Zhu Xiaowu showed his test report to Jiang Fei and others.
"This bacterium is called Streptococcus pyogenes, and in some places it is called man-eating bacteria."
"Once infected, it only takes 24 to 48 hours for patients to develop symptoms, go into shock, and develop multiple organ failure. The mortality rate is very high."

Su Liuyuan made a bold guess: "There are no survivors in Ling Province. Is it because they all died from the mutated man-eating bacteria and their bodies were eaten by animals?"
Jiang Fei: "It's hard to say, but starting today, we must wear protective gear and disinfect when we get off the bus."
"Don't touch the water outside."
"Qianyao, Xiaowu, please count how much drinking water is left in your car."

Xu Qianyao and Zhu Xiaowu returned to the RV to count the remaining water sources.

Xu Qianyao put on protective equipment and got out of the car, showing his rescue team credentials.
"We are the official team of the Huaxia base. We came to Hyuncheng to carry out a mission."
"Please move aside, or we will take special measures..."
Before he could finish his words, a hoarse voice interrupted him.
"Captain Xu?"
Xu Qianyao looked at the man in the pink raincoat in confusion.
Through the plastic bottle, I saw that weathered yet gentle face.

The two survivors and Uncle Liu chatted with each other and told Jiang Fei and others about the situation in Ling Province.
There are many survivors from different countries in Ling Province, all of whom drifted here due to the tsunami.
Originally, they did not bother each other and lived their own lives, but who knew that a contagious virus would appear out of nowhere and sweep across the entire Ling Province.
Once infected, death will occur within three days.
But it only infects humans and not animals.
There was no medicine to treat the disease and no protective equipment, so everyone picked up whatever supplies they could use for protection.
And they gathered together to find out the source of the virus and solve the problem.
After investigation, we found out that this was not a virus, but a mutated bacteria.
It was spread by several survivors from Country R.
So they killed all the survivors of Country R and began to check on each other.
Anyone with fever, vomiting, necrosis of hands and feet, or other symptoms will be kicked out of the team.
After the screening, there were still more than a thousand healthy people.
In order to survive, they went to Hyuncheng, the only unpolluted city.
No survivors have ever been to Hyuncheng, so it is very safe.
They settled here to prevent infected people from coming, sealed every entrance and took turns guarding it.
I have survived until now by digging wild vegetables and hunting.
Uncle Liu looked at Jiang Fei expectantly: "Miss Jiang, have you met my young master and Mr. Mo?"
Jiang Fei nodded and said, "Yan An and Mr. Mo are both at the Huaxia base."
