“—A-choo!”
In a deep sleep, Li Lin felt an itchy sensation at the tip of his nose and couldn't help sneezing.
However, because his head was still dizzy, he didn't understand what was happening. He just rubbed his nose, turned over and prepared to continue to immerse himself in his sweet dream.

Li Lin raised his head slightly and saw Caitlin lying beside him.
She was wearing a dark purple cool tank top with exposed belly buttons, and matching hot pants. Her long and beautiful legs and proud body curves were displayed in his eyes without any reservation.
Because the winter in Piltover is not that cold, and Gilaman's house has an excellent heating system, wearing cool summer clothes in the house is not a problem at all.
Caitlin held her cheek with her left hand, and grabbed a strand of her purple hair with her right hand, drawing circles in the air. Her sockless, tightly stretched jade feet were crossed and swayed in the air. The white and rosy soles of her feet were wrinkled, and her ten slender, perfectly proportioned toes curled up from time to time.
Seeing the man looking at her, she immediately put down the hair in her hand.
Just now, Li Lin's nose suddenly itched and he sneezed, which was obviously Caitlin's masterpiece.
"Why am I in your room? I'm not..."
He hadn't finished his words when Caitlin interrupted him: "You shouldn't be in the underground lab, right?"
Li Lin supported himself on the bed and sat up, crossed his legs and half-bent his waist, frowned slightly, and stretched out his hands to gently rub his temples, which were still a little dizzy.

"You clearly promised me that you wouldn't stay up all day working on things."
She grabbed Li Lin's left hand, which was at a loss, and squeezed it hard as if to vent her anger, without showing any mercy.
Because Caitlin knew that the little strength she had was not enough to cause him any pain.
"When the intelligent computer reminded me that you had fallen asleep in a chair in the underground laboratory, do you know what I thought?"
"Kate..."
"I know you're very busy. You always seem to be chasing something, and you don't dare to stop at all. Even though you spend much less time with me because of work, I've never had any complaints about it. You know this clearly."
Caitlin looked at Li Lin seriously. "But why don't you take care of your body? You must be saying that your body has been strengthened, so you don't have to worry about anything..."
"Then how are you going to explain to me that you were practically in a coma in the lab yesterday, the kind of state where you couldn't be woken up even if you called out to?"
As she spoke, a mist appeared in her watery eyes, and her eye sockets were slightly red.
Caitlin then sniffed, quickly calming her excitement before continuing, "Do you know how much I feel for you? We clearly agreed not to work all night and to get at least four hours of sleep every day, but you don't seem to be keeping our promise."
Li Lin had an embarrassed expression on his face, and his right hand gently stroked her smooth, delicate and well-maintained face.
Caitlin responded to his gentle caress of her cheek, but the discontented look on her face and the doubts deep in her blue eyes did not diminish in the slightest.
What she wanted to express was very clear: If you don’t give me an explanation today, this matter will not be over.
Li Lin was silent for a few seconds. He really didn't know how to respond to Caitlin's concern and worry for him, so he could only sigh heavily.
"Kate... Actually, what I'm going to research soon is really important."
He noticed Caitlin's expression remained unchanged and knew she wasn't satisfied with the answer, so he continued to explain, "Because the technology I'm researching can completely free Kai'Sa from the influence of the Void."
I'm so sorry, Kasa. In order to make Kate accept it, I can only use you as my shield for the time being...
Li Lin pretended to be calm on the surface, but in his heart he apologized to Kassa, who was now nowhere to be found.
When Caitlin heard that he was here to solve Kassadin's problem, her expression softened a little, but that suspicious look still swept across his face again and again.
"Really? Have you found a way to deal with Kassadin's living skin?" She sat up in a duck-like position, her expression becoming more serious. "This is very important. Don't tell me you're just using this excuse to brush me off."
"When have I ever lied to you?" Li Lin scratched Caitlin's sharp nose. "It's precisely because the technology I'm researching is so important, and it's my first attempt. I can't interrupt it, and it's very energy-consuming. That's why I collapsed into a chair and fell asleep after I finished."
Caitlin tilted her face and stared at Li Lin for a moment with her pretty eyebrows slightly frowned, as if she was trying to discern the various details of his facial expressions to determine whether his words were simply an excuse to get away with it.
