Chapter 19 “It’s called Mimi.”

Su Li didn't keep any of the food she found at the beauty salon; instead, she gave it all to Qi Zhi.

Qi Zhi always carried a half-bulging backpack on his back, and no one knew what was inside.

But Su Li felt that there should be at least some food.

She already has a fair amount of food in her storage space, so there's no need to fight him for it now.

Su Li did not eat dinner with Qi Zhi.

Although they both seem to want to team up, they are not familiar with each other and have not yet made a clear intention to team up, so there is no need to be so enthusiastic.

However, before returning to her room, Su Li threw Qi Zhi a bottle of alcohol, cotton swabs, and a box of bandages.

The little black cat didn't hold back its attack on Qi Zhi while in the car, so some of the wounds were quite deep and looked rather frightening.

"There's no vaccine left. Use this alcohol to treat and disinfect your wounds. If you get rabies and start going crazy like the zombies outside, I'll just chop you up!"

After Su Li finished speaking, she looked at the boy who was still standing there dumbfounded.

Actually, what she didn't say was that before the cat scratched him, it had also scratched a zombie in the mall with its claws.

Although the cat mostly kicked the zombie, it was only when it finally slammed the zombie downstairs that it grabbed the zombie's neck, and it's uncertain whether its claws pierced the zombie's flesh.

But it's better to be safe than sorry.

If the claw pierces the zombie's neck, and the claw is contaminated with the virus from the zombie's flesh and blood, and then scratches it again, that would be dangerous.

Fortunately, judging from the memories in Su Li's brain, people infected with the zombie virus will mutate completely within 20 minutes to 2 hours.

More than half an hour had passed since they arrived at the mall, including the time they spent killing the zombies on the sidewalk.

But this boy showed no signs of mutation, so the possibility of him being infected was probably not high.

Even so, we still need to be careful.

It's not yet the end of the zombie virus incubation period. To be safe, it will take at least another two hours!

After handing out the alcohol swabs, Su Li turned to go back inside, but as she reached the door, she suddenly stopped, remembered something, and turned to look at Qi Zhi:

"Oh, and don't make any loud noises while you sleep at night. Also, my name is Su Li."

She then pointed to the black cat at her feet: "Its name is Mimi."

Xuan Qing, who was squatting on the ground, was curiously examining this mortal boy:

"???"

"Meow?"

It immediately looked up at Zuli in protest, "Who called me Mimi?! Mimi what?! What Mimi?!"

But Su Li didn't understand its sudden agitation. Instead, she frowned and said, "Shh—if you bark again, I'll throw you out!"

Xuanqing: "!"

Ugh! This is so annoying! Would you really want this tacky and unimpressive name?!

Unfortunately, before it could finish fuming, Su Li had already dragged it back into the house.

After returning to her room, Su Li put the cat on the ground, locked the door, and then poured some water for the cat.

After she finished, she squatted down, pointed her fingertip at the top of the black cat's head, and whispered:

"Be good and don't move around. I'll go get some hot water. I need to wash the dirt off you. Otherwise, with the blood of those monsters on you, you won't be able to lick your fur."

Zuli was now convinced that the cat could understand her.

She looked into the black cat's big eyes, which resembled the ripples of seawater, and then reached out to scratch its little black chin.

The gentle touch of the fingertips captivated the cat, and Xuanqing squinted its eyes in comfort.

But in just two seconds, he immediately realized what was happening!

What are you doing?! He's a demon cat who's cultivated himself into a demon!

How can one be so captivated by the comfort of a mere mortal!

However, before he could refuse, the mortal stopped first.

Su Li stood up and looked around. The first two rooms of the beauty studio were essentially two small suites.

Each room has its own small bathroom with a large wooden tub, presumably for customers to take medicinal baths.

On the wall next to the bathroom, there is a double-door cabinet that is integrated with the wall.

Inside the cabinet were several stacks of brand-new towels, bath towels, and large bags of facial cleansing towels used in beauty salons!

Su Li looked around the room and finally removed the doors from two cabinets.

Of course, she also put away all the unopened toiletries in the cabinet.

Then she entered the space, closing the cabinet door behind her.

As soon as she entered, she took out an axe and smashed the two cabinet doors to pieces.

Then she rummaged through the supplies in the cabin and found a large stainless steel double-handled pot.

She filled a pot with stream water, lit firewood underneath, and began to boil the water.

Once she felt the water was at the right temperature, she poured it into another basin and started boiling another pot of water in the stainless steel pot.

Then Su Li took the pot of boiled water out of the space, and also took some cool water from the stream.

After mixing the boiled water with the stream water and adjusting the temperature, Su Li carried the cat to the small bathroom in the room and began to bathe the black cat.

The cat had been wandering outside for who knows how long, and it was already very dirty. Today, when it was killing zombies at the intersection, it got splattered with blood from the zombies, which made its fur all matted.

Su Li felt fortunate that the cat was smart enough to know not to lick its fur, otherwise it might have turned into a mutant animal by now!

Of course, it's also possible that it's just lazy!
