When she opened her eyes and found that the scene in front of her was the real world, Shi Yin thought for a moment that this must be her dream.
After all, she seems to have sacrificed herself and merged with the World Tree. Since she has become the world, how could she possibly come back to this world with a real body?
Shi Yin cannot see; what she knows and feels is the world. She can sense every corner of the world, but she cannot open her eyes in a truly physical sense.
But now, she truly opened her eyes and saw the ceiling above the room.
If Shion had seen the bed curtains in the dormitory, her thoughts at that moment would probably have been: everything she had done was probably a long and false dream, and now, the nightmare was finally over.
However, everything before her told Shi Yin that things were not so simple.
At least Shi Yin had never lived in these exquisitely retro-style roof beams in her entire life. The birdsong made the surroundings even quieter. Through the intricately patterned windows, Shi Yin could see the artificial hills and green trees.
Does time travel even exist in this world?
If one day Earth claims to have traveled through time, that would be terrifying. What would happen to the people on board?
This body seemed very stiff and sluggish. It took Shi Yin a lot of effort to even get out of bed. Shi Yin could feel the vast and calm power within her body, as well as the feeling of being one with the world.
Every flower and blade of grass in this world is her body, and she can manipulate them with ease.
But what's going on now?
Shi Yin leaned against the wall, trying to adapt to her body, and slowly sat down on the threshold.
Once outside, Shi Yin was even more bewildered.
This is a scene I've never seen before. It's neither my familiar home nor my familiar school. The scenery is beautiful, and every flower and blade of grass seems to have been designed. There are even red carp swimming in the pond.
The sunlight shone down, outlining her silhouette, and Shi Yin looked somewhat bewildered.
This looks like a traditional courtyard house.
This is definitely not a dream; it's what happened later. After all, her parents could never live in a courtyard house like this, no matter how hard they tried their whole lives.
"Miss!"
A cool voice rang out from not far away. Shi Yin looked up and saw Nan Zhu standing at the door, carrying bags of various fruits and vegetables.
The bag slipped, scattering the fruit inside all over the ground. A round apple rolled to her feet with a "plop," making Shi Yin feel a little dazed.
"Miss, you're awake!" Nan Zhu rushed forward, seemingly wanting to support Shi Yin, but was suddenly struck on the arm by an unknown force, leaving a red mark on her fair skin.
"Don't touch it, or you'll be responsible if you break it?" Helmod appeared out of nowhere, a small machine in his hand emitting a constant red light. He was quite surprised to see her: "It can wake up like this?"
Shi Yin leaned against the door frame, still feeling that the body was extremely stiff.
She was able to think, but even she couldn't figure out what was going on. She was fast asleep when she suddenly woke up to a reality she had never seen before.
"Miss is awake. I'll go inform the others." Nan Zhu said, leaving without even picking up the fruit on the ground, and hurriedly walked towards the door.
“Take it easy. It’s just that the body has woken up.” Helmud tossed the detector in his hand regretfully. “Whether the one who woke up is the Shiyin we know is another matter.”
"What do you mean?" Nan Zhu didn't understand.
"In terms of probability and logic, the body that has just awakened should be without self-awareness. It only woke up because I am more powerful. After all, this body is perfect from top to bottom."
Helmod patted his chest smugly, it was hard to tell whether he was explaining something or just boasting.
"As for why this clone was able to reach the door, it's probably because of phototaxis. After all, most creatures have an inexplicable longing for sunlight and warmth, especially the sunlight in our post-apocalyptic world—it's so comfortable..."
"What...are you talking about?" Shi Yin admitted that she was already dizzy from being turned around.
With a wave of her hand, the apple on the ground flew up into the air and landed in her palm.
It's cool to the touch; it's a normal fruit.
The power is there; it's not an illusion or a dream. It really isn't her problem.
The world suddenly became quiet.
It seems that after Tokine asked that question, the other two never spoke again.
Helmod's brain buzzed. He wondered if he had misheard. The tone and expression were exactly the same as he remembered.
The clone he created is so powerful? He hasn't even had time to infuse it with memories yet. Logically speaking, it's just an unconscious body without memories right now.
Helmod stiffly lowered his head, just in time to meet a pair of clear eyes, filled with familiar inquiry and doubt, just like Shi Yin had stood beside him countless times when he was fiddling with his little things, watching quietly and curiously.
"Quickly, go and invite the Prime Minister here!!" Helmod shouted.
Shi Yin: "?"
A period of chaos ensued.
No one dared to call the medical team. Instead, they asked Helmod for help, and a few of them privately examined Shi Yin.
The result was both unexpected and not unexpected.
There's nothing there. Shi Yin is just a normal person, except that she still retains her original superpower. However, for Shi Yin, it's not a superpower; it has become an ability that she already possesses.
"Y-you, how did you get back?" Helmod stammered, "You're Shion, right? You're not some zombie who stole my memories, you're not some monster, are you?"
"Are there still monsters in this world?" Shi Yin began to doubt herself after being questioned by the people in front of her.
All those abnormal monster groups in this world should have been wiped out by now, is there anything that has been missed?
"So, how did you get back?" Several hours had passed since the inspection was completed, and the commander-in-chief still felt his hands trembling.
Although I've made up my mind to settle scores with Shi Yin when she returns and make her pay, I still need to show the child the care and concern I deserve before that happens.
"Didn't you summon me?" Shi Yin vaguely recalled something: "You cloned an exact copy of me, and the original genetic sequence resonated strongly with the world... Rather than saying I came back to life, it's more accurate to say I descended."
"Sister! You scared me to death! I thought you were dead and would never come back!" Freya hugged Shi Yin and burst into tears.
Lin Beiyue also hugged Shi Yin's waist. Fortunately, Nan Zhu had the foresight to take out a tissue and hand it to Lin Beiyue, otherwise Lin Beiyue's snotty face would probably have been smeared all over Shi Yin.

Even so, this theory is so fantastical that it doesn't feel real at all.
