Yan Hai paused in his excited chat. He bent down and said, "I'm going to the bathroom. We'll talk later."
"Let me go with you." Lu Chengxue wanted to get up.
"No need. All the zombies in the supermarket have been killed. And I won't go far. I can just pick up a bottle behind that shelf and catch it. There are other people watching nearby."
Watching his best friend leave to go to the bathroom, the boy nudged the man in a suit munching on instant noodles next to him with his shoulder and asked, "What's your name?"
The man in the suit glanced at him, slurped down a whole bucket of instant noodles, tilted his head back and drank the soup from the paper bucket. He wiped the corner of his mouth with his sleeve in a completely unrefined manner and said, "My name is Li Zichen. I used to be the lobby manager of the bank across the street."
"My name is Lu Chengxue, and we're students from the No. 2 Middle School, which is 2 kilometers away."

Suddenly the room became dim.

"Don't... don't..." Ah Hu, feeling death approaching, came to his senses. He lost his initial arrogance and struggled to beg for mercy in fear: "Killing is against the law! I know I was wrong! Please forgive me! I was just joking..."

The thick crowbar rammed directly into the back of his head, which was much easier than stabbing a zombie's skull. The sturdy man was like a slaughtered bullfrog, his legs twitching unconsciously twice before he stopped moving.
Xu Yan pulled out the crowbar with an expressionless face: "That's a good joke, don't make it in your next life."
Looking at the person who had completely stopped breathing at her feet, she took a deep breath and slowly closed her eyes.
