When Liu Mingfeng and Wu Qiaoqiao came out with the tray, Feng Mingyue had already tidied up the things on the table and put them in the cabinet in the main room. When she saw the bowls of noodles on the tray, she called out softly to Wu Qiaoqiao's room.
"Big brother, big sister-in-law, come out and eat."
After washing up, Feng Minghao entered the room and saw his wife sitting on the edge of the kang (a heated brick bed) with a slightly protruding belly. Looking at the two children on the bed who were lying there like little turtles with their heads raised, he gave a silly smile and went over to hug Lin Yuwei.

So everyone added chili sauce to their bowls if they wanted spicy food, and vinegar if they wanted sour food. Tie Dan, Da Ya, and Wu Qiaoqiao, however, simply ate from their own bowls without adding anything. Wu Qiaoqiao couldn't eat that because she was breastfeeding her two children, and the two children were told by the adults to eat less; the two sensible children were very obedient to the adults.
After all, for Tiedan and Daya, their parents were gone, and they had to live with their second uncle and aunt. Although their second aunt treated them very well, even asking them to call her "father" and "mother" and promising to treat them as her own children, the two little ones were always uneasy. Moreover, some people in the village liked to gossip, so they thought that as long as they listened to the adults, they wouldn't be unwanted children.
Everyone finished eating quickly. After the meal, the two men took the dishes and chopsticks to the kitchen to wash them, while Wu Qiaoqiao took Tie Dan'er and Daya back to her room. After cleaning the two boys' hands, feet and faces, she let them lie down on the bed to sleep with their two younger brothers, waiting for Liu Mingfeng to finish cleaning up the kitchen so he could come in and rest.

Wu Qiaoqiao and Lin Yuwei didn't wait for the two men. One of them had to take care of the child, and the other needed to rest.
