Chapter 56 Back from the City

After listening to the system, Shen Xingtang encouraged his teammates to chase forward.

Shen Xingtang's three teammates didn't ask right or wrong, nor did they ask the reason, and followed Shen Xingtang and ran forward.

They stared at the red dot on Shen Xingtang's mobile phone interface and chased after it relentlessly.

"She's quite a fast runner." The man next to Shen Xingtang saw the red dot, frowned and muttered.

Shen Xingtang: "She can't run away for much longer."

As soon as he finished speaking, the red dot suddenly stopped and kept flashing in the same place.

Shen Xingtang's eyes lit up: "She can't run anymore. She's right in front of us. Four hundred meters away. Hurry and catch up!"

Shen Xingtang and the other three quickened their pace and ran towards the red dot.

"Wait! Xingtang, look, she's moving again!" Shen Xingtang's teammates stared at the screen of their mobile phones and found that the red dot was moving forward.

Shen Xingtang didn't even look at her, he just kept running forward: "Let her hold on, run for a while and rest for a while, how much more can she run..."

"No! Xingtang, we can't catch up!" The teammate grabbed Shen Xingtang's arm and motioned her to look at the phone screen.

I saw that the red dot, which was originally moving forward slowly at a walking speed, suddenly accelerated and rushed forward. In a short while, it ran a long distance and it was impossible to catch up.

This is definitely not a walking pace.

Shen Xingtang reacted instantly, his face turned grim: "She has a car."

Shen Xingtang's teammate said: "Our car is still in the east of the city and hasn't come here yet."

Shen Xingtang had no choice but to give up.

"Xingtang, why are you chasing her?" Shen Xingtang's teammate asked.

Shen Xingtang hid his displeasure and put on a worried look: "I received news from the Glorious Army that this woman burned down our future base. I want to ask her why she did this."

"What? The base is burned down?" The teammates were very surprised.

Shen Xingtang nodded and lowered his eyes in disappointment: "We are all civilians, why should we embarrass each other?"

"Xingtang, don't be sad." Shen Xingtang's teammates all had a high degree of favorability towards her. No one questioned the truth of these words, and they began to comfort Shen Xingtang, "If the base is gone, we can just find a new place to build it. Gongzhou is already much cooler than outside, and there are many suitable places."

Shen Xingtang gave his teammates a perfect smile: "Yeah, okay."

At the gate of the Public Security Bureau, the First Base Self-Defense Forces hunted down several escaped rebels and escorted the captives into the Public Security Bureau for detention.

Zhao Xian led his men back, but instead of going into the Public Security Bureau together, they walked towards the police car on the side of the road.

One of his soldiers followed behind him, grinning: "Captain, these bastards have a lot of stuff today. We seized several Type 9 pistols! They all look new and useful, and there are a lot of bullets."

Zhao Xian hummed: "The mountain cat is locating their nest."

His subordinate Ren Wangwang chattered excitedly: "We are sure we can find some good stuff! It would be great if there was food - we are really short of food. In this horrible weather, there is no grass to eat!"

Zhao Xian stopped in front of the police car.

His face darkened slightly. Although he hadn't entered yet, he could feel that the person inside was gone.

She left again.

Not even a greeting.

The gun he gave out urgently before was probably like a toss of meat at a dog, and it would never come back.

"It's slipping away so quickly." Zhao Xian glanced at the driver's seat, turned around and was about to leave.

Ren Wangwang was a little confused: "Captain, you don't need the car anymore?"

If you don't need the car, why stand in front of it for so long?

Zhao Xian was walking into the Public Security Bureau when his eyes suddenly paused and he looked back. He saw a series of footprints on the road.

Ren Wangwang also saw it and immediately realized that something was wrong.

They all came from the Mountain Leopard Special Operations Force, and reconnaissance was a compulsory course for them.

The footprints there were wrong. They were not the footprints of the rebels, nor were they the footprints of their own people.

Although not conspicuous in the chaotic battlefield, the traces, direction, size and spacing of the footprints were enough to judge that four people had passed by the scene when they were hunting down the rebels.

This group of people must be together, and there are two men and two women, all very young.

Zhao Xian narrowed his eyes: "There are rats entering the city."

"Then we have to notify the brothers to catch the mice."

Ren Wangwang was not surprised, as he could judge all of this at a glance, and his captain would only be able to judge more information than him.

Zhao Xian turned around and walked towards the police car again. He opened the driver's door first and looked at the seat where Qiao Xuejun had sat before, but there was nothing there.

Ren Wangwang asked curiously: "Captain, what are you looking for?"

His captain was acting strange just now, standing in front of the car but not using it. Now it's even weirder, I don't know what he's looking for.

Zhao Xian closed the driver's door and opened the rear door.

This was where he had been squatting before.

"What the hell." Ren Wangwang looked into the car, his eyes focused on the ground. "Why is there food? What is that? Two potatoes? Chocolate."

Zhao Xian put the gun back into his waist pocket and leaned over to pick up the things on the ground.

Two big, yellow, plump potatoes, cooked, and a few Snickers bars in red packaging.

Zhao Xian curled the corners of his mouth.

It's not really like throwing meat buns at a dog, it can barely be considered as a courtesy.

·

Qiao Xuejun rode a motorcycle home.

She had hidden the motorcycle in the alley, covered it with a sack, and hid it well, so no one came over. The motorcycle was the same as when she left, and it was the same as when she came back.
