"Hey~~Clara, it looks like I win again this time!"
"You fat bastard, you just love to bully me!" The short-haired, non-mainstream girl called Clara by the fat guy cried out in dismay. She shook the half-shaved-headed man beside her and said, "Woo~~ Edwin, look at Orsen!"
"Alright, alright, little darling, I'll help you win the chess piece back!"
As he spoke, Edwin glared at the fat man across the table, then turned to look at the white-haired girl Kai who was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.
"Kai, lend me three Tyrian stones."
Kai still had that world-weary "dead fish" expression on his face, and snorted with a hint of disgust: "No."
"Why?"
Edwin suddenly stood up from the stone pier, looking aggressive, and walked quickly to Kai.
But Kai just tilted his head back slightly and glanced at him, with even more disgust in his eyes, and didn't want to pay any attention to him at all.
“…”
Edwin opened his mouth, but no words came out, and he immediately deflated.
"Alright, alright. I know I've already lent you six pieces of Tyrian stone along the way, but I left them behind..." He chuckled, his signature scoundrel smile appearing. "I'll definitely return them to you when we get back!"
"Just lend it to him, Kai, otherwise it would be so boring." Ou Sen also grinned and persuaded.
Kai: “…”
Seeing her turn away, Edwin subconsciously glanced back at Clara's mournful expression. He then leaned closer and whispered, "Lend me three more Tyrian stones. I'll pay you back double when we get back!"
Kai: “…”
"You're so cruel!" He gritted his teeth. "Three times, how about that?! No more..."
"Deal." Kai raised his eyebrows and took out three Tyrian stones from his waist bag. "These are the last three. I won't give you any more..."
As she was speaking, her voice stopped abruptly, and Edwin tried to snatch the Tyrian Stone from her hand, but she pulled it back.
"Hey, what are you doing? Are you going to regret this?" Edwin said anxiously, "You can't do this!"
"Stop making noise!" Kai shouted harshly, his expression suddenly turning stern, his scarlet pupils darting around, "Someone is watching us!"
"What?!" x2
Clara and Ou Sen, who were sitting on the stone pier on the other side, immediately stood up alertly and ran over to hug the two of them.
Although Ou Sen, like Kai, is a primary blood magic master, he is still inferior to Kai in many aspects because he has not lived as long as her.
In other words, although Kai finds it troublesome, she is indeed the backbone of the four-person team.
"Demacians?" Edwin asked in a low voice.
"No, those cowards were scared when they saw us. Could they be scouts of that useless prince?" Ou Sen was very confused.
Edwin sneered, "What are you thinking? Our regiment has already set up an ambush on the Silver Lake Plains. Even if scouts crossed the line, we would have received the news in advance."
"Could it be the Fearless Vanguard? Or the Silver Wings?"
Hearing Clara's cautious question, Edwin and Osen were silent for a moment, and then glanced at the youngest noble girl among them with an idiotic look.
This time, Noxus sent a whole regiment as bait and ambush in order to cut off the retreat of the Demacia prince, so that their "trump card" dark regiment could capture or kill Jarvan IV alive.
If the Fearless Vanguard or the Silver Wings arrive, doesn't that prove that Demacia already knew about their plot and has made sufficient preparations for a counterattack?
In other words, if this were true, wouldn't it prove that there was a traitor within Noxus... and the Black Rose Society?!
How is this possible?
"Stop arguing!" Kai frowned and glared at them, then raised his chin and gestured to Clara, "Hurry up and inform Mrs. Noradi, my mother, that someone has sneaked into the Gate of Sorrow."
Edwin and Ou Sen both gasped, their eyes slightly widened as they quickly scanned the small outpost.
"And...someone actually sneaked in?" Clara was stunned.
"What are you standing there for? Why don't you go?!"
Clara looked at Kai a little timidly. Although she looked cold on weekdays, she still took good care of them, the younger generation.
But once she arrives on the battlefield and reaches a critical moment, she will become a different person, especially when facing the soldiers of Demacia, she will immediately transform into a bloodthirsty and ferocious beast, which is chilling.
"I, I understand!"
After saying this, Clara hurriedly walked into the corridor inside the house through the passage beside.
Only Kai, Edwin and Orson were left at the scene, along with a few soldiers standing guard on the other side of the training ground.
The little tail that was valued by his mother, but was troublesome and immature finally left. Kai breathed a sigh of relief and his expression was not as serious as before.
"What's going on, Kai? Why don't I smell any human blood?" Ou Sen raised his eyebrows and asked.
"I told you to practice magic more and hang out less with those bloody stripping women, but you just wouldn't listen!" Kai turned around and glared at him, his scarlet vertical pupils emitting a terrifying red light.
Ou Sen smiled awkwardly, scratched his head, and dared not say anything else.
Kai then retracted his gaze, his eyes still stern and alert. "That guy used some strange magic to hide his tracks... but I still sensed a hint of arcane magic."
"Then...should we notify the guards to be on alert and block off the surrounding area?" Edwin suggested.
"No need. They're just a bunch of trash, useless." Kai snorted coldly. "If it weren't for my mother's special instructions, I wouldn't even bother going on the expedition with these food."
