Xuanqing was curled up in bed, fast asleep.
Su Li patted the round cat's head, not paying any attention to the cat's laziness in bed, and turned to leave the room.
The cat is very sleepy, and since it doesn't need to run around outside these days, it's started to stay in bed longer in the mornings.

After she finished asking, Qi Zhi waited a while before the phone rang again. He seemed very anxious, his voice was heavy with breath, but his mood was good, and he sounded very cheerful.
"Oh, that? It's nothing, Sister Su Li. That's because the base is starting to build the second ring of residential areas. You should be able to see it from the mountain. Then she glanced at the thermometer on the bedside table and quickly frowned slightly; the temperature had already dropped below zero!

No wonder, when she slept, the blankets on the bed felt cold, and only the spot next to Xuanqing was a little warm.
Thinking this, Su Li got out of bed, changed into her "work clothes," and then went to the kitchen to boil a kettle of water.
Xuan Qing opened his eyes when Su Li got up. He watched Su Li's movements, opened his mouth and yawned widely, then got up and stretched, and jumped off the bed to follow her to the kitchen.
