Modmore took Li Lin and Kasa through their workshop and into another smaller reception room.
Li Lin looked around. Although the room was small, it had everything he needed.
A slightly old but very clean sofa is surrounded by a small transparent coffee table.
A mural by an unknown artist depicting a sunset over the Piltover Canyon hangs on the whitewashed walls.
From the artist's perspective, it should be Zaun's dance corridor.
Clairana made tea and brought it to the table, then sat next to her husband. Li Lin sat opposite the couple, while Seraphine and Kassadin sat on the sofa on the other side.
"My name is Maud Moore, and this is my wife, Clairana. As you can see, we're technicians repairing Hex Audio."
Modmore quickly introduced themselves and said, "Our house is too shabby, so we'll have to trouble you two to make do with it."
"It's okay. When I was a handyman in a watch repair shop a year ago, my conditions in all aspects were not even one-tenth of yours." Li Lin said in an indifferent tone.
“Have you also worked as a handyman?”
Modmore, who never paid much attention to newspapers and media reports, was naturally extremely surprised by this news.
"Last week, I heard from Mrs. Anita from the clothing store next door that Mr. Li Lin seemed to have said at the Evolution Day Conference that he had just come to the city from Ionia and had been working as a handyman while learning about mechanics for the past few years.

Maudmore and Clarana took a deep breath and looked at each other.

Seraphine clutched the pendant on her chest, recalling when she met Li Lin and went home to tell her parents the news. They simply didn't believe that such a good thing could happen.
She wanted to defend Li Lin, but she also understood that her parents were only thinking about her.
Besides, they work hard, and Seraphine doesn't want to cause them trouble, so she keeps all these things deep in her heart.
During the two weeks after the Evolution Day, Li Lin never came to see her, and Seraphine thought he was just joking.
Fortunately, Mrs. Anita next door heard that something big was going on at Piltover University, and the chief designer was Li Lin.
She then realized that perhaps Li Lin was too busy to find her, and she still had some hope in her heart.
Today, Li Lin brought Kaisa to visit his parents in person, and Seraphine was completely relieved.
However, Seraphine was somewhat dissatisfied with his parents' distrust of him.
But out of her parents' teachings and courtesy, she did not interrupt.
Then, Modmore took the lead and asked cautiously, "Excuse me...what exactly do you want to see my daughter about?"
