Chapter 85

Black Yin Mountain.

Deep within the dark mountain ravine lies a naturally formed cave. The entrance is narrow, allowing only one person to pass through at a time, but once inside, it's a completely different world. The cave is several meters high, with a wide and flat floor. On the flat ground, bamboo houses are built. Around the houses, stacks of silver boxes are piled up like mountains.

People wearing long white gowns went in and out, their faces covered with white masks, leaving only holes around their eyes to see.

People kept coming into the cave, carrying tightly tied burlap sacks. At this time, the people in the bamboo house would hear the noise, come out, take the sacks, and go in without saying a word. This was repeated more than ten times. No one knew what was in the sacks.

On the steep slope at the foot of Black Shade Mountain, several men huddled in the back of a dilapidated truck. The cold wind blew against their arms, and even though they had prepared cotton-padded coats, they were still freezing to the bone.

"Damn it, we've worked so hard delivering so many goods to them, and we've never been trusted. Every time we're made to wait outside, it's freezing to death. This Black Yin Mountain is so weird, the temperature is dozens of degrees lower than outside, even a padded coat can't keep out the chill."

"Brother, let's stop complaining. After we finish this job and get the money, we'll take the money and run away with our families. We're not doing this kind of despicable thing anymore." There are at least eight hundred to a thousand children and young people who have passed through their hands. Each one was captured from all over the country based on the data they provided.

Although they didn't know what so many people were for, it was ultimately not a good thing.

These people are all from foreign countries. Although they have never shown their faces and even their hair is carefully hidden under white sterile caps, the skin around their eyes and pupils that are exposed outside their masks are clearly of the same skin color as them. And there are only a few countries with the same skin color as them, so it is easy for them to guess which countries they are from.

Therefore, they know what will happen to these arrested children and young people.

They are not without conscience, but compared to huge financial gains, conscience seems to be less important.

"Have you finished getting your passport?"

"It's done," the bearded man replied. "It was done last week. We can leave now that we've settled the bill."

"Yeah, buy the tickets tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow. Don't bring any from home. Once we get abroad, there are no women left. What's the point of having those old women from the village? They can't do anything but work. They're just bad luck." The young man with the buzz cut said with a stern face, looking disgusted.

"Okay, I'll take care of it." I'll go out and get everything ready first, then go home to pick them up later.

"Shh, coming, coming," the short man who had been silent suddenly spoke up.

Everyone looked toward the entrance to the mountain and, sure enough, saw two men in black with black hoods walking toward them. They quickly got out of the car and stood beside it to wait.

"Tsk, wearing gloves, are they afraid we're poisoned or something?"

"I heard that a lot of things inside are poisonous, so you must have taken precautions against poison."

"Those who hide their true intentions are never good people."

While the group was whispering amongst themselves, the two men quickly stood at the front of the car.

The man on the left took something out of his satchel and handed it over.

The man with the crew cut among the four had his eyes light up, quickly took the item, and bowed repeatedly in gratitude, saying, "Thank you, brother."

"The notice from above states that fifty will be delivered to each of the 6th and 9th of this month, and the goods must be delivered by the 15th of the following month. There must be no errors."

"Yes, yes, yes." The crew-cut man nodded repeatedly in agreement, his mind already racing.

Fifty people, adding up to one hundred, they can get twenty, which is enough to go around.

After watching the two leave, the four returned to the car. "Big brother, they've placed another order. What should we do?"

"Let's quit. We've handled too many things, and I can't take it anymore." We've already decided to buy the tickets, so what's the point of continuing?

The crew-cut man glanced at the man who spoke, "If a person isn't ruthless, their family won't be rich."

The man who had been speaking lowered his head and didn't say anything more, but the gaze from above him lingered for a long time before he looked away. He knew that he also wanted to make money, but recently, for some reason, he always felt that something big was about to happen.

"Brother, I don't feel well..."

"Shut up, Lao Liu. You know my personality. If you drag us down again, you can get out of here. You won't get a single penny this time."

The man fell silent again, no longer speaking, his hands gripping his knees tightly, his anxiety growing stronger.

It was at this moment that the third brother, who was driving, started the car, turned the steering wheel, and drove out of Black Yin Mountain.

No one spoke along the way; perhaps the argument earlier had left everyone with their own thoughts.

