It was a handmade pistol that Elro had given her on her birthday.
Although today's ordinary kinetic firearms can't even break the surface of his skin.
"Breaking into someone's house is a serious crime," she said with a hint of joking. "If it were someone else, even if you were shot, they wouldn't have broken any laws."
Li Lin raised his hand cooperatively. "But I've never heard of anyone trespassing by entering someone else's home."
Li Lin smiled slightly, and used magnetic force to forcibly control the muzzle of the revolver in Caitlin's hand, which had no bullets at all, to move away from his head.
Caitlin's beautiful blue eyes widened and she exclaimed, "Hey! You cheated!"
Taking advantage of her distraction, Li Lin dodged past her, then put one arm around her well-trained, slender waist, and with the other hand, clasped her free left hand, pushing her back against the wall.
Feeling the warm breath blowing on her face, Caitlin's fair skin was covered with a layer of light cherry pink under the dim desk lamp beside her.
Especially her well-maintained delicate face, coupled with her reluctant yet welcoming expression, gave Li Lin a strong urge to "take a bite".
"Let me go."
Her voice was soft and she struggled slightly. Her right hand no longer reached for the gun that Li Lin had raised above his head with his super power. Instead, it dropped down and struck him weakly in the chest.
But noticing the light in Li Lin's eyes and the smile on his lips, Caitlin finally gave up struggling and let him go, burying half of her face in his chest.
"Didn't you go to Demacia to congratulate Prince Jarvan IV? Why are you back?"
"Of course I came back to accompany my wife." Li Lin changed his posture and hugged her in his arms. "I've been busy for so long and have neglected you during this period..."
Before he could finish his words, Caitlin rolled her eyes at him and put her right index finger to his lips. "Don't come on, do you think I can't see what you're thinking?"
“Ahem…”
Li Lin laughed awkwardly and scratched his hair. The words he had prepared in his mind were instantly disrupted by her.
Caitlin slipped away from his arms and sat back in the chair in front of the desk against the wall. She leaned back, raised her long, white legs, crossed her arms, and stared at the man in front of her. She raised her chin and said nothing, waiting for him to speak.
