Wu Da and Wu Er drove the RV over and invited Ji Hao, Gu Wanqing, and Zhuo Tingting to get in.
After getting into the vehicle, Ji Hao observed it carefully. The RV was quite large, but not luxurious. It could only barely drive on the snow and was far inferior to his heavy truck RV.
Soon, the group arrived at a small snack processing plant. After a thorough search, they found only a few bags of potato chips.
Wu Da said unhappily, "There's so little food, not even enough to fill a tooth gap. It's really bad luck."
Wu Er said, "It's been so long since the apocalypse. If there were any food, it would have been stolen long ago. There's no way we would have any left."
Wu Dadao: "That's true."
Wu Er pulled Wu Da to the other side of the snack processing factory and whispered, "Big brother, when do we make our move?"
Wu Da looked around and, seeing no one, whispered back, "What's the rush? Let's wait until we've collected all the food. We can't run away without any food. That kid's an ability user, so let him do more work. Ideally, he'll encounter another ability user to weaken him and injure him. That will make things much easier for us then."
Wu Er exclaimed, "Brother, what a brilliant idea! You're a genius!"
Wu raised his chin proudly and said, "Of course."
Wu Er said, "I'll drive later, and we'll drive to places with lots of people, so we're more likely to encounter people with superpowers."
Wu Da cautioned, "But you should also be careful. If there's more than one superhuman, we'll be in big trouble."
"Don't worry, I understand," Wu Er said confidently.
Back in the car, Wu Er took over driving. He had gone out to collect supplies many times and had a general idea of where there were survivor groups.
Not long after, four burly men jumped out from the roadside with steel pipes, intending to rob Ji Hao and his group.
Wu Da shot and killed them, then found their hideout and got three boxes of instant noodles.
"Goodness, a good haul!" Wu Dayi exclaimed happily.
Next, Wu Er drove around collecting supplies and managed to acquire quite a few good items.
Ji Hao made three moves, only encountering a superhuman once. The opponent had awakened an olfactory ability, making him practically useless in combat. Ji Hao defeated the opponent with a single move and then absorbed the opponent's ability.
Wu Da and Wu Er were disappointed and cursed inwardly that these people were useless.
Back in the car, Ji Hao offered, "How about I drive?"
Wu Da and Wu Er were both delighted and naturally wouldn't refuse.
And so, Ji Hao drove his car along the road.
During this time, they found a grain and oil shop and got a lot of rice, which was a hard currency in the post-apocalyptic world and was of great value.
Wu Da, Wu Er, and Zhuo Tingting were very happy. Only Gu Wanqing knew that Ji Hao had countless supplies; otherwise, she would definitely have been excited as well.
After setting off again, Ji Hao drove straight back. Now that he had achieved so much, he could report back, so there was no need to continue wandering around.
Wu Da and Wu Er exchanged a glance, both understanding each other's meaning.
The two men secretly drew their guns. In their view, Ji Hao was driving and completely unprepared. They figured that if they shot him in the head twice, they could definitely kill him.
So what if you have superpowers? If you get shot twice in the head, let's see how you survive.
Ji Hao sneered. He had long seen through the two men's ill intentions and had been keeping his spatial perception active to guard against them. How could he let them succeed?
If a person with innate superpowers were injured by an ordinary person, they would probably be ridiculed for the rest of their life.
Just as Wu Da and Wu Er were about to fire, the road ahead was blocked by a fence. Two burly men stepped forward, and one of them shouted, "Stop right there!"
"Stop your sister!" Wu Da was very annoyed and shot one of the big men in the head through the firing port on the car.
The other one-eyed man panicked, realizing that the people in the car were not to be trifled with and that they had guns. He quickly hid in a nearby building, trying to escape.
Ji Hao got out of the car and caught up with the one-eyed man.
"Die!" The one-eyed man turned around and fired a shot, but it had no effect; the bullet was taken away by Ji Hao.
Then, Ji Hao grabbed the one-eyed giant, looked at him with a smile, and said, "Do you want to live?"
The one-eyed giant replied without hesitation, "Of course I want to. I'll do anything you ask, as long as you let me go."
Ji Hao said, "You answer whatever I ask. If you dare to lie to me, hmph, you'll have to bear the consequences."
The one-eyed giant said, "Go ahead and ask."
Ji Hao asked, "How many people are at your base?"
The one-eyed giant said, "No more than ten people."
Ji Hao asked, "Is there food and women?"
The one-eyed man nodded quickly: "Yes, yes, there are three boxes of instant noodles left, and two women, both with top-notch figures and looks."
"Are there any people with superpowers?" Ji Hao asked the crucial question.
The one-eyed giant hesitated for a moment and said, "No, our boss is just an ordinary person."
Ji Hao was quite disdainful. If there really wasn't one, why would the one-eyed giant hesitate for a moment?
Ji Hao naturally wouldn't let free superpowers pass him by: "Alright, take me there."
"Fine." A ferocious glint appeared deep in the one-eyed man's eyes. So what if you're a superhuman? I'll make you pay.
Ji Hao moved the barrier in front of the car, got back into the car, and continued driving.
Wu Da and Wu Er stopped attacking Ji Hao, still hoping that Ji Hao would take action and capture the one-eyed man's stronghold.
Guided by the one-eyed man, the car arrived at an abandoned factory.
The one-eyed giant said, "This is it."
Ji Hao said to Gu Wanqing and Zhuo Tingting, "You two wait in the car and don't wander around. Wu Da, Wu Er, and I will go down and take a look."
