Chapter 73 Blood Sugar Loves to Eat Blood Sugar ( )

Chapter 73 Blood Sugar Loves to Eat Blood Sugar ( )

The Joker? Isn't that the Joker standing next to you?

Green hair, bizarre clothes, scars and lines on the corners of his mouth... no matter how you look at it, it's related to that group of clown lunatics.

The group was worried that it was a group of crazy clowns setting a trap for law enforcement, so they dared not speak.

“Speak up,” the clown said impatiently, stabbing another gangster. “If you can’t say anything useful, you’re not worth keeping alive.”

The person stabbed by the knife let out a weak groan.

"I'll talk! I'll talk!" The bartender, who usually handled the transaction intelligence, was terrified by these two lunatics. "Clown, clown..."

Batman raised the gun in his hand.

"I overheard it yesterday!" the bartender raised his voice. "Those clowns seem to be planning something big to make a name for themselves..."

"Oh?" The clown crouched down, his狰狞 (zhengning, meaning sinister or hideous) grinning face extremely close. "Where?"

"In...in..."

Batman, unable to bear it any longer, fired a shot at the floor beside him.

“Wayne Tower! Wayne…” The bartender swallowed hard. “They say it’s a great stage.”

"Ha, Wayne?" The Joker looked at Batman mockingly. "The chairman of Wayne Enterprises, or Thomas Wayne?"

Isn't that obvious? Right now, there's no one in all of Gotham who can get that damn Thomas off that position.

“That’s right!” a gangster next to the bartender chimed in, seizing the opportunity. He figured these two didn’t seem very familiar with Gotham and planned to fob them off with some vague gossip. “His brother is no match for him…”

brother?

The Joker looked at Batman.

Aren't you an only child? Where did you get a brother?

Batman met her gaze calmly, while simultaneously pointing his gun at the gang member.

I don't know, but I am indeed an only child.

“I don’t recall Thomas Wayne having a brother,” Batman said. “I’ll show you what happens when you lie.”

"Yes!" the gang member almost cried out, "Bruce Wayne! The one who just came back a while ago!"

Batman's finger, which was about to pull the trigger, stopped.

The clown stood up with a hostile expression.

“Bruce Wayne?” Her voice was somewhat unsteady. “How much do you know about Wayne?”

The gang members, still shaken, tried to calm themselves down.

How could anyone know about that bat that only flies in the sky at night (and can even recreate the uniform), but not Wayne who's always on the front page!

But in order to save his own life, the gang member revealed everything he knew about the Wayne family, including all the half-true and half-false gossip and even rumors, including the widely circulated story of Thomas killing his parents, the Owl-Tooth Owl pairing, and Bruce Wayne's romantic history (there was no other way; obviously, only love stories, gossip, and conspiracy theories could attract the audience's interest, and Batman's debut was relatively short, so there were fewer stories, leaving Bruce Wayne to take the spotlight).

He was an excellent orator (perhaps a potential that erupted in the face of life and death), making the G-rated r18 blood sugar that the gangsters fabricated, which was of a level of mental pollution, sound like a love-hate relationship between sworn enemies.

The effect was good; the two lunatics were speechless for a long time after listening, and finally left in a daze.

-

The Joker never realized that Gotham's sunlight could be so dazzling.

She feels a little dizzy right now.

"I..." Her voice was a little hoarse, "I suddenly feel like I have some kind of psychological trauma. Doctor, do you think I'm hallucinating?"

“No,” Batman answered quietly, “because I heard it too.”

“Or maybe we’re both crazy… Bruce’s alive, and even that kid…” The Joker’s voice trembled slightly. “I can’t even imagine it. I thought that person only said to keep Bruce alive at most. How come it’s so good here, they’re all alive…”

She covered her face.

Batman remained silent, but simply placed his hand on the Joker's back.

“No, no!” The Joker lowered his hand. “We should verify, Batman.”

“We’ll go to Wayne Manor together tomorrow. Just to be safe, we should do what that guy said,” Batman said. “Anyway, those Jokers’ target is Wayne, even if it’s just to protect our…our two kids.”

“That’s right,” the Joker quickly rallied, “I’m going to kill them, I’m going to really kill those guys.”

She reached out to Batman: "Come with me... Thomas."

“Old Thomas.” Batman took her hand and gently kissed it on his lips.

-

So "Night Owl" bumped into Batman and the Joker, who had been staying near Wayne Tower, keeping an eye on the Joker elements in the vicinity, and had just finished listening to "Owl's Blood Sugar."

Coincidentally, the two had just been discussing the Wayne brothers' education out of sheer boredom, and their conversation, which started with how to ease the tension between the two brothers, led them to the question of what the relationship between Thomas and the Night Owl really was.

“A lot of what that guy said was false,” Batman analyzed quite rigorously from the perspective of a top surgeon. “I’m certain that the human body could never do that, unless the human body structure has undergone a horrific transformation without my knowledge.”

"Why didn't you say so earlier?"

Well, it seems that the habit of attacking each other that has been cultivated over the years is not so easy to disappear.

"...I didn't react."

“But he’s definitely up against our two poor kids,” the Joker said, shaking the newspaper in his hand and throwing it on the ground. They had just bought it, and coincidentally, it contained some summaries of the hostile relationship between Thomas Wayne Jr. and Nite Owl. “Maybe it’s also related to those nasty clowns.”

She hugged Batman and whispered in his ear, "Maybe we should teach him a lesson... No, tomorrow is fine too, there are more important things to do today."

So the two of them just stared straight at "Night Owl".

"This is the scariest thing ever for Halloween!" Red Hood yelled, almost in despair. "Why are they still holding... I'm going to show this video to everyone else! I can't take it anymore! I can't be the only one with an injured eye! So why aren't you leaving? Are you on drugs?"

"Don't frame me," the owl thought calmly.

He can't leave now.

"Night Owl's" goal is to confirm whether Night Owl exists in this universe, and this Batman fits Night Owl's criteria perfectly.

A strong smell of blood and gunpowder wafted from "Batman" and "Joker," and what was even more striking were the two guns on "Batman's" waist.

This is clearly not a normal Batman, but his equipment is exceptionally professional.

Judging from his exposed chin, he is around forty years old, which perfectly matches the age at which Night Owl would be if he traveled directly from the universe where the extreme cold Earth is located to live in this universe.

Although, based on Batman's summary and behavioral profile of Night Owl, Night Owl should disdain donning Batman's suit for disguise... he can't gamble the entire Earth of the multiverse on whether Night Owl can remain unchanged.

So I should test this Batman a little, thought Night Owl, and that's exactly what he was planning to do.

Based on the character of Night Owl, he walked up to the strange couple and extended his hand.

"gun."

“What should we do? I was thinking of keeping him here for another day,” the Joker said to Batman. “Looks like there’s no way around it.”

Batman didn't say much; he skillfully and swiftly fired at Night Owl.

The crowd fell silent for a moment after hearing the gunshot, then erupted into frantic shouts and screams.

After all these years, there are still people who dare to use their ultimate skill face-to-face in front of Night Owl.

The Joker then quickly approached "Night Owl," trying to find a weakness in the armor.

...It's covered up really well; apart from the chin, there isn't a single gap in this armor.

The knife almost chipped its blade when it cut into the armor.

Just then, a screen in a nearby shopping mall flickered.

A harsh and unpleasant laugh reached everyone's ears, and a cloudy, bloodshot eye appeared on the screen.

Author's Note: I'm wondering whether to include the description of my parents' love story as a warning in the first chapter (I hope no one is bothered by Thomas and Martha). (Hesitating)
