Chapter 218 I prefer to call it a computer

Caitlin curled her lips and snorted at Li Lin, "It's you... If it were someone else, would I be so worried?"

She noticed the smile on Li Lin's face and realized what he was going to say next. Before he could say anything, she added, "Except my parents."

"Don't blame me for interrupting you kids. I want to ask, what exactly happened?" Seeing that the two of them were reluctant to separate for a long time, Heimerdinger blew his beard and couldn't help asking.

"Judging from your appearance, it should be solved." Victor smiled and shook his head.

Li Lin held Caitlin's hand, his eyes passed over everyone and focused on Valentina in the distance.

Then he withdrew his gaze, swept over Viktor and Skye, and finally lowered his head to stop at Heimerdinger.

"I've destroyed Nocturne," Li Lin said, "but he's the embodiment of human emotion. I can't completely destroy him."

Skye's face showed worry. "So...will that guy come back to see Professor Zindeiro sooner or later?"

"I'm not sure how long it will take for it to revive, but it probably won't target Professor Zindero anymore."

Li Lin paused and said solemnly, "Professor Heimerdinger, you should know that there are still many demons in this world, right?"

Heimerdinger pondered for a moment. "They are the embodiment of the emotions of living beings, especially the leader of the ten demons... Revealing their true names only works on other demons, but for the embodiment of an ancient fear, doing so will only attract it."

He shared some new knowledge with Caitlin, mainly Victor and Skye.

"We should research a device that can be used to seal the demons and prevent them from causing trouble." Victor guessed what Li Lin was thinking and said immediately.

"But... I don't think that's realistic." Heimerdinger shook his head. "The Nightmare was born only a thousand years ago, but even then, a group of mages working together can only barely seal it within the spiritual realm. If magic is so limited, technology is even more impossible."

Li Lin smiled and said, "But I think we can turn the impossible into the possible."

Without waiting for Heimerdinger to say anything, he walked over to the workbench, picked up a pen and a piece of paper, and began to write and draw on it quickly.

Caitlyn, Heimerdinger, Viktor, and Skye gathered around at the same time.

Heimerdinger brought over a stool and stood on it. He could see what he was drawing. "Kid, what are you doing?"

Li Lin didn't reply.

After more than ten minutes, two drawings were completed, which were very standard without the use of a ruler and with the data proportions exactly correct.

"This diagram shows the smart chip concept I proposed to you over half a year ago. I've already developed it."

"Um?!"

Heimerdinger widened his eyes, quickly "grabbed" the blueprint from Li Lin's hand, and looked at it carefully for dozens of seconds.

"Great! Great! So this is where my problem lies..." He raised his head and looked at Li Lin in surprise. "Son, how did you research and design this?"

"That's something else."

Li Lin handed him the second drawing.

"I designed a device based on the 'intelligent brain' concept you proposed earlier. Through it, I designed the intelligent chip."

Li Lin smiled slightly. "However, I prefer to call it a computer, or even a computer."
