The wholesale market is very quiet at night.
Su Li kept watch for the first half of the night, but didn't hear any noise outside.
Around 1 a.m., she checked her watch and prepared to wake Qi Zhi to relieve her.
Before she could move, Lin Dong, who had been unconscious, stirred.
Upon hearing the sound, the black cat sleeping beside Su Li immediately opened its eyes.
