The style of this tower is very similar to an old-fashioned clock tower, about several dozen meters high. The whole body is ochre dotted with dark green, and is covered with traces of time. The huge hall was filled with translucent figures of both men and women, young and old, wearing clothes somewhat similar to those of ancient Shurima.
Their faces were filled with terror, their eyes fixed on the windows of the tower, and their bodies were making movements that were the human body's subconscious attempts to protect itself, as if there was something terrifying outside.
However, what was very strange was that even though the scanning results of the intelligent computer showed that these were living humans with signs of life, they had maintained the same action for too long and ignored the tower door being pushed open.
The ruins of an ancient capital city swallowed by the void, or perhaps an ancient battlefield, yet there were towers enchanted with some unknown magic and a group of living people?!
So weird...
Kassadin hurriedly took a step forward and grabbed Li Lin's arm, "Li Lin, this place is very strange, don't go in rashly!"
Li Lin didn't say anything, but released two drones and asked them to enter the tower to investigate the situation first.
As soon as they passed through the gate, their figures became as illusory as the tower itself, as if they had escaped into another space that was contrary to reality.
However, unlike what Kassadin had imagined, the two drones did not become stagnant like those "living people". Instead, under the control of the intelligent computer, they split into two groups and flew towards the corridors on both sides of the hall, which were also crowded with people, to scan the internal structure of the tower.
After two or three minutes, when the data information was transmitted back to the Warframe interface, Li Lin said to Kassadin, "There's no danger inside, let's go in."

Taking advantage of the loosening of Kassadin's grip, Li Lin took the opportunity to move forward and directly broke into the territory of the tower.

There was the same sound of metal gears turning and the door opened again.

"The doors have an ingenious gravity-activated mechanism that automatically closes when someone passes through."
After Li Lin gave a brief explanation, Kassadin silently retracted the Underworld Blade and the Void Stone, took a deep breath, and exhaled heavily.
"You are still as bold as you were a year ago," he sighed sincerely.
“Without courage, how could I have achieved what I have today?”
Li Lin laughed and didn't intend to continue on this topic. He waved to Kassadin and asked him to follow him.
"From what I just observed, I found that everything here has fallen into a state of stagnation."
They walked around the crowded crowd and into what looked like a reception hall. They soon arrived at a long, slightly messy table used for food.
I saw more than a dozen people with terrified faces bumping into the table in different movements, their bodies suspended in mid-air, and the spilled wine, white fresh milk, and fruits, bread and meat products that were about to fall to the ground were also suspended in the air for an unknown reason, without ever touching the ground.
After the initial shock, Kassadin adjusted his mentality and became accustomed to this kind of scene.
"What on earth happened to this tower?" he couldn't help but ask, turning his gaze to the window diagonally above, where a swarm of Void Mosquitoes happened to be flying past. "Those monsters don't seem to be able to find this place."
While he was speaking, Li Lin picked up a green apple in mid-air, unfolded his visor and took a bite before Kassadin could stop him. The crisp sound echoed in the quiet space.
A bit sour, but very juicy.
Even after thousands of years, the food here still retains the state it was in before it was removed from the timeline due to the influence of time magic.
Perhaps in the original world line, the reason why Kassadin was able to fight alone in Icathia for so long was because of the supplies in this tower.
