Junior High School

Junior High School

After her appearance changed back to normal, Lao Liu released his hand that was pinching the princess' neck and rubbed it hard on her clothes, then stepped back in disgust.

In his eyes, the princess's delicate skin and tender flesh looked like a fat pig. No wonder she couldn't do any work well, not even as good as a maid's finger.

After making a few casual threats, he got the truth from the princess. The sixth brother took the princess back to discuss with his brothers. He strongly rejected his brothers' suggestion to exchange the princess for money to buy a new maid. He took his brothers and the princess to the neighboring country, determined to get the maid back.

Although the maid on the other side returned to her original appearance, fortunately no one had ever seen the princess's true appearance because of the king's overprotection.

With the help of the apprentice meow fairy godmother, they arrived at the neighboring country to meet the prince safely.

In order to welcome the wedding envoy, the king of the neighboring country ordered a large ball to be held to select a princess for the prince.

The main reason was that the queen decided to give the princess of the defeated country a warning.

If the prince falls in love with the princess, then everything will be fine. If the prince falls in love with other noble ladies, no one can be sure what will happen next.

Unexpectedly, the prince fell in love with the maid disguised as the princess at first sight.

"Oh, why are you so strong, why are your skin so dark, why are your fingers so rough..."

The analysis, one after another, seemed to be commenting on the flaws of the "princess", and like a detective with piercing eyes, he saw through every flaw in the maid. The audience could not help but worry about the maid.

As a result, after listening to the maid's lame explanation learned from the fairy godmother, the prince instantly understood and showed his heartache, and strode to the king to ask to marry the "princess" as soon as possible.

...By the way, this is a fairy tale.

Still expecting some quick thinking and countermeasure, Gojumaki Saki chose to temporarily seal his brain to make way for the love-brained prince.

He subconsciously glanced at Hinata Aoi's profile. The expression of indifference he imagined was replaced by the girl's concentrated look in reality.

Is it possible that there is something brilliant or metaphoric that I didn't understand?

Unable to help but doubt himself, Gojuan turned his head and continued to concentrate on watching.

One wave of troubles follows another on the stage.

During the preparations for the wedding, the dwarves finally arrived with the real princess.

Thanks to the gossip girl, many people along the way heard the story of the princess and the maid swapping identities and spread it widely. As a result, as soon as the group entered the royal city, they were captured by the pro-war faction and sent to the palace.

"Who among you is the real princess?" The king sat on the high throne, looking at the people waiting to speak with a sense of majesty.

The princess and her maid knelt on the ground together. Unexpectedly, the maid was the first to speak boldly and calmly: "I am the real princess."

"No, it's me!" The princess looked at the maid in shock, and then fluttered twice towards the direction close to the king.

At this critical moment, she didn't care about the wish she had made and was anxious to prove her identity.

But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't say anything about the fairy godmother. She covered her throat and coughed as if she was sick.

Seeing that they were losing the upper hand, the ministers of the pro-war faction took over and fanned the flames, and the dwarves also spoke in unison, adding fuel to the fire.

The whole drama reached its real climax. The background music, combined with the actors’ increasingly intense tone, stirred up the audience’s emotions and kept them hanging high in the air.

Until the maid seemed to sense something, straightened her upper body to drown out the noisy voices, and said firmly to the king of the neighboring country:

"Your Majesty, I have my portrait with me, stamped with my father's personal seal. You can use it to verify my identity!"

The palace, which had been silent for a few seconds because of these words, suddenly became like boiling water, ready to burst into a boil.

But the main actors in the quarrel were the princess and the seven dwarfs.

The ministers who advocated war regained their ability to read people's expressions in that brief silence, watching their hearts and minds, waiting for orders from the king who was about to explode from the noise.

Seeing the king raise his left hand, the guards on both sides of the palace placed their swords across the necks of the noisy people, finally making the palace completely quiet.

After searching, no portrait was found in the princess's dowry, but a messenger happened to deliver a portrait of the princess that was said to have been left in the castle, along with a handwritten letter from the king.

After reading the letter at a glance, the king of the neighboring country ordered the messenger to open the princess's portrait in public.

The maid's appearance was clearly depicted on the smooth parchment, even the small black mole beside her mouth was carefully drawn on it.

"The truth is out!" The king frowned and held his forehead in frustration.

"Oh, what a farce! What is there to argue about? Prince, you think about how to punish them!" After saying that, he stood up from his seat, slammed his scepter on the ground, and turned away.

The gentle prince immediately helped the maid up and asked her opinion. Of course, contempt for the royal majesty was not a light punishment. The seven dwarfs were expelled from the kingdom and were never allowed to enter again. The "mad" woman who spread the "rumors" everywhere was sentenced to death.

In the last scene, the prince and the maid held a grand wedding.

The narration continued, telling the story of the peace between the two countries after the marriage, and also telling a strange story - the woman who pretended to be a princess turned into a dead raccoon cat after being executed. Since then, the story that raccoon cats can transform into human form to deceive people has spread from mouth to mouth.

"People with big mouths will also be regarded as the descendants of raccoon cats, and will be expelled by the people and live out their lives in loneliness... In the end, the prince and the 'princess' lived happily together."

