Chapter 4: A Brief Summary of the Story of the Three Night Owls (Written in a very disorganized manner) You can skip this...

Thomas Wayne Jr. is a born eccentric.

Earth is three.

From the day he became aware of things, he has been unable to understand the world.

And the world is destined to never understand him.

He was born with a love for order, but he discovered that the world revered chaos.

He examined everything around him and found that everything seemed to be contradictory.

This caused him great pain, like a white sheep standing among a flock of black sheep.

Am I going crazy? Why am I different from everyone else?

He discovered the chilling side of this world, but he couldn't confide in any adult or person his age.

Thomas is a smart kid. He hates the world, but he also understands its rules perfectly.

He knew that if he asked these questions, the world would immediately tear him apart.

His parents might be the main force to get rid of him. They might even kill this spoiled son, empty his pockets, and sell him for money, since no one would complain about having too much money.

Thomas Jr. could only confide in his brother Bruce.

Only when he's with this infant can little Thomas relax for a brief moment.

He leaned against the baby, muttering absurd and ridiculous things under his breath, such as "I will eradicate all evil," "I will change the whole world," "This world is wrong, I will conquer it, and then change it"...

In this world, only Bruce can accommodate Isaiah Thomas.

Thomas Sr. and Martha were happy to see Thomas Jr. spending every day with Bruce.

If Thomas strangled Bruce for the sake of the family fortune, they would have gained a decent son; if Thomas took good care of Bruce, they would save time caring for their son.

In short, they weren't losing out, so they simply let Thomas go see Bruce whenever he had free time.

And just like that, Thomas Jr. truly had a family.

Thomas Jr. decided to treat this family member well, his only family.

He used the way the world despised, the way that was the opposite of his parents', and the way he envisioned love.

Thomas Jr. took meticulous care of him, taught him, and protected him. The love of family in this world can be painful, so he wanted to use his own love to make his brother happy.

Isaiah Thomas wants to rebel against the whole world.

But he was, after all, just a child, a child born into this world.

He is a prisoner in the cave, and even if he wants to change the world, he can only do so in the ways of this world.

Because he belongs to this world, to Earth III.

Thomas Jr. plans to start with his parents.

He learned from his parents' methods, bribing and controlling the butler Alfred, meticulously planning his actions, and selecting suitable weapons...

He told everything to his beloved brother, and Bruce agreed to work with him to change the world.

Thomas Jr. thought he had his destiny in his own hands.

But fate cruelly mocked him.

Isaiah Thomas—now we should call him Thomas—lost his entire family.

Thomas later pondered why Bruce had disobeyed him.

Am I even less than that couple?

Or did I raise him to be too kind and naive?

Doesn't Bruce know that I will die if I fail?

If I am expected to pity others, who will pity me?

Thomas had no chance to know the reason, and he didn't want to know the truth.

Whoever is best at deceiving themselves is the happiest. *1

He decisively blamed everything on his own failed education and then proceeded with his plan to eradicate evil.

And then, ha, everything was very simple.

Thomas was a clever man who knew the ways of the world and was powerful and influential. He willingly embraced darkness and evil, so the world opened itself up to him.

He became the Night Owl, easily taking control of all of Gotham.

He became one of the Syndicate's Big Three, controlling a group of supervillains.

He adopted a younger brother and raised him to be a villain, making him his partner.

What a remarkable life Thomas Wayne has led! He ruled Gotham and is about to rule the world with his Syndicate cronies.

If nothing unexpected happens, once he uses the Syndicate to rule the world, he will purge some of his disobedient colleagues and then change the rules of this world.

He planned to eliminate the Super Queen first, as she was intelligent and had no weaknesses... The Ultimate Man, on the other hand, could be spared; he had obvious weaknesses and was easy to control, making him a perfect henchman.

The remaining few were used to instigate infighting. This was easy; apart from the Supergirl, none of them had foresight or intelligence, and their minds were less mature than Thomas's when he was a teenager.

In the end, just leave a few obedient idiots; after all, the Syndicate has no shortage of idiots.

Everything was supposed to go according to his plan; the Night Owl was supposed to rule the world as he pleased.

Like parents managing an out-of-control child, or a doctor removing a tumor from a patient, Thomas learned everything the world wanted him to learn, and then gave it all back to his teacher.

When Night Owl grows old, all he will do is watch his empire crumble, fall from the throne, and be torn apart by the world.

During this time, he may completely change the world, or he may activate the quantum state bomb to destroy it completely, destroying this crazy world.

That's how it should have been.

Until Thomas learned the truth about the world.

At that time, Nite Owl had just lost his claws and used Luther's research to create a quantum starter, giving him the ability to travel through the multiverse.

Owl initially only wanted to use the multiverse to find Richard, so he began to explore countless universes.

He observed many Earths, some of which were the complete opposite of his own, some had been taken over by strange creatures, some had octopuses as their native intelligent life, and some had never given birth to life at all...

Some of these Earths are the complete opposite of the Earth where the Night Owl lives, yet this world is not lacking in evil.

Humans have no choice, whether to do good or evil, to live or die... The multiverse contains all possible outcomes.

