Then, golden flames rekindled in her eyes, and she flapped her wings and took off again.
But when he saw Morgana taking two steps back because of his action, Kayle subconsciously stopped flapping his wings, landed lightly on the ground with his feet, and had a look of shock on his face.
"What did you give me to drink?" Her eyes focused on Li Lin. "This isn't something from this world...it's from heaven!"
"I received a potion blessed by the stars." Li Lin said.
"Where did you get it?"
"We all have secrets."
He smiled slightly and was unwilling to answer the question.
Seeing this, Kyle chose not to ask any further questions.
Then, Li Lin turned around and looked into Morgana's eyes, who had just recovered from her shock. "Now, you should understand what you mean, right?"
She pursed her lips and said nothing, glancing at her sister Kyle out of the corner of her eye.
"You two have lived longer than the founding of Demacia and the rise of Noxus, yet why can't you understand a very simple truth?
"There's an Ionian saying: 'Two men, united in purpose, can cut through metal.' Even if two people are unrelated by blood, as long as they work together, their strength is like a sharp sword, strong enough to cut through metal.
"Especially sisters like you, shouldn't you work together to overcome difficulties?"
Li Lin's gaze first fell on Morgana.
"You, don't blindly forgive those who are guilty. As long as they have committed a crime, even if they sincerely repent, they must still be punished according to local laws, and the death penalty is indispensable."
Just like how you nearly killed my sister today, I couldn't help but feel resentment...
Morgana sighed inwardly, and finally understood the thoughts of those who were harmed by the disciples she protected.
Having said that, Li Lin looked at Kyle immediately without waiting for her response.
"And you, don't blindly judge others by your own standards of 'justice'. Humans have their own laws, which they constantly revise and improve. They are capable of handling their own affairs.
"Even if you want to judge them, you must follow human rules. Each person should receive a different degree of punishment based on the severity of their fault. This is not like the legends of the Church of the Illuminators, where you simply charge those soldiers who were forced to act only by following orders as 'accomplices' for the greater crime, and judge them by fire."
Kyle opened his mouth and was about to retort that only gods could guide humans from going astray and could truly judge a person's sins.
But when she thought about how she had been defeated by a human and almost died at his hands, and how he had saved her, she was so ashamed that she couldn't speak, and in the end she couldn't utter a single word.
Then, Li Lin looked at the two of them again, walked to Morgana first, reached out and grabbed her wrist, forcibly pulled her to Kyle, and then grabbed Kyle, letting their somewhat restrained hands touch each other.
"And." He took a deep breath, his expression becoming serious, "Don't wait until you lose something to appreciate it."