As the car drove onto the asphalt road, a black Jeep whizzed past. Lao Liu's gaze remained fixed on the passing vehicles, his mind a jumble of thoughts. Then, the girl in the black Jeep rolled down her window and flashed him a wide smile. That smile intensified his panic. He stared wide-eyed as the two cars drove away in opposite directions, but his eyes remained fixed on the girl. She turned her head and smiled back at him, her eyes crinkling with laughter. But the chill hidden deep within that smile sent shivers down his spine.

"Stop the car, stop the car, quick, turn back, follow that black jeep." Lao Liu suddenly stood up, as if he had been stimulated by something. The second brother, a bearded man, who was in the back of the truck with him, was startled at first, but the next second, he pounced over and covered the man's mouth to control him. "Lao Liu, are you crazy? Our license plate is fake. If we attract attention now, we'll be in trouble."

"Ugh... Let go, let me go!" Old Six struggled in terror, his eyes wide open. That woman... there was something wrong with her. She knew them, she definitely knew them! Her eyes could speak!

"Stop fucking making a fuss, or I'll knock you out, you hear me?" The second brother shook the sixth brother, continuing to suppress him in frustration, but the sixth brother's struggles were so great that the truck bed was shaking.

The front window of the car opened, and the older brother with the crew cut came over and scolded, "Are you two crazy? Do you think we're too comfortable right now? Don't you know where you are? Stop messing around! If you keep making trouble, I'll throw you out."

"Big brother, it wasn't me, it was Lao Liu who went crazy, wasn't it Lao Liu?" Seeing that Lao Liu had calmed down, the bearded man released his hand from his mouth.

Taking a few deep breaths of fresh air, Lao Liu said urgently, "Big Brother, I just saw a girl, the one from that black jeep that passed by. That girl definitely knows us. I saw her glare at us, like she wanted to kill us. Big Brother, you have to believe me, it's true, Big Brother." The crew-cut man rolled his eyes, closed the window, and didn't want to listen to Lao Liu's rambling anymore.

"Tch, I told you, you were just scared. Were you asleep or having a nightmare?" The bearded man sneered as he sat cross-legged.

Lao Liu didn't say anything, but turned his head to look behind him. The black jeep was long gone.

Alright, even if we turn back now, we won't be able to catch them.

That's settled then.

Resigned to his fate, the sixth brother rolled up his cotton-padded coat into a roll and put it under his head.

He needed to rest after a night without anyone else around.

Inside the departing jeep were Yuan Zhuan and his four companions, driven by Wu Tianqing.

"There was a lot of malevolent energy in that car just now; something bad was going to happen." Yuan Sun also saw the dilapidated truck that was almost falling apart. The blue pickup truck was completely blackened by the entanglement. He didn't know what those people had done that caused the malevolent energy to be so dense, like ink.

“Death is a meritorious act,” Yuan Zhuan replied.

"You saw it too? Of course, you can summon evil spirits, how could you not see it?" Yuan Sun admired Yuan Zhuan's methods. Such a young age and such powerful talent. He wondered who her master was and she wouldn't tell him even when asked. It was infuriating.

"Grandmaster, will those people from earlier die today?" Sun Dasheng's talent was average; he could only sense some Yin energy, and nothing more.

Yuan Sun rolled his eyes, not wanting to talk to Sun Dasheng; he was too stupid.

Yuansun Daoist is incredibly talented, and from his youth until now, he's always been surrounded by followers wherever he goes. How come he's so unlucky to have such a disciple? He's been in the sect for twenty years, and his success rate in creating talismans is less than 20%.

"Immediately." As soon as Yuan Zhuan finished speaking, a violent explosion suddenly rang out in front, followed by thick smoke, a fierce wind, and the incessant sound of screeching brakes.

"My God." Sun Dasheng peeked back, unable to believe that retribution had come so quickly.

"Tsk, wasn't that a bit too quick a death?" Yuan Sun muttered softly.

Wu Tianqing: ...

What followed was a series of bizarre conversations.

Bai Jianqiang remained silent and bewildered as always. What were they saying? He didn't understand.

In the villa district of the state capital, a group of uninvited guests arrived at Feng Sanshui's villa.

Feng Shanlang stood beside his elder brother, holding his breath, glaring angrily at the intruder in the hall.

These bastards don't even listen to Boss Jin anymore, are they planning to rebel?

"Feng Sanshui, I heard you recently started a company and it's doing quite well. What, are you planning to turn from the underworld to the legitimate world?" The muscular man at the head of the group, Bai Liang, twirled the dagger in his hand with a mocking expression, tilting his head and looking at Feng Sanshui with disdain.

