At the edge of the cliff, everyone was still arguing about what to do... just when everyone was about to despair.
Jiang Chan's eyes suddenly narrowed!
She whirled around, facing the bewildered crowd behind her, her voice carrying an undeniable command: "Everyone! Back up! Back to the edge of the woods! Clear this area! Quickly!"
The sound wasn't loud, but it carried a strange penetrating power and a sense of oppression!
Although the crowd was confused, they had long since developed an instinctive obedience to the "fairy's" orders! In a flurry of activity, a dozen or so people pushed and shoved each other, quickly retreating to the edge of the woods a few dozen steps away, completely clearing out the relatively flat clearing in front of the cliff!
In the center of the open space, only Jiang Chan remained. All eyes were on her, filled with doubt and a hint of inexplicable anticipation.
Chen Yan supported Zhou Shi, his eyes sharp as an eagle's, staring intently at Jiang Chan and her deflated bundle.

A colossal creature, entirely silver-gray in color, with a streamlined design and gleaming with a cold metallic luster, appeared out of thin air on that open ground, like a mythical steel bird!
It has wide wings, a streamlined fuselage, and a transparent cockpit canopy below the nose! The tail is raised high! Its size almost occupies the entire open space, exuding a suffocating sense of oppression and a cold, futuristic beauty!
"ah--!!!"
"Gods!!"
"Iron... Divine Bird!!"
"A miracle! It really is a miracle!"
After a brief silence, the crowd erupted in uncontrollable screams and cries that pierced the sky! The extreme shock completely overwhelmed their reason!
The crowd collapsed to their knees with a thud! Their foreheads pressed against the cold earth, their bodies trembling violently! They dared not even glance at the steel behemoth that had appeared out of nowhere!
Chen Yan felt a chill run from the soles of his feet straight to the top of his head! He held onto Zhou Shi, who was almost collapsing, while his own legs were also going weak uncontrollably!
Looking at the enormous metal structure he had never imagined, and then at the tiny yet godlike figure in the center of the open space, his mind went blank, leaving only boundless shock and utter speechlessness!
Jiang Chan ignored the earth-shattering noise behind her. She strode to the "Iron Bird" and reached out to open the side hatch.
Inside are four leather seats side by side, along with a simple dashboard and joystick.
"Xiao Tao! Chen Yan! Madam Zhou! Come up here! The rest of you, wait here!"
Jiang Chan's voice pierced through the cries and screams behind her. Although Xiao Tao was also frightened, her trust in Jiang Chan overwhelmed everything.
She broke free from the hand of a kneeling woman next to her, ran over, and was picked up by Jiang Chan, put on the plane, put in a seat, and fastened her seatbelt.
Chen Yan's face turned ashen as he helped Zhou Shi, who was on the verge of fainting, to the side of the plane.
He gritted his teeth, helped Zhou Shi into the seat, and awkwardly imitated Jiang Chan to fasten her seatbelt. Then he stiffly sat down and fastened his own seatbelt.
His palms were covered in cold sweat, and he gripped the armrests of the seat tightly, his knuckles turning white.
"Hold on tight!"
Jiang Chan got into the driver's seat and closed the hatch. The cries and screams outside were instantly shut out. She took a deep breath and focused.
Start the engine, check the gauges, use the joystick to control the direction, and the throttle to control the height...
Memories of flying a small propeller plane a few times during the apocalypse flooded back, and this foolproof instruction manual was more than enough!
The engine roared with a deep, powerful hum! The propellers under the wings began to spin slowly, faster and faster! The powerful airflow whipped up fallen leaves and dust from the ground!
"Aaaaaah—! We're flying...we're flying! The iron bird is alive!"
The crowd outside erupted in even more terrified screams! Many people fainted from fright! Jiang Chan pushed the control lever!
Amidst the stunned gazes of the crowd, the giant steel bird glided lightly for a few steps, raised its nose, and instantly lifted off the ground, steadily flying towards the other side of the cliff!
Inside the cabin. Little Tao pressed her face against the cold glass by the porthole, her big eyes filled with wonder and excitement. "Wow! We're flying! Sister Jiang is so amazing! We're in the sky! The trees below look so small!"
She completely forgot her fear, leaving only a child's natural curiosity about new things.
Chen Yan and Zhou Shi, however, presented a completely different picture. Chen Yan's face was deathly pale, his lips tightly pressed together, he gripped the handrail tightly, and his body was as stiff as a stone! Every slight jolt made his heart stop!
He dared not look at the blurry scenery rushing past the window, and could only stare intently at the back of Jiang Chan's head in front of him, as if it were his only lifeline. His stomach churned, and he suppressed the urge to vomit.
Ms. Zhou was even more terrified; the moment the plane took off, her eyes rolled back and she completely fainted. The seatbelt held her firmly in her seat.
Jiang Chan focused intently on piloting the plane. In just two minutes, the plane smoothly crossed the despairing cliff and landed steadily on a relatively flat area on the opposite hillside.
The propeller slowly stopped spinning. Unfasten your seatbelt and open the hatch.
"We're here, get off."
Jiang Chan's voice remained calm. Xiao Tao cheered and unbuckled her seatbelt, jumping out of the plane. Chen Yan's face was still pale, his legs were weak, and he practically crawled off the plane, nearly falling as he landed.
He disregarded his own safety and hurriedly unbuckled Zhou's seatbelt. Zhou looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings, still not fully recovered from the shock.
