Chapter 2: Guess what your fate will be next?!

Even dressed in patched clothes and covered in grime, her delicate features, hidden beneath the dirt, appeared exceptionally different in Black Wind's eyes.

He grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth. "Tsk! This one... looks fresh and tender, still a virgin, right? Not bad, really not bad!"

He licked his thick lips, his eyes gleaming with greed. "Take him back to the village! Tonight, I'm going to be the first to try my luck! Let's have some meat!"

"Hahaha! Congratulations, boss!"

"Black Wind Master has a good eye!"

"Don't worry about the rest of the little vixens, the brothers will take care of you one by one in a bit!"

The bandits burst into lewd laughter, their foul language spreading like a poisonous fog.

Suppressed sobs rose from the pile of bound women.

The woman next to Jiang Chan, who was wearing a headscarf, bit her lip tightly, tears streaming down her face like broken beads, and her body trembled even more violently.

Jiang Chan kept her head down, her long eyelashes casting a small shadow under her eyes, concealing all her emotions.

My fingertips unconsciously traced the rough knots, feeling the resilience of the fibers.

Driven like livestock to the slaughter, the group staggered toward the mountain stronghold under the shouts and whips of the bandits.

A heavy sense of despair weighed on everyone's hearts.

The woman next to Jiang Chan could no longer hold back, covering her face and sobbing uncontrollably, "Please, please let us go...we'll give you food...we'll give you money..."

"Whether you release them or not, all your grain is ours!" one of the bandits lewdly roared. "What are you wailing about? Shut the hell up! If you serve the brothers well tonight, you'll be laughing all the way to the bank! Hahaha!"

The bandits burst into another round of shrill laughter.

Amidst piercing cries, painful groans, and the triumphant laughter of bandits, Jiang Chan was roughly dragged out alone.

The loose knot tightened again under the bandits' rough pulling, digging deeply into her slender wrist.

She did not resist, but was violently pushed and shoved by the two bandits towards a house built of mountain stones deep in the mountain stronghold.

The heavy wooden door slammed shut behind her, cutting off all the light and noise from outside.

The heavy bolt slammed down, making a teeth-grinding scraping sound.

The stone house was dimly lit, with only a few faint, dusty beams of light filtering through a small ventilation opening high up.

The air was cold and damp, filled with a musty smell.

Jiang Chan leaned against the cold, rough stone wall and slowly raised her head.

Outside, the villagers' mournful cries and the bandits' wild laughter drifted through the thick stone walls, like noises from another world.

The fragility and terror on her face receded like the tide, leaving only a deathly coldness.

Night fell quickly.

In the darkness, her eyes adjusted to the dim light, without any ripples.

Her fingertips unconsciously and very lightly traced the edge of the knot, as if she were removing the safety pin from a weapon.

The cold, tactile sensation of the stone wall penetrated through the thin clothing, clearly outlining every rough bump and depression.

She didn't move; she just stood there, like a stubborn rock thrown into a deep pool, waiting for the complete darkness to descend.

The huge bonfire in the center of the stronghold burned brighter and brighter, and the leaping flames cast the distorted and ferocious shadows of the bandits onto the surrounding stone walls and wooden poles, like a group of demons dancing wildly.

"Boss! Isn't it about time?" A man with a deep scar on his face and a mouthful of yellow teeth approached Black Wind Demon, who was sitting in the main seat. He was carrying a half-jar of cheap wine, and a strong smell of alcohol wafted out.

Black Wind Demon's chest was bare, revealing thick chest hair. His face was flushed with drunkenness, and his eyes were cloudy yet flashed with naked bestiality.

He squinted, his gaze lingering on the group of bound women before finally settling on the stone house. He mumbled a gurgling sound in his throat: "Hmm...it's time...I'll go...go and have a taste!" He struggled to his feet, his massive body swaying.

"Haha, Boss is awesome!" Another bandit, blind in one eye, also came over, rubbing his hands together. His one eye gleamed with eager greed in the firelight. "Brothers, let's light a lamp for you! Let us see what kind of celestial beauty has caught the boss's eye!"

Several of the underlings nearby also joined in with lewd laughter.

"Get lost!" Black Wind Demon laughed and cursed, but still let Scarface and One-Eyed Dragon support his swaying body on either side.

The three men, reeking of strong, nauseating alcohol and sweat, staggered toward the stone house amidst the even louder, more filthy laughter and strange cries of the other bandits.

The women huddled in the corner cried even louder.

"Heaven is blind..." a nearby old woman groaned softly, as if in a dream, her cloudy eyes staring blankly at the dark night sky. "What a tragedy..."

Aunt Zhao suddenly closed her eyes, her body trembling.

She knew what was about to happen.

The heavy footsteps sounded like they were pounding on their hearts.

"Clang!" A piercing sound of metal colliding.

Inside the room, Jiang Chan still leaned against the cold stone wall.

The noise and footsteps outside could be clearly heard.

The scraping motion of the knot stopped.

In the darkness, she slowly raised her head, and the last trace of the "lamb's" disguise completely disappeared from her eyes, which had adjusted to the darkness.

Cold and sharp, like cold iron sunk into the deep sea, without a ripple.

She slightly adjusted her posture, lifting her back away from the wall, spreading her legs slightly apart, and lowering her center of gravity to a point most conducive to instantaneous power generation.

A louder, muffled thud followed by the crisp sound of a broken wooden peg.
