If Chapter 2 exists, kill them all.

Chapter 2 If there are any, kill them all.

The passenger and the man locked eyes, neither giving way to the other, creating a tense atmosphere, even one of tension.

"He can't be saved." The attendant coldly uttered a sentence.

The man wasn't angry at all; instead, he smiled and said, "How will you know if you don't try?"

Chen Jiang found this man rather strange. Despite being so badly injured, he didn't seem worried at all, as if he really regarded their captain as some kind of life-saving medicine and was determined to have him save his life.

The passenger glanced at the man's chest; the bleeding seemed to have stopped, but with so much blood, the fact that this man could still talk to them was unusual.

"Ahem, ahem." The man coughed a few times, covering his mouth, and said with a hint of shyness in his eyes, "Don't stare at me like that, it'll make me feel embarrassed (of my erection)."

The passenger thought the man was mentally ill, and seriously so; his brain might have been infected by a foreign species.

Finally, Chen Jiang bandaged him up, and the bleeding stopped completely.

The man was unable to walk due to his injury, so the servant asked Chen Jiang to carry him. Chen Jiang was willing, but the man refused.

He looked at his companion with a wronged and resentful expression and said, "I want you to carry me."

Chen Jiang: "..." Today was truly an eye-opening experience—like a knife pulling a butt.

Sui Cheng didn't want to pay attention to him, but the man was very determined, with a domineering air about him, and his seemingly indifferent peach blossom eyes had a deep depth.

"You might as well just wait here to die." The servant didn't say these words out loud. If there was a real chance to save someone, he would still do so.

"Don't be so cruel," the man said weakly, sounding almost like he was pleading.

"Get on," the attendant said coldly.

Upon hearing those two words, the man's eyes lit up. He strode up behind him and climbed up his back, showing no signs of injury, though the paleness on his face betrayed him.

He is taller than the 185cm passenger, probably more than 1.9 meters, and a bit heavy, but the passenger can still handle it.

"My name is Lü Zhi, and yours is Lü Zhi."

He hugged the attendant's neck, his breath brushing against his earlobe. Seeing the slight redness in his ears, a smile flickered in his eyes.

It seems like you have very sensitive ears.

That's what he was thinking.

"Sui Cheng, captain of the Sunrise Squad at the Huaxia Base." Sui Cheng's handsome face was stern as he uttered these words coldly.

Chen Jiang added from the back: "I am Chen Jiang from the Sunrise Squad."

"Sui Cheng, a good name."

Chen Jiang felt completely ignored by this man. Watching the man smile like a cunning fox on the captain's back, an unbelievable thought came to his mind: Could it be that he really has his eye on their captain?

If the attendant knew what Chen Jiang was thinking, he probably wouldn't be able to resist beating up the law enforcement officer.

At that moment, a man was still talking incessantly in his ear, as if he was deliberately blowing air into his ear.

"Captain Sui, I've been saved by your life, and I have no way to repay you. How about I stay and be your boyfriend?"

"Hmm? Why isn't Captain Sui saying anything? I think I'm pretty good-looking. If you think it's okay, you can give it a try."

Sui Cheng gritted his teeth and said coldly, "If you don't shut up, I'll throw you off."

That threat was spot on, and the lawyer immediately shut his mouth.

But less than two minutes later, he spoke again, but this time he wasn't spouting nonsense.

"Captain Sui, I'm a plant-based ability user, which might be very useful. Don't you want to consider it?"

Sui Cheng was somewhat surprised, but it made sense. With so many alien species here, if Lu Zhi didn't have some skills, he wouldn't have been eaten by the alien species before they even arrived. But what does a plant-type ability user have to do with a bed warmer?

Lu Zhi continued to entice, "You must be here to find that high-level mutant, right? It was it that caused all my injuries. I barely managed to kill it when my powers were exhausted."

The passenger had considered the possibility that he was the one who killed him, but it seemed impossible for one person to take down a high-level mutant. "So what are you trying to say?"

Lu Zhi whispered in his ear, "Give him a chance, like Captain."

Sui Cheng's thick, dark eyebrows furrowed slightly. It was obvious that Lu Zhi had something on his mind, but his intuition told him that it was best not to be curious about what he was after.

