Destroy the energy base station

Destroy the energy base station

The entire building was very quiet. Jiang Lin's boots made a tapping sound on the floor, which seemed a bit abrupt in this environment.

The fear in my heart amplified the sound, but fortunately the Homo sapiens didn't notice anything, their eyes were all fixed on the computer.

Jiang Lin and Wen Yan safely approached a place similar to a stairwell. When there were no Homo sapiens around, she put her hand on the door switch.

He pulled it, but it didn't budge. Apparently the door was locked, Jiang Lin glanced back at Wen Yan.

The two men moved their position and headed towards the elevator, but this time they were not so lucky as they seemed to have attracted the attention of some Homo sapiens.

"Why aren't you at your workstations?" An electronic voice rang out from behind. Jiang Lin turned stiffly and saw a Homo sapiens in a suit and tie behind him.

His eyes scanned the two of them from top to bottom in a strange manner.

Until the identification result in front of him was green, the supervisor Zhiren spoke again: "It's working time, please return to your workstations." He explained to the two of them.

Jiang Lin glanced around and saw a few vacant positions. It was probably because the original Homo sapiens had temporarily left their posts.

She walked over and sat down on the cold chair. The supervisor, Zhiren, left with satisfaction and continued to inspect the floor.

"This is my seat." The intelligent man who had left to recharge had just returned and saw that his workstation was occupied. He was so anxious that he circled around Jiang Lin.

Fearing she would attract the attention of the supervisor robot, Jiang Lin immediately stood up and offered her seat to him. Wen Yan quickly came to her side. The two of them dodged the supervisor robot and reached the elevator.

I stepped into the elevator again, and it was empty.

Jiang Lin took out the laser, drilled a circular hole in the elevator's roof, and threw a rope through it to secure it. The two of them climbed to the top of the elevator one after another.

Jiang Lin moved her fingers nervously. They were now several floors below. She took off the rope, threw it up, and climbed up along the rope.

The two of them quickly arrived at the energy base station floor.

Jiang Lin simply pried open the elevator door and calmly walked out. There were no Homo sapiens to be seen here, only a vast expanse of servers and power supplies stretching to the bottom.

There were cameras everywhere on the ceiling, and she and Wen Yan moved to a corner.

"Does 110 have anything that can destroy the surveillance, or make it ignore our equipment?" Jiang Lin asked from the corner. If they rashly destroyed this place, the Homo sapiens would probably rush over and kill them in the next second.

"Yes, I can call two for you."

Two black buttons appeared in Jiang Lin's palms. She pinned one on herself and the other on Wen Yan: "Don't take them off to avoid surveillance."

Wen Yan tacitly didn't ask her where the things came from.

With this black button, Jiang Lin patrolled the floor. It was obviously impossible to destroy them one by one. She had to find the key servers and power supplies and directly destroy the entire system.

Inside the pitch-black energy station, there were only spots of light emitted by the servers and power supplies. To prevent the equipment from overheating, the temperature inside was also very low. Jiang Lin felt like he had entered a morgue.

"Click, click."

Jiang Lin heard a subtle sound with her sharp ears. She pulled Wen Yan and quickly hid behind the server. A Homo sapiens suddenly appeared in the darkness.

With a gun in his hand, he walked around a few steps in confusion: "No suspicious people found, no suspicious people found." The Homo sapiens muttered to himself.

Jiang Lin touched his chest and was glad that he reacted quickly, otherwise he would have been shot dead.

Sheng Wei and Xie Anran were assigned to a small energy station in the south. There were not many Homo sapiens here. Sheng Wei was observing with a telescope on a small hill not far away.

"What do you think, should we bomb them directly or shoot them with machine guns?" Sheng Wei put down the telescope and asked while holding the bombs and machine gun.

Xie Anran was stunned for a second, and suddenly his brain was like an electric shock, and two scenes emerged in his mind.

In the first scene, Sheng Wei threw the bomb at the energy station, but the explosion range was too large and two people were killed.

In the second picture, they chose to rush in directly with machine guns. Since the bodies of the Homo sapiens were too tough, the bullets would bounce back, and they had a hard time fighting. In the end, Sheng Wei threw a bomb and died together with the Homo sapiens.

Xie Anran broke out in a cold sweat: "Can I choose neither?"

Sheng Wei looked at her suspiciously: "What's wrong? Are you scared?"

"I see that if bombs are used, we will be affected and killed here. If machine guns are used, we can't fight them, and then we will be killed even if we throw bombs." Xie Anran wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

When she looked up again, she found Sheng Wei staring at her without blinking: "Can you really predict the future? It's amazing."

Xie Anran was worried that Sheng Wei would not believe her and had already made preparations on how to stop her. Unexpectedly, Sheng Wei believed her directly and kept looking at her curiously.

