Chapter 404 You are surrounded by me, just surrender

They all thought that even if the guards were protected by rune steel plate armor, they would not be able to survive such terrifying magical flames.

But Silas stared at the raging fire in front of him, frowning with a serious expression.

He could feel that the street in front of him, surrounded by flames, suddenly had a huge energy that made him feel heartbroken. It was more powerful than any magic he had ever seen.

This energy is similar to magic, but it is very different from magic, just like the contrast between the ocean and magma. They are both liquids, but they are essentially different.

If he absorbed this energy without restraint, Silas believed that his body would explode instantly.

A thin, gray-haired middle-aged man standing next to him noticed his ugly face and asked, "Silas, what's going on?"

"It looks like we're in trouble."

Silas turned his wrist and dragged the rune steel chain behind him to his side. Dozens of mages behind him also noticed something unusual and gathered around him.

As time passed, the flames on the street gradually disappeared, turning into magic particles and dissipating into the air.

Li Lin and two unharmed guards appeared in front of everyone again.

The mages behind Silas were in chaos. Some were cursing, some were terrified, and the calmer ones turned their eyes to their backbone, Silas.

"Are you okay?" Li Lin asked, his eyes fixed on the mage a few meters away, without looking back.

The days in Xiongdu were relatively peaceful. The two guards never expected that the wizard would escape from prison and cast such powerful magic in the city walls made of forbidden magic stone.

The two survivors had not yet recovered from the shock of the fire that almost swallowed them, and were rescued by a mysterious man in strange fully enclosed armor. They were even more shocked.

After two seconds, one of the older guards stammered, "No...no..."

"If you're alright, leave now. Leave this to me."

"and you……"

"Don't worry, I can handle them."

After hurriedly thanking Li Lin, the two guards ran to the back.

Silas glanced at the fleeing soldier, raised the corner of his mouth, and snorted disdainfully.

Then, his gaze returned to Li Lin, and he looked him up and down. "Who are you... or rather, what are you?"

"My name is Li Lin, a mechanic." Li Lin briefly introduced himself, not wanting to waste any more time talking to them. He continued in a nonchalant tone, "You've been surrounded by me. Just surrender."
