Chapter 201 Void Symbiosis Problem

Caitlin had many cases on hand and had no time to accompany Li Lin and Kaisa to Piltover University.

Li Lin put on power armor and took Kassa to the academy near Star Avenue.

Today, in addition to studying the problem of the void skin on Kaisa, he has other plans.

The technology tree of smart chip Li Lin has been pointed out.

Half a year has passed, and he doesn't know whether Heimerdinger has developed an alternative smart chip.

In addition, he also plans to use the cutting-edge equipment in the college laboratory to study how to install a propulsion device on the power armor.

The design drawings are available, and Li Lin drew them as early as in the Shurima Desert.

But theory is just theory after all, not to mention that this technology was derived by him by referring to Iron Man's Mark armor, so it is not certain whether it can be successful in reality.

Even if it doesn't work out for the time being, he won't be disappointed, it just takes a little longer.

[Skill Panel] There is "Ion Thruster" technology in the Combat category, but it requires him to upgrade to level 45 and unlock the "Particle Control" theory in the Inventor category first.

Li Lin is currently level 39. If he can produce all the high-quality devices that have not yet been manufactured and can provide skill points, he estimates that he can reach around level 42-43.

There is no way to upgrade through combat while staying in the Twin Cities.

If it really gets stuck at this point, we either have to continue to come up with new designs, or wait until next year to go to Demacia and help Prince Jarvan escape from Noxus' pursuit to unlock the "flying" technology.

Accompanied by the strange and curious looks of passers-by along the way, Li Lin and Kassa quickly arrived at the academy.

Heimerdinger is a tech geek. Except for holding council meetings, he stays in school almost all the time, never leaving.

Li Lin learned last night that Madam Kalina was planning to hold a parliamentary meeting this weekend, so Heimerdinger must be in school today, but the question was where exactly.

Fortunately, a student he stopped saw that Heimerdinger had just arrived at the laboratory, which saved him some time.

When they arrived at the laboratory door, since their previous passes had been taken back, they could only ask the staff to notify Heimerdinger.

Li Lin and Kasa waited in the waiting room for a few minutes. With a slight knock on the door, before he saw anyone come in, the familiar sharp voice came into the room.

"Oh, look who's back?"

Following the voice, a Yordle, less than half the height of the door and covered with yellow furry hair, walked in.

Following behind him was a young man with a middle-parted hair, a very thin body, a bad complexion, and a cane in his hand.

"May the gears turn forward, Professor Heimerdinger, Viktor." Li Lin immediately stood up, unfolded his mask and greeted them.

Heimerdinger waved his hand, "Hey, no need to be so polite with me."

"You're finally back, Li Lin." Victor responded with a smile.

Li Lin walked up with a smile and shook hands with Heimerdinger, then hugged Viktor.

Kassa didn't understand what they were talking about, so she just stood up from her chair, her two small hands covered with scales tangled together in front of her body.

Both Heimerdinger and Viktor noticed that this little girl was obviously not from Shurima and was wearing a layer of strange purple armor.

Victor glanced past Li Lin and looked at Kassa. He couldn't help but ask, "Who is this?"

Heimerdinger's brow furrowed, and he blew at his beard. A hint of doubt and seriousness flashed across his eyes. "This color, and the aura of energy... could it be the Void?!"

"The Void? It sounds familiar. I think I've seen it in a book somewhere... What is that?"

Victor raised an eyebrow. It was rare that there was something he didn't know.

Li Lin was also surprised by this. "You... also know about the void?"

"How could I not know about this?" Heimerdinger puffed his beard, his voice becoming deeper. "Thousands of years ago, when I, as a scholar from Bandle City, visited the former Shurima Empire, the Void War hadn't even ended yet!"

At this point, Victor finally remembered that the main reason for the decline of the Shurima Empire was the Void.

However, a new question emerged in his mind.

Gu Li

"...Huh?" Victor scratched his cheek, his tone a little uncertain. "But didn't you say before that you were only over two hundred years old?"

"Oh, that's what you're talking about." Heimerdinger looked up at him. "Actually, that's based on Bandle City's years. Converted into your human years, I should be several thousand... uh, that's too long. Let me calculate it carefully."

As he spoke, Heimerdinger took out a small notebook and a hard-cover pen from his pocket.

"Ahem, professor, let me first tell you about her situation."

Li Lin turned around and waved to Kassa, asking her to come over to him. He first introduced the two of them to her:

"This is Professor Heimerdinger, and this is my friend Viktor. He's an outstanding scientist. They can help you solve the problem with this skin."

"May the gears turn forward..." She greeted them in a somewhat unstandard Piltover greeting.

"Please forgive me, Kai'Sa is new here and doesn't understand Piltover language very well."

Li Lin's gaze returned to Heimerdinger, who had stopped what he was doing, and Viktor, and he introduced them: "Her name is Kai'Sa, and her hometown is the Valley of Songs in the southeast of Shurima."

"Singing Valley? I once heard one of my... uh, students, talk about it."
