The 120th Dungeon Prisoner and the Depleted Dragon Crystal!

"...Yeah, by then, tsk tsk, that giant lizard will definitely be nothing but a skeleton..."

"...Do you think those big shots will be bothered by the stench? Haha..."

"...Keep your voice down, don't let them hear you inside..."

The sound disappeared.

Jiang Chan's enormous dragon eyes slowly closed in the darkness, then suddenly opened again!

In those golden vertical pupils, all the pain and despair were suppressed, leaving only coldness!

Seven days!

Countdown begins!

Click...

The heavy gates closed overhead, completely shutting out the brief bursts of noise from outside.

The cavern fell silent and dark again, with only the energy-absorbing runes on the rock walls flashing with a cold, unchanging eerie light.

The guard's footsteps clattered as he descended the narrow stairs, muttering, "...What's all this fuss about? In the end, all we get is a pile of skeletons... Seven days later, ugh, finally I can stand guard somewhere else. This godforsaken place is stinking and stuffy..."

Seven days later, when the gate rose again and the sunlight shone in, it was her final stage!

Instinct urges her to struggle, to tear the chains apart, and to destroy everything. But the current state of her dragon body tells her that's wishful thinking.

The chains remained unmoved, the runes remained greedy, and every attempt to gather power only brought more intense extraction and excruciating pain to the collarbone.

We can't tough it out.

We can only follow their wishes... and head towards death, but faster, even faster! Faster than they can catch off guard, fast enough to deliver the grandest "fireworks" at the climax of the celebration!

“System,” Jiang Chan called out in her mind, her voice filled with suppressed urgency and determination, “How do I activate that [Energy Flow Guiding Module]?”

[Host confirms activation of the [Energy Flow Guiding Module]?]

[Function Description: This module assists the host in precisely controlling their own energy, the output rate of the Dragon Crystal Source, and its external manifestation.]

"Start!" Jiang Chan said without hesitation.

Buzz...

A strange feeling suddenly arose.

She could clearly "feel" the pulsation of the dark dragon crystal deep within her chest. Each pulsation was like a pump, forcibly squeezed by an invisible force, causing it to pump out a viscous and dim flow of energy.

This accelerated flow of energy did not rampage through the weakened meridians and cause excruciating pain as it had before. Instead, it was "guided" by the system in an extremely subtle way, like a gentle stream, actively and evenly flowing into the binding runes that adhered to the chains and rock walls.

The rune's light seemed to brighten slightly, and the absorption became smoother.

call……

Jiang Chan couldn't help but exhale a longer, weaker breath, carrying a heavy, decaying sulfur smell. She could feel that, with the accelerated output of energy, the enormous dragon body was undergoing visible changes.

The muscles, which once retained some elasticity, now atrophied at an even faster rate, like deflated sacs. The skin and scales that tightly enveloped the bones became even looser and shriveled.

The already dull black scales curled up even more, and their color changed from a dull gray-black to a lifeless, deathly gray. Some of the smaller scales even began to peel off, drifting lightly into the stagnant sewage beneath them.

The most obvious change was deep within the chest cavity. The dragon crystal, whose light was already as faint as a candle flickering in the wind, now seemed to have been forcibly extinguished, its light rapidly dimming, plunging from a dark red to a chilling, stone-like gray-white stillness.

Each pulse was weaker than the last, and the intervals between them were longer.

A wave of weakness washed over her, each wave more powerful than the last. Even moving her eyes became incredibly difficult.

The excruciating pain of the chains piercing the bones seemed to become even clearer and more unbearable because of this overall weakness.

She is rotting faster.

Time passed second by second. She didn't know how much time had gone by—perhaps half a day, perhaps a whole day. The cave was so quiet that only her heavy, labored breathing and the faint hum of the runes absorbing energy could be heard.

Sudden!

The heavy sounds of gears turning and gates opening came from above!

Someone's coming!
