Chapter 101 Defeating Them One by One

The dark and gloomy castle, with its patrolling guards clad in menacing armor and with faces like demons, resembled a sinister hell.

The interior decoration, however, is completely different from the exterior.

The lights shimmered, the palace was resplendent with gold, and the person on the throne was dressed in a clean and tidy gown with meticulously styled black and gray hair.

The lord of the Dark Territory held a glass goblet in his hand, gently swirling it. Through the transparent glass, one could see the red wine inside, which shone with an alluring luster, like blood.

He took a small sip, looking relaxed and elegant, truly like a seasoned old aristocrat.

After finishing the red wine, he personally washed the wine glasses in a wooden basin brought by a servant and carefully placed them where he could easily reach and play with them.

That damned glass merchant! He spent a hundred times his weight in gold on such a small and exquisite goblet.

Despite his inward curses, he couldn't hide his fondness for the pure, bubble-free glass goblet in front of him.

Knock knock knock!

The sound of footsteps suddenly echoed in the empty hall.

The lord narrowed his eyes as he looked at the approaching man.

A burly man, about 2.56 meters tall and wearing heavy armor, with a ferocious smile on his face, threw a black-clad man who was bound hand and foot to the ground.

"Brother, there's a top-notch beauty among the goods we just caught. I've brought her here for you to admire!"

His deep voice carried an indescribable ferocity, and his eyes were like those of a vicious tiger. Only when facing that noble lord did he become respectful.

"oh!"

Having just drunk red wine, his cheeks were flushed. The lord slowly stepped down from his throne and put on a pair of white wool gloves for his long, slender hands.

A finger lifted the man in black's chin, revealing a stunning face.

At the age of twenty-four or twenty-five, she possesses the youthful vigor of a young girl, as well as a touch of mature and charming allure.

However, at that very moment, a mocking smile appeared on the man in black's face. The ropes binding him suddenly snapped, and a soft sword wrapped in his sleeve snapped straight out of shape under the influence of his fighting spirit, piercing towards the lord's throat.

A thrill of revenge flashed in his eyes. Ten years ago, his entire family had been kidnapped, trained, and sold by this damned slave trader.

At the time, he was fourteen or fifteen years old. Because of his good looks, he was dealt with and sold to a nobleman.

Because he was favored, he was able to come into contact with some things related to cultivation.

Over the past ten years, he has never forgotten the blood feud, secretly cultivating until now, possessing the strength of a high-ranking knight, and finally unable to suppress the flames of revenge in his heart.

The cold blade gleamed with a chilling light. Just an inch away, a hand wearing a wool glove gripped the man in black's wrist, preventing the sword from advancing any further.

The lord's gray-black hair was meticulously styled, and he wore a faint smile.

"Good strength, but a bit slow!"

He offered a fair assessment, then applied slight pressure with his palm, causing the soft sword to fall to the ground.

The man in black was subdued in the blink of an eye. His handsome face showed disbelief. They were both high-ranking knights, so how could there be such a big difference between them?

The burly man who had just walked in, the leader of the Dark Territory Hunting Group, finally realized what was happening, his face turning as black as the bottom of a pot: "You dare to use me!"

This man in black deliberately let him capture him so he could assassinate his boss. He's incredibly cunning.

The lord waved his hand, stopping the burly man from grabbing the man in black.

After a careful look, noticing her beautiful face and curvaceous figure, perhaps also due to the red wine, a hint of excitement flashed in the lord's eyes, hidden beneath his calm expression: "Put her in chains and take her to my room."

Upon hearing this, the burly man immediately understood what his elder brother was planning to do. A ferocious smile appeared on his face as he watched the men who entered the hall prepare to put chains on the woman.

"You dare!"

The man in black suddenly spoke, a disdainful look on his face: "Do you know whose man I am?"

oh!

The lord narrowed his eyes again, carefully observing the woman in black. His gaze fell on her shoulder, where a faint red mark was visible on her exposed, snow-white shoulder.

With a glance, the burly man stepped forward and pulled open the black shirt at the shoulder, revealing a blood-red mark underneath.

A clear plum blossom!

Upon seeing the plum blossom, the burly man's expression changed slightly, and a hint of surprise flashed in the lord's eyes as well.

Plum Blossom! An assassin organization active in the Chaotic Territory, they do things for money, but regardless of the target, they only assassinate once.

If you fail the first time, there won't be a second chance. But if you dare to kill the Plum Blossom assassin, the Plum Blossom organization will fight you to the death.

It must be admitted that any organization that dares to do this must have strong backing.

The killers from this organization are characterized by a blood-red plum blossom on their shoulder.

"Big brother?"

The burly man looked at his eldest brother, and hesitated for a moment: "Should we call my second brother over? He's got a lot of ideas!"

They were just a small-time slave trader; if the person in front of them was truly an assassin from Plum Blossom Sect, they really couldn't touch him.

However, to everyone's surprise, after the lord examined it carefully, a smile appeared on his lips. He gently ran his finger across the mark, and half of the blood-red plum blossom mark was wiped away.

The man in black's expression changed again. He was worried that the plum blossom mark he had used to intimidate his target and save his life would be discovered to be fake after the assassination attempt failed.

"Little guy, you're not taking this seriously!"

Looking at the woman, the lord's smile deepened. He waved his hand, signaling for her to be taken away.

His gaze fell on the burly man: "The buyer requested three hundred strong and capable men. How's the search going?"

The buyer was a long-time client of Dark Territory, and they had to fulfill the buyer's request as soon as possible.

"Brother, as you know, the population around here has already been exhausted. And he's asking for three hundred strong men, which is not easy to find. I've only found a little over two hundred and sixty so far!"

The burly man complained somewhat.

“Go further away, I’ll give you another day. The remaining gaps must be filled before the transaction.”

The motherboard owner frowned. This time, the old customer was in a hurry and offered double the price, demanding that the transaction be completed by the day after tomorrow.

He had to gather three hundred men before the other side sent them.

The burly man was sent away, and although he was somewhat annoyed, he knew that this matter could not be taken lightly. He led his hunting party and some trusted men to capture slaves in a more distant area.

"They're all a bunch of bastards. They want slaves, but they're unwilling to capture them themselves and ruin their reputation!"

Riding a horse and leading a group of men, the burly man spat.

They forgot that it was precisely because of this that these slave traders had a space to survive.

Meanwhile, Alan, Alice, and the other nine devised a plan to divide and annihilate them.

P.S.: I worked overtime, but finally managed to finish this update. Sorry!