"If bombs and machine guns don't work, how are we going to destroy the base station?" Sheng Wei was a little troubled. She usually solved problems with force.

Now these two commonly used methods no longer work, and I can’t think of a way to break the deadlock.

"We used the most traditional method. We sneaked in and destroyed the power system and servers," said Xie Anran.

"Then let's set off now and don't let Jiang Lin and the others wait anxiously." Sheng Wei is a person who is very time-conscious, and she doesn't want to be the last one to arrive at the meeting point.

"I think Jiang Lin might not be that fast. The base stations she faces are the most difficult and complex."

As they talked, they headed towards the small base station.

In the central building, Jiang Lin and Wen Yan were still shuttling through the servers, and finally they saw a special room with airtight metal walls on all sides.

The door was locked tightly and looked like a place where important things were kept.

Jiang Lin tried to fix the lock on the door, but the equipment in her hand could not open such a high-end door.

"What should I do?" She turned around and looked at Wen Yan irritably.

"Shh, it seems someone is coming." Wen Yan pulled her to the side. In the dark environment, the two saw several Homo sapiens slowly coming towards this direction.

After the Homo sapiens took a quick look around to make sure it was safe, one of them began to unlock the door using his authority. The moment the door opened, Jiang Lin used an extremely tiny ice spike to get stuck in the crack of the door.

The door was not completely closed, but these Homo sapiens seemed to have something important to do and did not notice this.

Jiang Lin breathed a sigh of relief, and she and Wen Yan slowly approached the magical room.

"Lord God, a small energy station has experienced a power outage for unknown reasons, and we can't contact that small base station." A Homo sapiens said something respectfully.

Jiang Lin listened in confusion, wondering if these Homo sapiens had a chief god with supreme authority.

"A few rats have sneaked in among us, and they are eating away at our energy base station." Jiang Lin heard a female voice. Compared to the electronic voice of Homo sapiens, her voice was much closer to that of a human.

But the slight sound of electric current in the middle could not hide the fact that she was a robot.

"Rats? Humans! Have humans sneaked in?" Homo sapiens was puzzled and asked in disbelief.

"Yes, you actually let humans sneak into the new city." The female voice continued. She was very intelligent, and Jiang Lin could even hear from her tone that she was very angry.

"We will immediately start capturing those damn humans. We will never let them pollute our new city." The Homo sapiens said firmly, preparing to leave the room.

Jiang Lin and Wen Yan immediately slipped aside.

After all the intelligent people had left, she felt a little conflicted: "Should we go in?" She leaned close to Wen Yan's ear and whispered. The level of danger here was beyond Jiang Lin's imagination.

There's actually a robot more advanced than these Homo sapiens. If they don't go in, slowly destroying the main equipment is also an option.

But the risk was too high, and failing to destroy a few of them would surely attract the attention of Homo sapiens. No matter which option they chose, their situation was dangerous.

Sheng Wei and Xie Anran had a relatively smooth journey. Thanks to Xie Anran's predictive ability, they were the first team to complete the task of destroying the base station.

Sheng Wei also placed a time bomb in the energy base station. When they drove to a safe distance, the bomb would explode, leaving no chance for the Homo sapiens to recover.

"Your predictive ability is really useful. Why don't you predict the situation on Jiang Lin's side?" Sheng Wei was a little worried. So far, there was some news from every team, but Jiang Lin's side was particularly quiet, as if he had disappeared.

Xie Anran nodded. She had the same idea. Recently, she had gradually mastered this ability of foresight. At first, she could only trigger it passively, but now she could use her willpower to actively check.

But after using this ability, she will become very tired.

Xie Anran closed her eyes and saw a horrifying scene: a giant computer in a confined space, and Jiang Lin and Wen Yan surrounded by Homo sapiens.

But she didn't see the end.

"How is it?" Sheng Wei saw her pale face and her inner alarm bells rang. Could it be that her bad words were right? Could Jiang Lin really be in danger?

"Drive towards them quickly, they are in danger!" Xie Anran shouted.

Sheng Wei stepped on the accelerator to the bottom. This speed completely exceeded the regulations of the Homo sapiens New City and quickly attracted the attention of the Homo sapiens police.

Some UFOs with horns honking slowly appeared near them.

Many vehicles that were driving normally on the road collided with each other because of a car that was running around recklessly, and the road became uncontrollable.

"You have seriously violated the traffic laws of Xincheng. Please stop immediately, otherwise we will bomb your vehicle."

Sheng Wei's eyes were red, and he continued to rush forward regardless of anything.

Xie Anran grabbed the steering wheel and forced the car to a stop.

Alarms blared throughout their neighborhood.

The Homo sapiens with machine guns quickly surrounded them.

Sheng Wei and Xie Anran got out of the car reluctantly at the urging of the police officer.
