Chapter 177 The Same Aura
Lan Ya and the others managed to get a lot of information out of Sui Ling, and Sui Ling's answers were half true and half false, making it impossible for them to find fault with her, so they easily believed her.
During a rest stop along the way, Sui Ling told Sui Cheng and Lü Zhi about the questions Lan Ya and the others had asked.
"It seems they really want to infiltrate the base." Lu Zhi sneered. "They're inquiring about the base both openly and secretly. They're really not afraid of being exposed."
Sui Ling shook her head slightly and said, "This girl named Lan Ya, her family has quite a status at the Federation base. She's a bit arrogant and conceited, and quite confident in herself."
The passenger asked her, "Did you use your powers on her?"
Sui Ling nodded and said, "I used it."
The passenger asked again, "What did you see?"
Sui Ling tilted her head and said, "It's nothing, just that he died a pretty tragic death."
Curious, Lu Zhi asked, "How did he die?"
Sui Ling said, "Their identities were exposed at the base, but Lan Ya died too quickly for me to see exactly what happened. We need to see the others."
"Then come and see mine." The attendant held out his hand.
Sui Ling grasped his hand, foreseeing what would happen behind Sui Cheng.
She saw them return to District Six, Xie Cheng returned to Guan Qi's side, and the undercover operation was naturally exposed. Lan Ya and the others realized they had been deceived and sent signals to the people of the nearby plundering organizations.
But there's something strange about this: the passenger was taken away.
Upon hearing this, Lu Zhi exploded and immediately asked, "How could they have been taken away?"
How could someone manage to take away his passenger right under his nose?
“I think it’s more like my brother went with him on his own initiative.” Sui Ling tried to describe the various details she saw in her premonition.
Sui Cheng was neither injured nor knocked unconscious. There were only two or three people surrounding him, which was easy for him to deal with. They didn't seem to be coercing him, so it was more like he went with them voluntarily.
"What kind of person are you talking about?" the passenger asked her.
Sui Ling described him as: "He was bald, dressed in church styling clothes, and wearing dark sunglasses; he looked rather out of place."
A thought flashed through Lu Zhi's mind, and he asked Sui Ling what the person next to the bald man looked like.
Sui Ling said, "The others didn't see clearly, but they saw a foreign man with brown hair and a rather rugged appearance."
“As expected.” Lu Zhi stroked his chin and said, “This man should be the one I saw outside Fengcheng. Since he’s here, that bald guy should be the one with the prophetic ability.”
He and his attendant exchanged a glance, and the attendant frowned and said, "If I went with him voluntarily, then what did he use to persuade me?"
"This has nothing to do with me, does it?" Lu Zhi pointed at himself and then cursed angrily, "They're not still after me, are they? The new generation is all dead, what are they doing getting involved!"
He grew angrier as he spoke, and said sharply, "Why don't I sneak over there and blow them up?"
The passenger was amused by his words; it was indeed something he was capable of doing.
“Alright, then you go ahead, I’ll take care of things here.” The attendant didn’t try to stop him and nodded in agreement.
Lu Zhi looked at him, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Aren't you going to stop me?"
"Do what you want to do, why should I stop you?" the passenger retorted.
Lu Zhi, both angry and annoyed, pulled the man into his arms and nuzzled his neck several times, saying resentfully, "The right thing to do was to stop me."
"Stop fooling around." When the passengers saw Lan Ya and the others return, they couldn't wait to meet up with Xie Cheng and the others when they arrived at the rest stop. They probably discussed something, and their expressions looked very happy.
Lu Zhi hadn't let go of Sui Cheng yet, so when Lan Ya and the others came over, they saw them embracing intimately. Anyone with eyes could see what was going on.
Lan Ya felt a little regretful. Both of them looked very much to her liking, but she never expected them to be a couple.
Lu Zhi met her gaze, raised his eyebrows provocatively, and quickly turned his head to kiss Sui Cheng on the cheek with a loud "smack".
The passenger pushed his head away in disgust and muttered, "Stop being so clingy, it's childish!"
“How could you say that, darling!” Lu Zhi said indignantly, “We’re still in the honeymoon phase, it’s normal to be all lovey-dovey.”
"It's time to set off." The attendant saw Feng Bai approaching and gestured to him, indicating that they had all rested and could continue their journey.
“Baby, from now on, you’re not allowed to leave my side for more than half a meter!” Lu Zhi gripped his hand tightly and said with a serious face, “No matter what those people say, you’re not allowed to go with them.”
“Lawyer, have you even used your brain?” The attendant glanced at him and said, “Would you let me go with them alone?”
"Of course not!" Lü Zhi answered without thinking, then belatedly realized the meaning behind Sui Cheng's words.
Once they were in the car, it wasn't convenient for them to talk about these things. Suicheng gave Suiling a look, and Suiling immediately understood. She called Lanya and the others into the car, leaving only Suicheng and Luzhi outside.
The passenger said, "Didn't Xiaoling foresee this before? It must have happened after I left with those people."
Lu Zhi frowned and said, "Let Xiao Ling practice more so that she can predict things more accurately in the future."
Sui Cheng couldn't resist pinching his cheek, but before she could finish, Lu Zhi pressed her against the car and kissed her fiercely.
They were in the back of the car, and since Lanya and the others had their backs to them, they didn't see them at all.
"We'll see tomorrow." Lu Zhi lightly bit his companion's lip before pulling him into the car.
The girl next to Lan Ya, having received a signal from Lan Ya, followed them in and asked with a curious expression, "Brother Cheng, aren't you brothers? You don't look like it."
"No." Sui Cheng licked his lips, still feeling the lingering warmth.
His cold response left the girl speechless.
Wenwen looked curiously at the two extra aunties beside him, and as if sensing something, he moved closer to Lanya and sniffed her.
"Wenwen, what are you doing!" Sui Ling quickly grabbed the child back, then smiled apologetically at Lan Ya, "I'm sorry, Sister Lan."
"It's nothing." Although Lan Ya was also frightened, Wenwen was just a child after all, and her sudden approach was probably just out of curiosity.
Wenwen pouted, then hugged Suiling's neck and whispered something in her ear.
Lan Ya wanted to listen out of curiosity, but she didn't hear any sound at all, as if it had been blocked by something.
This is definitely something we can do steadily.
His spatial ability created a barrier, so Lan Ya and the others couldn't hear him speak.
Wenwen said that Lanya and the others had a familiar aura, just like the siblings in the lab.
Sui Ling's expression changed slightly, and she glanced at Lan Ya without leaving a trace.
With the same aura as Zhong Ling and her brother, what good could it be?
