
Lu Sheng couldn't wait any longer for this idiot, so he simply patted him on the shoulder from behind.
The man was startled and turned around abruptly to look behind him.
Seeing that Lu Sheng wasn't wearing a uniform and was a young, slender girl, the expression on his face relaxed instantly.
"If you're in a hurry, you can go first."
He spoke slightly awkward Mandarin, with a faint, indistinct accent. He immediately stepped aside to make room, eagerly anticipating how Lu Sheng would operate the machine.
Lu Sheng glanced at him out of the corner of her eye and smiled slightly. "Judging from your accent, you're not a local. Where are you from?"
The man paused for a second, then gave an awkward laugh. "I...I'm from Xinjiang...so I have a bit of an accent, but I've improved it a lot recently."
"Oh, I've always heard you guys talk about fried noodles with onions, but I've never tried it before. What exactly are onions?"
man:"……"
After a brief brainstorming session, the man forced a smile and said, "It should be the bean sprouts you eat."
Before he could finish speaking, Lu Sheng turned around and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying like a sack of dough.
Zhang Xiaojuan, who was passing by, was dumbfounded. "Sister Lu, we're all family, let's talk things out. Don't resort to violence."
Lu Sheng stood on the steps, glancing down at the young man who was grimacing and sprawled in the flower bed. "He claims to be from Xinjiang and says that onions are bean sprouts."
"Then you didn't hit me hard enough." Without saying a word, Zhang Xiaojuan jumped over and delivered two more punches.
The man cried out in pain as he was being beaten, "Isn't it normal to put bean sprouts in fried noodles? Why did you have to hit me?"
“Onion sprouts are called ‘pi ya zi’! Bean sprouts are called ‘dou ma ge na zi’!” Zhang Xiaojuan added, looking up at Lu Sheng, “He probably knew his accent wouldn’t work, so he said he was from Xinjiang.”
Lu Sheng thought for a moment, then took out a small pink spray bottle from his pocket and sprayed it twice at the fake Xinjiang man.
"Disinfect before killing?" Zhang Xiaojuan's mouth formed an "O" shape.
Before he could finish speaking, the humanoid creature lying paralyzed in the flower bed suddenly transformed into a pink and white piglet with thin skin and tender flesh, looking very delicious.
The little pig was stunned for a few seconds, then looked down and immediately let out a terrified "ooh ooh" sound before running wildly toward the entrance to the safe zone.
Unfortunately, it had only run two meters when Zhang Xiaojuan, who had been a professional pig catcher since childhood, jumped on its back, grabbed its ears, and dragged it back.
"Sister Lu! What new technology do you have now? It's amazing!"
Zhang Xiaojuan fiddled with the piglets under her crotch, staring curiously at the spray in Lu Sheng's hand. "This stuff can't be known by those dogs outside, otherwise they'll turn into one when they're short of food. That's pretty beastly."
"But after the pig is slaughtered, is it considered human flesh or pork?"
As Zhang Xiaojuan was speaking, she suddenly felt a warm sensation in her calf.
Looking down, I realized the piglet had wet itself in fear, trembling and its eyes were rolling back.
"The spray has a limited duration, only three minutes." Lu Sheng handed the pink spray bottle to Zhang Xiaojuan.
As soon as she finished speaking, the little piglet that Zhang Xiaojuan was riding suddenly transformed into the size of an adult.
The two people's posture was somewhat ambiguous, and it looked rather disharmonious.
Zhang Xiaojuan: "..."
A surprised gasp drifted over from the opposite sidewalk.
"Holy crap, they're playing this fancy game in broad daylight."
"There were two men there."
"Stop looking. My grandma lived to 98 because she didn't meddle in other people's business."
"It's the end of the world, so let people do whatever they want. Respect and blessings."
Zhang Xiaojuan jumped off the fake Xinjiang man as if she had been electrocuted, and sprayed him wildly with a spray bottle, yelling, "You might as well be a pig!"
The walk from the vending machine on the street to the Allied Army office building was only a few hundred meters. Zhang Xiaojuan carried the pig the whole way and strode along. Every time the fake Xinjiang man turned into human form and tried to speak, he immediately sprayed him twice.
"Wow, are we having live pig today? I want Brother Zhang's sauerkraut and blood sausage stew with pork belly!"
Upon entering, Zhao Mujia stared at the pink and white piglet, drooling, and even gave the piglet's round bottom a playful shake with his wicked hand.
"Holy crap!" Zhang Xiaojuan reacted instinctively and immediately threw the pig into Zhao Mujia's arms.
After waiting for a minute without seeing the familiar warm water flow from Zhao Mujia's arms, Zhang Xiaojuan was furious and punched the pig twice. "Fine, so you just choose to pee on me, huh?"
"What's wrong with this pig?" Zhao Mujia was having a great time playing with the pig's ears.
"Someone from outside somehow managed to sneak into the base. They won't be able to use the vending machine and be discovered by Sister Lu."
Several people tied up the pig and called Su Zheng and others to gather in the conference room.
After two minutes of interrogation, the fake Xinjiang man confessed everything without any struggle.
