Chapter 35 You are always so self-righteous

Chapter 35 You are always so self-righteous

In fact, even Zhou Sijin himself didn't know where the anger in his heart came from.

As soon as he received Han Chi's call, he brought his men here without stopping.

I first learned the whole story from Han Chi.

When he learned that Chen Wei had risked his life and gone to Zhang Chen alone to save people, he really wanted to kill him.

Fortunately, Chen Wei was fine.

Otherwise, he would really not be able to help but kill that scumbag Zhang Chen.

At this point, Zhou Sijin, after realizing what was happening, was also puzzled.

When does it begin?

Has Chen Wei become so important in his heart?

He would worry knowing he was in danger.

He would be angry if he found out that he ran to save others without caring about his own safety.

What makes me even more angry is that when he encountered something, why didn’t he tell me first?

It's a trivial matter that can be solved with just a flick of the finger, but you have to go through so much trouble to solve it and risk being torn apart and eaten by others.

After all the trouble, in the end, don’t you still have to clean up the mess yourself?

What if he happens to have something to do and can’t make it today?

Has Chen Wei ever thought about what the consequences would be?

If he offended Zhang Chen, could he walk out of the hotel safely?

The more Zhou Sijin thought about it, the angrier he became.

After violently throwing Chen Wei into the back seat of the car, Zhou Sijin spoke with a heavy voice:

"Sit here and reflect on yourself."

Chen Wei was a little dazed for a moment after being thrown down.

Although the leather cushion beneath him gently supported him, Zhou Sijin had just used too much force.

His brains were about to be thrown out by Zhou Sijin.

I vaguely heard Zhou Sijin saying something reflective.

After steadying himself, Chen Wei looked up at him:

"Reflect on what?"

Zhou Sijin was holding back his anger. Seeing that Chen Wei had no remorse at all, he couldn't help but want to teach him a lesson himself.

He stepped into the car and closed the door.

In the narrow space in the back seat of the car.

Zhou Sijin tied Chen Wei's hands behind his back and pressed him tightly under him.

The bend of her legs pressed hard against his thighs, holding him tightly from head to toe in her arms.

"Chen Wei, why don't I remember you doing something so stupid?"

Being suppressed by Zhou Sijin, who accused him of being stupid, Chen Wei lost his temper.

"What do you mean?" he asked back.

"Have you ever thought about the consequences of doing these rash things?"

"?" Chen Wei half closed his eyes.

"If I hadn't come, do you think you could have escaped from that bastard Zhang Chen today?"

?

Having said that, Chen Wei finally understood why Zhou Sijin was angry.

The doubts in his heart caused by Zhou Sijin's appearance were swept away. Chen Wei looked at Zhou Sijin and smiled with relief:

"Zhou Sijin, whether you come to save me or not is your business. As for whether I go to Zhang Chen to save him or not, that's my business."

He spoke word by word, looking up at Zhou Sijin above him:

"My business has nothing to do with you."

To be honest, they are just ordinary bed partners.

He doesn't care about Zhou Sijin's affairs, and Zhou Sijin's best not to try to judge his affairs.

"It has nothing to do with me?" Zhou Sijin was so angry that he laughed at his indifferent attitude.

He was worried about his safety with all his heart, but he kept saying things that had nothing to do with him.

Zhou Sijin suppressed the anger that was rising from nowhere in his heart, and his eyes were filled with unconcealable gloom.

"Chen Wei." He called his name in a cold tone.

With his lips tightened, he ordered, "Don't make me angry."

He left all the guests at the banquet and ran to rescue people.

At this critical moment of power seizure, it is not conducive to the consolidation of his position.

But he still came because he was worried that something might happen to him.

In Zhou Sijin's impression, Chen Wei has always been well-behaved and sensible.

Today was the first time that Chen Wei rejected his face so harshly.

But it doesn't matter.

As long as Chen Wei is willing to bow his head and admit his mistakes, he can pretend that nothing happened.

The original intention was to let Chen Wei realize his mistakes through today's incident.

I want Chen Wei not to take risks alone. If there is anything he can't handle, he can tell him and I will help him deal with it when he comes back.

But when the words were on the tip of his tongue, he lost the sense of proportion in his words because of his concern, which made the already precarious relationship between the two of them become even more strained.

Chen Wei's heart sank when he heard those careless words.

The subtle little joy that arose in my heart because of Zhou Sijin's sudden appearance disappeared completely before it even saw the light of day.

"So you think I delayed you?"

That's clearly not what I think.

But because I was angry, the words on my lips accidentally turned into a soul-piercing rhetorical question:

"Isn't it?"

My heart suddenly ached for no reason.

His expression was calm.

"Zhou Sijin." Chen Wei glanced at his face calmly, then turned away and said:

"You're always so self-righteous."

As he spoke, he stubbornly curled up his knees until they were high enough for his palms to easily touch.

Under Zhou Sijin's puzzled gaze, Chen Wei took out a black locator from his heel with an expressionless face.

The locator flashed red.

Zhou Sijin looked at the locator, then looked at him, not understanding what he meant.

“Bang, bang, bang—”

The sound of someone knocking on the car window interrupted the game between the two.

Zhou Sijin came back to his senses.

Only then did I realize that sirens had sounded outside at some point.

Looking at Chen Wei, who was calm beneath him, Zhou Sijin's mind suddenly buzzed and he quickly realized that something was wrong.

"Did you call the police?"

Chen Wei looked at him quietly, seeing the shock in his eyes.

Then he raised his hand and pushed him off his body while he was still stunned.

Open the car door and get out.

The bank staff outside the door finally breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Chen Wei was safe and sound.

"Mr. Chen." The bank staff's attitude was very respectful.

Chen Wei placed the black locator in his hand into a transparent envelope that had been prepared long ago and handed it to the other party.

"Thanks."

After taking the locator, the staff smiled politely:

"No, serving our customers is our responsibility."

Chen Wei smiled but said nothing.

He looked up at the two policemen walking towards him.

As the police stood beside him, Zhou Sijin got out of the car behind him.

The police questioned Chen Wei as usual:

"Did you ask the bank staff to call the police for you?"

Chen Wei nodded.

"You said you were threatened and blackmailed using private photos?"

"Yeah." Chen Wei continued to nod without changing his expression.

"Where are the photos?" the police asked.

Chen Wei handed Zhang Chen's cell phone over.

The police took it.

When I opened the album, there was nothing in it except the two-hour video that Chen Wei had just taken.

The police officer frowned disapprovingly.

"Is this the private photo you were talking about?"

Chen Wei shook his head.

“The actual video and photos are there.”

As he spoke, he raised his hand and pointed towards the Zijin International Hotel behind him.

Since Zhang Chen wanted to use the video to threaten the artist, there must be a hidden camera in the hotel room.

Chen Wei's goal was to let the police enter the hotel, check the cameras in the room one by one, and accidentally find something else from them.

Once the police have solid evidence, Zhang Chen will never be able to escape from prison in his lifetime.
