"What could possibly happen to a grown woman like me?" Lu Sheng paused for a moment, then slowly raised her hand to pat Sun Tiantian's head. She was busy shopping and hadn't noticed her phone was ringing off the hook.
It feels so good to be cared for and remembered.
Humans are social animals that live in groups. Even in the most extreme and apocalyptic world, they will still stick together to survive.
Sun Tiantian lightly punched Lu Sheng on the shoulder, "What have you been doing for so long?"
Lu Sheng took off his wet clothes and went into the bathroom. He poured a whole bottle of concentrated insecticide down the drain and then replaced the drain with a sealed one.

Lu Sheng lay in bed, turning his head to look out the window. The rain showed no signs of letting up, and the piercing honking of horns echoed through the streets. The road closures caused by the heavy rain had already triggered numerous chain-reaction accidents.
A tree as thick as a person at the school gate was struck by lightning and split in two, blocking the main road leading into the school.
After listening for a while, Lu Sheng was finally hypnotized by the sound of rain hitting the glass.
Pat-pat.
A series of rapid, strange sounds suddenly exploded on Lu Sheng's scalp.