"I can't decide this, and not all superhumans are suitable for joining the team."

"Then I'll wait and see." Lu Zhi chuckled softly, his voice low and husky, captivating the heart.

Zhang Meng's team also failed to find the whereabouts of the advanced mutant. Upon arriving at the rendezvous point, they discovered that the captain had actually carried someone back. They quickly went over and asked, "Captain, what's going on?"

"Call Linzhi to come and take a look at him."

They had no healers in their group, only medicine for injuries in Linzhi.

Sui Cheng put Lu Zhi down, and Lu Zhi, not wanting to be lazy, leaned against a nearby rock. The bloodstains on his shirt looked too shocking.

"My God." Lin Zhi was also shocked by the blood on Lu Zhi's body. It was a miracle that he could still live after losing so much blood.

"Um, I need to help you treat your wound." After seeing Lu Zhi's face clearly, Lin Zhi blushed inappropriately. Afraid of being scolded by the passengers, she glanced at him cautiously.

Lu Zhi looked at the others with a somewhat indifferent gaze. Although he had a smile on his lips, it made them feel uncomfortable. "It's not good for the young girl to see such a bloody scene. Captain, why don't you do it?"

When he called for a passenger, his voice had a slight trailing tone, as if he were saying something ambiguous.

Sui Cheng coldly took the items from Lin Zhi's hands and said to Lu Zhi, "Take them off yourself."

Lu Zhi smiled happily, "Good, I didn't expect Captain Sui to be so proactive."

They're not talking about the same thing at all, are they?

Lu Zhi took off his shirt, revealing snow-white skin and well-defined muscles. He was both sexy and handsome, a typical example of someone who looked slim in clothes but muscular when undressed.

Sui Cheng stared at the hole in Lu Zhi's chest, paused for a moment, and uttered a soul-searching question: "An ordinary person with such a serious injury would have died before we even arrived."

He made no attempt to hide his suspicion of Lu Zhi, but Lu Zhi seemed genuinely innocent. He moved closer to Sui Cheng, who instinctively tried to pull away, but Lu Zhi grabbed his arm and pulled him closer. He said to Sui Cheng in a very low voice, "Because my plant-based ability has healing properties, Captain Sui, I've told you this secret. You can see how much I trust you, right?"

Sui Cheng's expression was solemn, and his gaze towards Lu Zhi did not relax at all; on the contrary, he became even more vigilant.

He asked, "Then why are you in Xinghai City? It's far from all three bases."

Lu Zhi explained very seriously, "I have always been in Xinghai City and have never left."

Before the passenger could ask any more questions, he added, "I'm the one who told others about the high-level mutants in Xinghai City. I've been waiting for you to come and save me."

Sui Cheng thought for a moment and remembered that the person who received the information did say that someone in Xinghai City had told him about the alien species. He originally thought that person had left, but he didn't expect that the person had been guarding Xinghai City until they arrived.

Thinking of this, Sui Cheng's attitude towards the law enforcement officer softened considerably. Life is not easy for this person, and saving a life is a life worth saving.

After settling Lu Zhi in the car, the attendant took Chen Jiang to check other places as a precaution, leaving Zhang Meng and the other three in the car to keep an eye on Lu Zhi.

The lawyer was very outgoing and quickly extracted the information he wanted.

Lin Zhi asked curiously, "Brother Lu, where are you from? How old are you? Do you have a girlfriend?"

Lu Zhi smiled, but there was no warmth in his eyes. He lowered his gaze, and no one noticed his indifference. "I'm from Xinghai City, and I'm about... 25 years old. As for a girlfriend, I don't have one."

"He's a year younger than the captain!" Lin Zhi's eyes lit up. Lu Zhi was exactly her type. It was a rare opportunity to meet someone like him, and it would be a shame not to give it a try. But her joy didn't last long before she heard Lu Zhi say the next sentence.

"But I fell in love with your captain at first sight and want to pursue him. So, does your captain have a girlfriend? Or a boyfriend?"

His tone was relaxed and cheerful, with a slight smile playing on his lips, but what he was thinking was: "If there are any, kill them all."
