Chapter 3 If you don't let her have an easy life, then no one else will have an easy life

"Mom, how is Ah Hao?"

Putting the food on the table beside her, Jiang Wan bent down and touched Jiang Hao's forehead.

"He's already asleep."

Su Yun sat up, touched the wound on his body, and took a cold breath.

"Wanwan, how are you?"

"Mom, I'm fine." Jiang Wan shook her head.

"Your grandma is trying to drive our family to death. Who in the village hasn't heard about the Liang family's situation?"

"Mother, don't worry, I won't let Wanwan marry him."

Jiang Zexing suddenly lifted the door curtain and walked in from outside.

Jiang Wan lowered her head and said nothing. Jiang Zexing naturally felt it. Since coming back today, Jiang Wan had not said a few words to him.

He hesitantly said, "It's Dad's fault. Dad is sorry for you."

"Dad, you shouldn't say this to me. You should tell Mom and my brother. They're so badly injured, but Grandma acts like nothing happened."

"Grandma, are we going to put up with this?"

Jiang Zexing pursed his lips and finally said, "Wanwan, we are family after all."

"But, Dad, what if something really happens to Mom and my brother this time?"

She knew that these words would not make Jiang Zexing give up his attachment to the Jiang family instantly, but it would be good enough if it could make him waver in his heart.

Things always have to be done step by step.

"this……"

Jiang Zexing opened his mouth slightly, wanting to say something, but in the end he didn't say anything.

"Second aunt, what are you doing here?"

As soon as the sun rose, Jiang Wan got up and walked out the door, and saw Xie Ying sneaking around their door.

"Ahem, um, Wanwan."

Her eyes flickered, and it was obvious that she had done something wrong.

Xie Ying was worried about marrying her daughter off, so she simply went back to her parents' home.

"I heard you're going to marry the young master of the Liang family?"

"I wonder who told Second Auntie this? Grandpa told me yesterday that he wouldn't let me get married."

"What?"

Xie Ying couldn't hold back and screamed, looking at her flatteringly.

"Um... Wanwan, Young Master Liang is so nice. Once you marry him, you won't have to worry about food and clothing..."

"Really? Then why didn't Second Aunt leave this good thing to my cousin?"

"you--"

Xie Ying choked and his expression suddenly changed.

"Jiang Wan, don't be so ungrateful. You're already marrying up to the Liang family, and now you're still being picky. Do you really think you're such a hot commodity? I advise you to just marry them obediently, otherwise you won't get anything good out of it."

"I'm going to tell you this, Second Aunt. If my cousin marries him, won't Second Aunt become Mr. Liang's relative?"

My second uncle's family is not a good group either. They were also responsible for the abandonment of their family.

The reason I come here now is simply because I see the benefits behind it.

"How could our Aying marry a fool?"

"Oh? Then I can do it?"

Jiang Wan glanced at her and said, "By the way, Second Aunt, it's your turn to cook this morning. My mother is sick, and my younger brother was hurt by your grandmother. You'd better give me an egg to eat."

"Bah! You little ungrateful bastard, you don't work all day and you want to eat eggs? No way!"

Old Zhang's voice came from behind Xie Ying.

"Grandma, you're the one who injured my little brother. Now his body needs nutrition. If he can't keep up, and my little brother has health problems, I don't mind going to the academy for a walk."

"You—you little bitch!"

Old Mrs. Zhang touched her chest, which was rising and falling, and her face turned red with anger.

"Besides, if this gets out, people will inevitably say that you beat your grandson and treated him harshly, not letting him live."

"Wanwan, I don't agree with what you said. Mother also means well. Sister-in-law and Hao are used to eating porridge and rice. Mother is worried that they can't handle it if they are suddenly fed with this."

Oh?

Can't stand it? Is she mocking her mother for not being worthy of good food?

"Aunt, please don't worry so much. This person is injured and needs to be taken good care of. Otherwise, when the autumn harvest comes, my mother may not be able to help. Are you planning to harvest it yourself?"

"What the hell is that shit spewing from your mouth, you little bitch!"

You want her, Ah Yue, to work? No way. Ah Yue is a wealthy person. She even gave her ten taels of silver yesterday!

"Second daughter-in-law, go to the kitchen and lay two eggs for the eldest daughter-in-law and Ah Hao."

Jiang Anfu came out at some point and spoke in a deep voice.

"Everyone should be busy with their work,"

Jiang Anfu's gaze fell on Jiang Wan with a complicated look.

"Brother, wait for me for a moment. I'll go up the mountain with you to collect firewood."

He brought the eggs in his hand into the house, and just as he walked out, he saw Jiang Li holding something and preparing to go out.

The first wife does all the heavy work in the family, while the second wife and Jiang Zeshan and Jiang Yue do no heavy work at all.

Her eldest brother is twelve years old this year, but he is thinner than Jiang Ming, the second son who is only ten years old.

"Sister, you should rest at home. I will go collect firewood."

Jiang Wan didn't give him a chance to speak again. She picked up the backpack and took a step forward.

Damn it!

What's going on with this little bitch?

How could his personality change so much?

"Aunt, are you...looking at Jiang Wan?"

A girl of about twelve or thirteen walked out of the house. She had a slim figure, fair skin, and watery eyes, and she looked a bit pitiful.

"It's Aying."

The corners of Jiang Yue's mouth curved slightly, and all the emotions in her eyes disappeared.

"The Liang family is such a good family, but Jiang Wan, that blind girl, didn't even know how to cherish them. She really wasted my aunt's kindness."
