Under the Song Valley, in the intricate dark passages.
Four gigantic ethereals were crawling slowly and cautiously on the wall.
The three eyes on each instance, burning with a faint yellow light, rolled around, as if searching for something.
Suddenly, two purple-black energy waves, similar in color to the void, shot out from a distance, illuminating the space and accurately hitting the void spirit in the front.
The corrupted plasma easily shattered its chitinous shell and hit the beating core hidden beneath its hardest skull.
The leading Void Spirit was killed instantly, and the remaining three Void Spirits stuck out their throats full of sharp teeth, let out sharp hissing screams, and looked towards the depths of the passage, looking as if they were facing a great enemy.
Immediately afterwards, a petite humanoid figure covered with purple-black skin and with two huge cheek pouches on its shoulders that emitted a purple glow, almost indistinguishable from a void monster, rushed out from the darkness.
"One!" A girl's somewhat unclear voice came from under the mask.
She clenched her fists and aimed them at one of the Void Spirits, and the purple spiked lens suspended in front of her hands fired several hot purple energy light bullets in succession.
The first few energy bullets failed to shatter the chitinous shell of the phantom at once, but as the remaining bullets hit it cumulatively, the remaining energy plasma was recharged and activated, and it exploded instantly, making it silent.
"two!"
The girl's actions angered the remaining two Hollow Spirits, which were larger than her.
They let out a roar similar to "anger", kicked the wall with their four arthropod legs, and pounced on the girl at high speed.
However, Xu Ling's actions played into the girl's hands.
As the purple-black skin squirmed, she felt a tingling sensation in her body.
But in less than a heartbeat, her whole body was filled with strength.
The girl slid under the two phantoms that were rushing towards her, and the crystals on her hands fired several light bullets in succession, at a much faster speed than before.
After exchanging positions with the two ethereals, the girl quickly stood up, the cheek pouch scales on her shoulders contracted, and the purple crystals scattered a scorching purple light.
Before the Void Spirit could react, several turbulent plasma projectiles were launched from the continuously heating crystals, swirling in the air for several circles. After they came into contact with them, the instantaneous explosion melted most of its body.
The girl looked at the four lifeless spirits lying on the ground, half-retracted the cheek pouches on her shoulders, and couldn't help but bend her waist and support her knees, breathing heavily.
In order to hunt down the lone ones, she spent three days planning.
From shedding the blood of their own humans to lure them, to predicting their paths of movement, and finally ambushing and hunting them.
There is no backup plan, no way out.
If the hunt fails, the only fate that awaits the girl is death.
Because during these three days, she did not consume any energy to nourish the active skin on her body.
The second skin's desire to devour has affected her thinking and has even begun to backfire on her body.
Fortunately, the plan went smoothly.
The girl could no longer bear the burning pain in her body. She immediately retracted the energy crystals in her fists and staggered towards the nearest ethereal corpse.
Without hesitation, she reached into the insect's sticky and corrosive shell and quickly pulled out a beating core that was almost as big as her head.
These insects, which could barely be called "living things," actually had no intelligence of their own, so she didn't have any psychological burden.
Everything is for survival...
The girl took a deep breath. As the second skin on her body began to wriggle, the void core she held in her hands was rapidly shrinking and was being swallowed by the void skin that coexisted with her.
As a large amount of energy was injected into her body, she couldn't help but let out a comfortable hum.
For a young girl, two Void Spirits can sustain her for about a week, provided she does not use the living weapons evolved in her body.
The amount of living skin that can be absorbed is limited, and the energy of the two virtual spirit cores is currently the limit of what she can absorb.
As for the remaining two Void Cores, the girl planned to keep them as backups.
Anyway, in such an environment, their energy dissipates very slowly, and it will take at least two weeks to be completely exhausted.
The girl quickly devoured the core of the other void spirit and dug out the core of the void spirit next to it.
When she ran to the first Void Spirit she had killed to check the situation, her good mood of killing the prey and reaping the rewards was instantly shattered.
Being hit by the most powerful void vibration wave emitted by its own cheek pouch, it directly injured the core of this void spirit, causing it to be severely damaged and basically no longer worth devouring.
"Damn it! I shouldn't have used 'Void Search'. Now I have to think about my next hunt as soon as possible."
Void Seeker is the name the girl gave to her recently evolved cheek pouches that can fire two void vibration plasmas.
It has an extremely long range and powerful force, capable of shattering a Hollow's hard chitinous shell with almost a single strike.
The girl sighed a little frustratedly, "It's okay, Kassa. We always have to hunt anyway..."
She whispered to herself to comfort herself.
In this environment where there are no living people around and only terrifying and twisted monsters, Kassadin has long developed the habit of comforting himself and maintaining an optimistic attitude.
Otherwise, this narrow, claustrophobic, dark and lightless underground environment alone would be enough to torture her spirit to madness.
