Chapter 187 The Body Destroyed Again
"How can a different species mingle with humans!" With a flap of its enormous wings, the powerful winds cut through the surrounding vines like sharp blades.
Lu Zhi's nonchalant expression softened somewhat, replaced by a cold smile.
“Not bad, you’re the strongest mutant I’ve ever seen so far,” Lu Zhi said.
"You flatter me." The alien creature stood in mid-air, its tone fierce. "I have always existed within this human's body, using his eyes and body to perceive the world. Lu Zhi glanced at the creature's movements, a green light flashing in his eyes. The vines on his feet grew rapidly. He looked down at the alien creature in front of him, its skin covered with dense green patterns, like the veins on a green leaf.
"You brought him up on purpose because you think you can use him to threaten me?" Lu Zhi said coldly.
“Yes.” This strange creature was surprisingly honest, nodding straightforwardly, “According to reliable information, he is your only weakness.”
"Then you've really kicked a hornet's nest." Lu Zhi's aura was no longer suppressed and exploded instantly. The energy vibrated upon contact with the air, creating a sonic boom.
Dust billowed from the ground, and vines rose into the air, twining together to form a long, thorn-covered blade. Lu Zhi, with his well-defined knuckles and fair hands, gripped the vines tightly; the thorns pierced his palms, then coiled around them as if they had grown from his own hand.
“Then we can’t let you live.” Lu Zhi smiled “kindly” on his face. “You’ll have to suffer a bit.”
"Bang!"
The law enforcers and the alien species started fighting.
The alien species underestimated the strength of the Law Enforcers and were completely overwhelmed.
When the sharp vines pierced his body, the energy instantly went out of control.
"Bang!" It felt like something inside his body was exploding.
Lu Zhi scoffed, "It seems you didn't know anything about me before this."
“I know your ability is to devour.” The mutant pulled the vine from the wound; no blood flowed, as if its body was an empty shell. “Once you get close, there’s basically no chance of escape. I’m indeed no match for you, but…”
He paused deliberately, then tore off one of his arms. There wasn't a drop of blood; instead, it felt like something was wriggling inside the flesh.
"Disgusting." Lv Zhi said with a look of disgust.
"Haven't you noticed yet?" the alien creature sneered. "The energy you've been absorbing is poisonous."
Lu Zhi froze, something he hadn't expected.
When he investigated the devouring power within his body, he indeed discovered a peculiar force that, like a poison, was coursing through his body, causing his motor nerves to stagnate.

Soon, Lu Zhi's body became immobile.
The alien species seized the opportunity and launched a fierce attack on the law enforcers.
The wind blades generated by the flapping of the wings struck Lu Zhi's body, and in no time, he was covered in wounds, bloody and unrecognizable.

"My lover really likes this body of mine." Lu Zhi descended from the air, no longer in human form.
He was a monster, growing out of a plant, with roots and veins covering his entire body. Although he was humanoid, he didn't look like a human at all. Only his eyes shone with a ghostly light, like emeralds.
With a wave of his hand, the air rippled, and green leaves floated in the air, cutting through the air and rising towards the alien species.
The alien's face was extremely ugly, he did not expect that Lu Zhi would actually dodge his strongest attack.
“I don’t need your strength,” said the lawyer.
The alien creature hurriedly tried to dodge, but as soon as it flapped its wings, it was unable to move because its wings were entangled in vines, restricting its movement.
When he tried to cut the vines, he found that they were no longer the same as before, and were even harder to cut than steel bars.
"Die." All the green leaves pierced into his body, each leaf containing the energy of the Law.
They shredded every vein and blood vessel in the alien's body, and under the pressure of energy, the alien's body swelled up like a ball.
He let out a painful scream as his body was torn into countless pieces by the vines, which fell sparsely to the ground.
Lu Zhi landed on the ground, stepping on the corpse of the alien species, and could feel the residual energy on the corpse.

The corpse vanished beneath his feet, and all was calm once more.
Lu Zhi walked towards the refrigerated truck. Zhong Ling's body was still lying outside. Although she was in a vegetative state, one could still sense a faint glimmer of life.
