White snow flakes as big as goose feathers began to fall from the pale and cloudless sky again.
Due to Piltover's geographical location and climate, in winter, if the weather is good, you can still go out wearing thin clothes.
In the past two years, Li Lin has never seen snow there.
Following Zuo Yin's guidance, the two of them first entered the forest near the east, and then continued to go deeper.
In the end, they even arrived at the Quiet Forest, which was inhabited by various magical creatures and ferocious beasts and was extremely dangerous for ordinary people.
Fortunately, Zuo Yin was by his side, and the aura from the "god" alone scared away many creatures.
Li Lin was not attacked by some bloodthirsty, ferocious, and basically unintelligent giant beasts after just a few steps.
After about five minutes, they finally arrived at the northwest corner of the Quiet Forest.
The lush green forest with a hint of magic towers into the clouds. The treetops and branches spread out in the sky like umbrellas, blocking the sky and blocking the heavy snow falling from the outside.
Beneath the trees grow bushes laden with colorful, glowing fruits, adding a fairy-like charm to this slightly shady forest.
If you ignore the deadly dangers that are everywhere in the deep forest, this place is indeed a great place to travel and enjoy the scenery, or to live a secluded life like in paradise.
Li Lin and Zuo Yin walked through rows of waist-high bushes. He continuously used "data-based thinking" to check the properties of all the objects around him.
If the data is not in the database of the intelligent computer, he will take the initiative to upload the data to the Warframe's system and synchronize it to the server terminal in Piltover via satellite.
However, Zuo Yin's actions made him anxious again and again.
"Don't touch that fruit, Zuo Yin, it's poisonous."
"That's not a squirrel, don't touch it! It's a predator, capable of swallowing prey dozens of times its size!"
"Come down quickly! These vines are used to lure prey into the trap. Be careful not to get eaten by the tree spirits lurking in the woods."
"Oh my god, this is the mouth of death, a giant carnivorous plant, one little kid at a time, not cute at all."
"Don't bring that group of iron-eating bees here!"
“…”
Before finally arriving at what Zuo Yin called the "broken altar", Li Lin was very worried about this curious and naughty kid.
Although with her strength, she is not afraid of these things at all...
After finally passing through an extremely dangerous journey, Li Lin and Zuo Yin finally reached the end of the forest and entered a circular open area.
In the center of the area, a large moss-covered boulder took up most of the clearing before them.
"This is the Broken Altar."
Zuo Yin was sitting in the air, her white feet swaying in front of Li Lin, rhythmically accompanying the melody she was humming.
"Is this... an altar?"
Li Lin raised his eyebrows and carefully observed the huge rock in front of him, and then he could vaguely distinguish its faint human shape.
After years of erosion, it has become weathered and almost unrecognizable.
The carved clothes on the statue have merged with the flesh, and the style cannot be seen. The broken arms have disappeared, and dark green moss covers its entire body. The head, which has been corroded to the point of being almost unrecognizable, is entangled with vines as thick as fingers.
It lowered its eyes slightly, and at first glance, it looked like it was praying or cursing something. There were two damaged bulges on its shoulder blades behind its back facing the forest. It was dilapidated and withered, and it was impossible to tell what it originally looked like.
Li Lin walked around the statue. Even without using "data-based thinking", he could roughly tell that the owner of the statue was actually Morgana.
But how did her image become like this?
Before he could even think about it, a mature female voice, slightly deep and sad, suddenly sounded behind him: "You must be wondering why it turned out like this, right?"
Li Lin was startled by the sudden sound, because the intelligent system of the Infinite Armor did not send any reminder at all.
He just turned his head to look in the direction of the sound, and found that Zuo Yin had already approached him curiously: "Hi~~! You are Morgana, right? My name is Zuo Yin, oh, and Twilight Star Spirit, but I prefer people to call me by my name!"
Li Lin's gaze stayed briefly on Zuo Yin, and then was quickly attracted by a person next to her who was wearing a dark purple dress, with most of her face covered by a black headscarf, and a pair of huge feather wings behind her that were locked with thick iron chains and emitted an evil purple light.
This woman, who exudes maturity and sentimentality, has a pair of strange eyes covered in purple light that are captivating. Her ankle-length pleated skirt drags on the ground, yet it is untouched by any worldly dust.
A pair of slender, white, and perfectly proportioned legs occasionally appeared through the slit on one side of the dress, which almost reached the bottom. The slender feet, without shoes but as dust-free as the hem of the skirt, stepped on the wet and cold soil.
Li Lin stared at Morgana, who had a completely different temperament from Zuo Yin and was the second Protoss host he had seen with his own eyes, and felt a little nervous.
"Twilight... Star Spirit?"
Seeing Morgana looking at him, Zuo Yin nodded excitedly, "Yes, yes! Can we be friends?"
“…”
Morgana hesitated for a moment, but ultimately did not answer Zuo Yin's question. She sighed, shook her head, and turned her gaze back to Li Lin.
"Tsk, why are they just like those guys on Mount Targon? So boring."
Realizing that the other party didn't want to pay any attention to him, Zuo Yin stuck out his tongue at Morgana and fell to the ground with his upper body tilted back.