Feng Sanshui only had twelve underlings, and now six of them had defected to their side. The remaining six were all scoundrels, and even if they joined, they wouldn't consider them worthwhile.

Without his underlings, only a leader like Feng Sanshui could make such a fool of himself.

“Feng Sanshui, kneel down now and promise to resign from your position in Shijie tomorrow. If you do, your big brother will spare your life and that of your stupid brother. Otherwise, hehe, I’ll make sure you don’t see the sun tomorrow morning.”

Feng Sanshui's temples were bulging with veins, his face red with anger. He had been in this position for a long time and hadn't been treated like this, let alone this idiot who was talking big. He was the top dog under Mad Dog.

A surge of energy shot from his chest straight to the top of his head.

"Langzi, how long has it been since we brothers got a good workout?" Feng Sanshui spat and took his wristwatch off his wrist, holding it in his palm.

“It’s been a long time, it’s time to practice.” Feng Shanlang sneered, taking off his coat. “Don’t try to take it from me, I’ll go first.”

Seeing that the two brothers didn't beg for mercy and even dared to make the first move, Bai Liang spat out a mouthful of phlegm and then threw a punch.

The two fought against more than ten people. Although they were good fighters, they still suffered a lot of punches and kicks, and soon their faces were bruised and swollen.

In a fit of rage, Feng Sanshui roared, "Grab your weapons! If you die, it's on me!"

Upon receiving the order, Feng Shanlang crouched down, circled around the encirclement, and dragged out the weapons he had hidden under the sofa cushions, while the others pulled gleaming axes from their belts.

The fight lasted for a long time. Steel rods smashed against human bodies, producing the cracking sound of bones breaking, screams of agony, and furious roars of madmen. The chaotic footsteps were interspersed among the sounds.

The two brothers were perfectly in sync, their offense and defense working together flawlessly. However, manpower was limited, and they ended up sustaining injuries. Bai Liang, as the leader, was the focus of their attention and also suffered several bruises. Feeling humiliated, Bai Liang became increasingly desperate and was about to strike harder when suddenly there was a loud banging on the outer door, accompanied by voices, "Feng Sanshui, what's going on? What are you doing in there? Why are you making so much noise? Feng Sanshui? Are you alright? Feng Sanshui? Something's wrong! Qiqi, quickly call the police and say someone has committed murder here. Lanlan, go and notify security, quick..."

"Feng Sanshui, Feng Shanlang, you two remember this. I'm giving you three days. If Boss Jin doesn't receive your resignation letters, that's the day you two brothers disappear from this world. Let's go." Because the noise was too loud, the neighbors in the other villas had already called the police, and many people had gathered around the yard. Bai Liang didn't dare to continue, otherwise, if they were caught, they probably wouldn't have a good outcome. They were lucky today.

As everyone opened the door and went outside, the onlookers gasped in shock and quickly backed away to make way for them, seeing a group of menacing-looking people rushing out with bloodstains on their clothes.

"My God, are these people crazy? They're committing crimes so brazenly!" They've even come to our home; are these people some kind of desperate criminals?

Some neighbors, imagining what was happening, rushed into the yard, eager to see the scene of the first murder.

With one person taking the lead, the others naturally followed suit, and everyone rushed in to see the truth.

When the chaos subsided, Feng Sanshui and Feng Shanlang were both lying in hospital beds, and the police came to take their statements.

"Brother, shouldn't we recruit more henchmen? We don't have enough men under our command. After Caogen and his gang betrayed us, we only have six men left. They're all useless. If something really happens, they're just good for adding another person to the crew." Feng Shanlang endured the pain, barely able to turn over.

Feng Shanlang broke six ribs, and the bone in his kneecap was cracked. He couldn't even get out of bed and walk. He admired himself for fighting so hard with his broken bones. He only realized he was broken after he left.

Feng Sanshui, whose head was completely wrapped in gauze, didn't speak. He turned his head with difficulty and looked at Feng Shanlang, "When my master comes back, I'll deal with him."

"Master has gone out on business and his return date is uncertain." Feng Shanlang also wanted to find someone to smooth things over, but the situation was urgent.

“We’ve done our best. Have Chen Que come over to the company and deliver a message to Manager Cao, saying that Tenth Street is going to be occupied and we need help.” Both of his wrists are broken, so only Feng Shanlang can help him make a phone call.

Upon hearing the news over the phone, Cao Ming, representing Yuan's security, stood up coldly from the sofa. "Fine, I'll handle it. Let them wait!"
