The claw had pierced its eyeball, leaving a hideous wound that was now protruding outwards, and blood was still dripping onto the polished floor of the veterinary clinic.
Even though it was seriously injured, the dog still endured the pain without making a sound, just hanging its tail, breathing heavily, with no light in its eyes, as if it were a pool of stagnant water.