Therefore, no matter who sets the rules, no matter if the world is good or bad, no matter what efforts anyone makes, countless evils will always be born in the multiverse; the only difference is the criminals.

Nothing is meaningful. We are merely prisoners who think we are free, but are imprisoned in different cages called "possibility," which are in fact inevitabilities.

So he changed his plans.

The owl begins searching for the beginning of the error—Earth One.

This is the foundation of all Earths in the multiverse, and also the starting point of all human evil.

Destroying this place would destroy humanity's future; all evil and suffering would disappear.

Once you understand this, everything will be very easy.

Among the Syndicate members, only Super Queen saw that Nite Owl wanted to destroy everything. She seemed to still believe that everything had meaning, but she still stood with Nite Owl and went to the multiverse to find the [missing information] hidden by Lex Luthor.

Sure enough, she was the most reliable among her syndicate colleagues, and she found the quantum state bomb that Luther had hidden in the multiverse.

Ultimate seemed to have noticed Night Owl's change; perhaps his poor super brain had finally given him a warning? But he still didn't stop Night Owl, this consultant who was always diligent, conscientious, and perfectly fulfilled all of the Syndicate's requirements.

Honestly, Owl was a little curious. How could a Kryptonian, the leader of the Syndicate, who grew up on such a planet, still entrust his trust to others? It was really interesting.

As for the rest of the Syndicate, they were completely oblivious, still dreaming of world domination.

Ah...don't they ever think about it? What need do the other members of the Syndicate have for world domination? Do they have the time to set rules and govern their territories? They're just like children, using the pretext of world domination to cause trouble for a while, then dumping everything on Night Owl and continuing their wicked little games.

Therefore, the only obstacle in Nite Owl's path now is Lex Luthor and the Justice League from the multiverse that he brought.

Clearly, the Justice League is much stronger than the Syndicate. They have conviction, willpower, courage, determination, teamwork... all the qualities that the Syndicate lacks but which are beneficial to the fight.

Given that Nite Owl deliberately concealed the weakness of the Kryptonian in the Justice League, the Syndicate had no chance of winning.

He never expected his colleagues to defeat them; he only hoped that these guys could hold them off for a while, and ideally, fight to the death.

While the Syndicate members were fighting the Justice League, Nite Owl found the coordinates of Earth One, briefly fought with his counterpart, and then seized the opportunity to teleport to Earth One with the Quantum Bomb.

Earth was vast and desolate, and microorganisms had not yet had a chance to emerge.

The owl makes final adjustments to the quantum bomb.

Everything will return to silence, and the world's mistakes will be eradicated from the root.

But the other two bypassed his obstruction and tried to stop him. Night Owl guessed that they probably sacrificed one of the speedsters.

It's a pity that it wasn't Superman who came; if it were him, things would be much simpler—Night Owl still had the green kryptonite he got from Ultimate Man.

The owl had briefly observed its counterparts, most of whom dressed like bats, adhered to principles of non-violence and non-use of guns, and were surrounded by friends and children...

This counterpart wasn't significantly different from Night Owl on the surface—at least less so than the differences between Superman and Ultimate Man he had seen. Their fighting habits and commonly used items seemed to match, except that Night Owl was slightly older.

The owl attempted to communicate with its counterpart, but the conversation was fruitless; both viewed the other's words as sophistry. They seemed to be analyzing themselves in a mirror, rather than speaking to someone else.

There are indeed differences between you and me.

"We both come from hell, but when a chance for redemption arises..."

"You missed it." *2

A chance for redemption?

"I don't need a false redemption," thought the owl.

I will end all evil, including myself.

In the final moments, Night Owl looked at the control panel of the quantum bomb and did not stop it.

"It doesn't matter."*3

The owl has resolved to die for his cause.

Unfortunately, it seems that all his plans were destined to fail. Night Owl defied all logic and was reborn in the body of Thomas the Tank Engine in the multiverse, becoming an infant.

Since he wasn't killed by the quantum state bomb, Thomas wasn't in a hurry to die immediately.

It's no use dying; he might just be resurrected in some other multiverse. It's better to stay here and stay by Bruce's side.

This Earth is much better than the one he used to live on.

Especially Bruce, who is alive and has become his brother.

Although Thomas prefers to call him his brother in his mind.

The rest of the family were merely add-ons, appendages of the family. He ignored everyone except Bruce, including the Wayne couple, even if they weren't the couple from Earth 3, and even if they were nice to Thomas.

Because Isaiah Thomas doesn't intend to fully integrate into this world.

He knew this world didn't belong to him, so he only intended to play an outsider on the stage, even if he was in it, he was always ready to leave.

He thought this way until the Wayne couple died.

A note from the author:

----------------------

This chapter may be significantly revised later, as it seems quite chaotic considering that some people have read it and others haven't.

As I was writing, I realized something was off. His storyline wasn't extensive to begin with, and his character was quite unique, so I decided to leave it blank. I'll think about it some more, and once I fully understand it, I'll revise it drastically. [Sigh]

I welcome writing suggestions, all kinds of popular science articles, and interpretations of night owls _(:з」∠)_ I'm a new and clumsy author. I just impulsively started writing a fanfic. I hope it can help improve my writing skills.