The play ended, the lights in the auditorium were turned on, and the actors went on stage together to take their bows.

Coming back to my senses amidst the enthusiastic applause, I still felt a little unsatisfied. I felt like the screenwriter had something else to say, and I was eager to read the extra chapter to be fully satisfied.

He had hardly ever read fairy tales and had never seen such a simple, beautiful, yet absurd ending. It was also the first time he felt the charm of fairy tales.

"So the maid is a princess who fell into poverty. And that princess was a tanuki?"

Hinata Aoi, who was clapping, paused and looked at the words that seemed dim under the light, and also saw Gojuan's frankness and defenselessness.

Goujuan is really not afraid that she will think he is stupid.

Hinata Aoi did not really despise Gojumaki's intelligence, and she could even think of countless reasons to help Gojumaki make amends in the first place.

The screenwriter wrote a simple fairy tale with a very simple intention - to warn people not to talk too much, as they will pay the price for it sooner or later.

The characters' thinking logic in the play is superficial and stupid, stripped from reality, but the screenwriter hides the ultimate truth behind the maid portrait and the raccoon cat legend. It still requires some analysis to truly understand this fairy tale.

In other words, the screenwriter with a bad taste used the first half of the plot to induce the audience to temporarily put aside their IQ, and then set a trap in the second half to make the audience urgently use their brains to explore the truth... Of course, there are people like Goujuan who put their brains down and forget to pick them up again, and they really fell into the trap woven by the screenwriter.

"It was a plan planned in advance by the King and the Fairy Godmother to rescue the princess."

He only had time to explain this before Iwaizumi, almost unable to hold back Oikawa Tooru, who was rushing backstage, turned around and asked them if they were going.

Gojuan didn't get up in a hurry. He subconsciously thought that Hinata Aoi would refuse, but he was patted on the shoulder:

"Let's go backstage and take a look."

*

Oikawa Toru used his facial recognition to lead them into the backstage, darting around as nimbly as a loach, and finally caught the apprentice Meow Meow Fairy Godmother, who only had time to remove her tail.

"Why are you so anxious, Kunimi-chan~" Pinching the cat ears on the junior's head without any hesitation, Oikawa Toru laughed "hehe" like a perverted and creepy uncle.

Kunimi Ei escaped without a second thought, leaving the hairband in Oikawa Toru's hands. He turned into a puddle of water and stuck to the chair without caring about his image. He was too tired to even say a word of complaint.

Both the number of appearances and the number of lines are seriously exceeded. If he had known that being lazy would be punished so severely, he would have made up a perfect excuse in advance before being lazy.

Kindaichi, who was packing up his props, came over to say hello, feeling lucky that he was still useful backstage. He didn't have to go on stage to show off his non-existent acting skills, nor did he have to accept Furukawa's devilish training in order to perform without mistakes.

After just a few words, the topic couldn't help but drift back to Kunimitsu Ying.

Oikawa Toru felt very sorry that Iwaizumi couldn't pull up the collapsed junior to take a photo, so he had to take out his mobile phone and take a few photos from this angle as a souvenir.

"She's the evil apprentice meow-meow fairy godmother in the play, but she's completely different from the energy-saving state she's in on the court~"

"Where's Kageyama? He hasn't changed his clothes yet, right?"

It only took a moment for him to go from feeling emotional to feeling excited. Under Oikawa Toru's gaze, Kindaichi understood his thoughts in an instant and had to go and call Kageyama over for him.

Hinata Aoi was not interested in teasing her senior. She looked around as if she was looking for something, or as if she was looking around aimlessly.

She might have wanted to meet the screenwriter by chance, but she didn't think it was really necessary.

There are a thousand Hamlets in the hearts of a thousand people. If what the author wants to say is not important... what does she want to see from the story?

Takeo Goda had been waiting at the door of the auditorium for a while.

Having finally dealt with the troublesome group behind him, he touched his neatly shaved head and asked everyone cheerfully how the drama went.

Without listening to many words of the plot, the tough guy was persuaded by Toru Ishikawa to recommend several photos, and he fell in love with them instantly. He felt sorry that he had missed such a wonderful performance by his predecessors. Finally, he reluctantly said goodbye to his young friend, who had always served as a background board, and left.

It was late when he returned to class. Fortunately, Goujuan was not assigned to have his screaming teammates add horror to his haunted house trip. He walked out of the haunted house exit alone without any pain.

Hinata Aoi was leaning against the wall waiting for him, her gaze wandering to the ground, not knowing what she was thinking.

There was no one around, so Goujuan took the initiative to hook the girl's finger:

"Are you still thinking about the drama?"

Surprised at Goujuan's sharpness, Hinata Aoi subconsciously shook her head in denial. However, she was still worried that someone might have heard it, so she pulled Goujuan towards a more secluded place.

"That play is really wonderful."

“The music and lighting are also perfectly coordinated.”

"Some parts feel a bit forced, but if you think about it, it makes sense. It's a fairy tale after all, and true and false princesses should be a timeless theme, right?"

The boy, who had grown up following closely in Hinata Aoi's footsteps, had also inadvertently accumulated sufficient data.

If he had the ability to see through Hinata Aoi, would he stop?
