After chatting for a while, Yuanyuan was about to hang up the phone, but before hanging up, she chatted with Yin Changshou and his wife, as well as Yin Jiao, for a little longer before finally hanging up.
After the phone call, the four of them stopped chatting and went to take a nap, since they would all be busy in the afternoon. Liu Xiangjun also stayed at Yin Changshou's house for a nap, but he didn't share a room with Yin Jiao. Instead, he went to rest in Yin Jiao's second brother's room.
Yin Changshou and his wife have two sons and one daughter. The eldest and second sons are both sons, and the daughter, Yin Jiao, is the youngest. The eldest son, Yin Hong, is a lawyer, while the second son, Yin, is a retired soldier who has now become a proud police officer.
Yin Jiao is their youngest daughter, currently a senior in college. Before she met Liu Xiangjun, she was scouted and signed with an entertainment company during her sophomore year. However, she did not sign an artist contract because she can not only write songs but also play various musical instruments. Therefore, Yin Jiao signed a music producer contract.
When Yin Jiao signed the contract, she was specially recruited by the company. Therefore, her contract was different from others. The contract stated that Yin Jiao would focus on her studies during her time at school, and she would submit her written songs to the company. Of course, there were other conditions as well. One condition was that she would help with voice-over recordings for any singers the company needed. While these conditions were lenient, other conditions were stricter. For example, while other musicians who had already graduated signed five-year contracts, Yin Jiao was required to sign a ten-year contract. When Yin Changshou and his wife heard about these conditions, they thoroughly researched Lin Yuwei's company before agreeing to the contract.
After signing the contract, Lin Yuwei's subordinates asked her if it was really worth it. After all, they would be paying Yin Jiao a basic salary every month while she was in school. The boss was investing so much, wasn't she worried that if Yin Jiao achieved something, she would be poached by someone else, which would be a huge loss?
When Lin Yuwei heard her subordinates say this, her response was to consider it an investment in advance. Even if Yin Jiao's inspiration dries up and she can't write good songs in the future, her excellent musical skills will still benefit their company. As for whether they are worried that Yin Jiao will be poached by others after she becomes famous, she believes that the children raised by that couple will never be bad.
Needless to say, the two young people even started dating, making them practically family. Of course, even though they were family, the contracts they were supposed to fulfill still had to be honored.
Yin Jiao knew that Liu Xiangjun was Lin Yuwei's nephew, but she didn't reveal this relationship at the company. So no one at the company knew that her boyfriend had that relationship with the boss. Because she didn't make it public at the company, when she was a senior in college, Yin Jiao had to clock in and out of work every day, just like the other new employees. Today was no different; she worked at the company all morning. Since the company was close to her home, she would come home for lunch every day, rest for a while, and then go back to work in the afternoon.
The same applies to Liu Xiangjun; he currently works at Chengqi Publishing House. However, what Liu Xiangjun doesn't know is that half of the shares in Chengqi Publishing House actually belong to him. This is because after Wu Qiaoqiao learned of Liu Xiangjun's writing talent, she discussed it with Lin Yuwei, and Wu Qiaoqiao exchanged something else for half of Chengqi Publishing House's shares from Lin Yuwei. Because Liu Xiangjun was still young at the time of the share exchange, only just starting high school, he wasn't told. Therefore, Liu Xiangjun still doesn't know that his so-called "working" is actually just him working for himself.
After the four of them rested, they split up and went about their own business. However, Yin Jiao was driven to the company by Liu Xiangjun. After dropping Yin Jiao off at the company, Liu Xiangjun started the car and headed towards his publishing house.
After working until the afternoon, Liu Xiangjun saw that it was almost lunchtime, so he got off work and drove to pick up his girlfriend first. Then he went to the school to pick up Yin Changshou and his wife. After calling to confirm that his grandmother had already arrived at Liu Erniu's shop with Lin Yuwei's daughter and son, he drove there as well.
Upon arriving at their destination, they discovered that Liu Erniu's establishment was actually a private club that only accommodated ten tables of guests per day, and reservations were required. This secluded location, coupled with their exclusive clientele including celebrities, officials, and other special guests, made parking quite difficult.
So when they arrived at their destination, Liu Xiangjun first parked the car on the side of the road and let Yin Changshou and his wife and Yin Jiao get out of the car and go to their destination, while he drove to a parking lot a little further away to park.
Yin Changshou and his wife, along with Yin Jiao, didn't stand on ceremony with Liu Xiangjun. After Liu Xiangjun's car started moving, the three of them turned and walked into an alley. Liu Erniu's shop was located in a slightly larger courtyard house in the alley.
When they bought this courtyard house, it drained all the money his family had earned over the years. Fortunately, his siblings lent him some money, which prevented him and his wife from having to give up the project due to cash flow problems.
After purchasing the courtyard house, Liu Erniu and Wu Aiguo hired a professional designer at a high price to renovate it based on its original foundation. They created a total of 11 private rooms, ten of which were reserved for entertaining guests. The last room would not be reserved for anyone except a very important person; otherwise, it would be used as a dining room for their family.
