Chapter 10 Facing the Monsters

"Bang"

The metal door has a dent, and it's clear that one or two more impacts will break it.

Ye Liangchen's heart pounded, cold sweat beaded on his forehead, and his eyes were filled with terror. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. However, faced with the monstrous beast before him, his body was completely out of control.

His legs felt like they were nailed to the ground, unable to move an inch. His fingers trembled violently, and the aura of the demonic beast pressed down on him, making it difficult for him to even breathe.

Ye Liangchen told himself that he couldn't let fear consume him; he had to find a way to cope. He gritted his teeth and used all his strength to try to regain some control of his body. However, even in this life-or-death situation, his heart was still filled with endless panic.

He quickly picked up the iron rod and tried to steady his hand.

"Damn it, since I'm going to die anyway, I'll fight you to the death."

Ye Liangchen picked up the iron rod, ran a few steps, stumbled, and fell down.

The demon wolf, hearing the commotion inside, also glanced around.

Just as it was watching intently, one of its paws suddenly felt a sharp pain.

After Ye Liangchen fell, he quickly got up and struck him with a club.

"Awoooooooo".

The demon wolf retreated quickly, now preparing for the final breach.

Ye Liangchen was recalling the club coach's words at this moment.

"When a superhuman encounters a monster, they must use their superpowers, otherwise they will become the monster's food."

"Yes, we need to use our special abilities, we need to use our special abilities."

With rapid breathing, Ye Liangchen began to concentrate, and soon, a warm current flowed through his body.

After the warm current flowed through his body, he felt a surge of power.

"Bang"

The door frame has detached more than half and is about to fall off completely.

Ye Liangchen quickly channeled his supernatural power into his hands, ready to make his move.

"Bang"

The door was smashed open by the demon wolf, and dust rose up inside the room.

Ye Liangchen made his move, but he missed. The reason was very simple: the dust rose up, and he lost sight of his target.

When he regained his senses, he had just barely passed the demon wolf when he made his move. Ye Liangchen was now at the door, while the demon wolf had entered the room.

Ye Liangchen could vaguely see the road and took off running.

On the other hand, the demon wolf, having exerted too much force, crashed into the wall and lost its target for a moment.

Ye Liangchen arrived at the corridor and hurried upstairs; he was in a panic and didn't know where to go.

Inside the dilapidated house, a chase ensued, with no escape in sight.

Ye Liangchen quickly stopped in his tracks.

Looking at the empty rooftop, he realized he had made a big mistake: he should have run into the street, where the intricate layout would have bought him more time.

Instead, here now, only demon wolves await him.

Soon, the demon wolf slowly walked out of the door.

It looked at Ye Liangchen, then looked up at the sky and howled, letting out a wolf's unique howl.

This is its way of celebrating, but for Ye Liangchen, it is the clarion call of death.

The demon wolf looked at Ye Liangchen, then leaped up and pounced on him.

Seeing the demon wolf pounce on him in mid-air, Ye Liangchen rolled away and dodged.

He seemed to have anticipated the direction of the demon wolf's attack.

The wolf turned around the moment it landed and continued to pounce on Ye Liangchen.

This time, Ye Liangchen took a step forward and smashed down with the stick.

"Bang"

"Bang"

The iron rod struck down, and Ye Liangchen was sent flying by the demon wolf's palm, crashing into the fence.

"Cough cough cough"

Ye Liangchen quickly leaned against the fence, holding an iron bar to protect himself.

The gap in strength and experience cannot be bridged in a short time.

Ye Liangchen wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and stared intently at the demon wolf.

He knew he could no longer sit idly by and wait for his doom; he had to take the initiative.

He took a deep breath and threw the iron rod at the demon wolf with all his might.

The wolf nimbly dodged to the side, then pounced on Ye Liangchen.

Ye Liangchen hurriedly retreated, but his arm was still scratched by the demon wolf's sharp claws.

He endured the pain and kicked the wolf in the stomach.

The demon wolf roared angrily, opened its blood-red maw, and prepared to launch another attack.

Just then, Ye Liangchen suddenly felt his supernatural power surging forth.

His hands glowed as he gripped the wolf's neck tightly.

The wolf felt extremely uncomfortable after its neck was pressed against the ground.

Ye Liangchen held on tightly, refusing to let go.

There were less than twenty minutes left, and he had to hold on.

Soon, he found that his arm was starting to go numb and his strength was gradually decreasing.

He was in dire straits, and not knowing how long he could hold on, he could only use all his strength to resist.

"ah"

Ye Liangchen felt abdominal pain.

The wolf began to use its sharp claws to attack Ye Liangchen's abdomen.

Blood flowed out rapidly, while the demon wolf continued to increase its force.

This is a test of willpower and patience.

Time continued to pass, but for Ye Liangchen, everything in the world seemed to slow down.

The phantom images of the demon wolf began to overlap.

"call out"

A sharp arrow swiftly pierced through the demon wolf's body.

Ye Liangchen felt his hands lose strength as the demon wolf slammed down heavily.

A motorcycle was flying in the sky.

There are two people on it, one controlling the motorcycle and the other holding a bow and arrow.

Soon, the two people on the motorcycle got off.
