When the villagers discovered that Jiang Chan had gotten a nearly new cart for free, their envious and jealous gazes never stopped.

"Girl Jiang, this car... did you really find it in the village?"

Jiang Chan pushed the cart, only managing to hum a single word through her nose: "Mmm."

"Where did you find it? Are there any others? Even a broken one will do!" the person asking asked urgently.

"That place," Jiang Chan pointed in the direction, "is gone."

But this answer clearly failed to satisfy everyone.

"Gone? How is that possible!"

In a flash, the villagers who had been watching dispersed like a receding tide, rushing quickly toward the broken walls and ruins that had already been searched countless times.
