The library in Nashrameh is very different from the great library in the City of the Sun.
The Great Library is a giant building built on the surface. During the heyday of Shurima, it contained almost all the cultural treasures of the entire Shurima continent.
The Nashramé Library is built entirely underground and is an "intelligent" library powered entirely by magic.
However, as early as the time when Nashrameh was still an independent city-state hostile to the Shurima Empire, Renekton, who had become a god and became cold and bloodthirsty, led the Golden Warriors to break through the gates of the city-state, razed the then Great Library, massacred all those who stood in his way, and clashed with Nasus.
The current magic library was later rebuilt under the supervision of Nasus.
In the dim space illuminated by the faint blue light, a huge jackal statue stood at one end of a floating circular platform supported by a large magic circle.
Countless huge bookshelves slowly rotated in a circle around the round table, and inside them were precious books from Nashramé's past.
Li Lin and others followed Nasus's footsteps, passed through the magic portal, stepped on the suspended stone steps and quickly ran to the circular platform, followed by a row of storm robots.
Sivir learned from Nasus that Azir allowed her to leave the Sun City, but she had to have him by her side as a protection and could not go to dangerous places.
After thinking about it, she decided to follow them back to Nashramé, where she was familiar.
With the return of their master Nasus, several shadow guards holding huge sickles emerged from the jackal statue and landed on the ground to pay him the highest courtesy of Shurima.
Afterwards, the shadows quickly merged into the surrounding magic stone pillars, injecting power back into the library and keeping it running.
Kasa blinked, and her watery eyes were full of twinkling stars. "What a magnificent library!"
"I've been in Nashramé for so many years, and I didn't know there was such a place underground." Shock appeared on Sivir's face, and she couldn't help but sigh.
If you knew about this, I'm afraid this place would be emptied out, right?
By then, even your ancestor Azir might not be able to stop Nasus from smashing your heart with his axe...
Li Lin complained silently in his heart.
"This library was closed after the fall of Shurima and my retreat from worldly affairs."
Nasus seemed to recall something that had angered him, and the scarlet light in his eyes grew brighter.
"Later, during the Darkin War, Monila, my fellow celestial being, was also a corrupted Darkin.
"He wanted to explore this place, searching for the secrets of the ancient forbidden arts I had sealed here, to master the great power to conquer other Darkin, but I killed him with my own hands.
“After that, no one dared to set foot in this place again.”
Few things could anger Nasus: slander against the Empire and the royal bloodline, disrespect for his brother, and blasphemy against knowledge.
Nasus still remembered the humble attitude of the Darkin as he knelt and begged for forgiveness.
The poor fellow had completely lost his honor, his self-respect, his pride as a god-warrior.
He did not identify with such a compatriot, so he cut off Moniira's head with his battle axe, used astral magic to extract his soul, and completely annihilated it, leaving no trace.
Xiweier took a deep breath and quickly suppressed the little thoughts in her mind.
"This place is located at the foot of the Salt Mountain northwest of the present-day Nashiramy City, about half a day's journey from Nashiramy."
As he spoke, Nasus casually waved his hand, and three pitch-black jackal head pendants floated out from a bookshelf rotating in the air around him.
The three pendants floated slowly with the flow of magic power, hovering in front of Li Lin, Kassadin and Sivir respectively.
"The library can only be entered through the teleportation array on the ground. If you want to come here to look up information, please use this key."
Li Lin and Kassadin took the keys and expressed their gratitude respectively, while Sivir remained silent.
It's not that she is illiterate, she just has no interest in such literary things.
"It's getting late. If there's nothing else, let's go back to Nashram."
"Are you going to Nashramé with us too?" Li Lin asked in confusion after hearing what Nasus said.
"Well, Azir ordered me to speak with the current Port Governor of Nashrameh."
Nasus intentionally emphasized the word "talk", and Li Lin and the others immediately understood what he meant.
As in Zerima, if the Governor was willing to accept the jurisdiction of the City of the Sun, there would be no need for bloodshed.
"I know the Governor of Nashramé, her name is Sarah. I discussed the construction of the Hexgate with her before..."
Li Lin paused, his expression slightly conflicted. "How should I put it? This Governor is a bit pedantic. If Noxus hadn't withdrawn its troops and she were in urgent need of investment to rebuild the port, she wouldn't have agreed to let us build the Hexgate."
A cold flame flickered in Nasus's eyes. "Pedantic..."
Seeing a dangerous aura emanating from him, Sivir quickly added, "Don't do anything drastic! Sarah is still quite popular among the people. If you kill her, I'm afraid you won't be able to convince them."
“Don’t worry, I’m not Renekton,” Nasus said flatly. “If she sticks to the rules, it’s easy to deal with. All she needs to do is display the Imperial Crest.”
"What is that?" Kassa asked curiously.
"It's the certification of the Shurima Emperor's identity. Without the Imperial Crest, the Emperor would not be recognized by the people... Of course, that's only part of it."
Li Lin nodded. This thing reminded him of the imperial seal in his ancient hometown, a symbol of imperial status.
