As dawn broke, Su Qing opened her eyes, her face beneath the black robe looking remarkably energetic.
The female thief seemed to have rested well, as her complexion was much rosier.
In fact, the potion's effects exceeded the female thief's expectations. Within a night, the wound on her lower abdomen had basically healed, and her fighting ability had been largely restored.

The man was acting suspiciously. When the door opened, he squeezed in.

After all, they saw him put the items into his pocket, so they had a share.
Although those punks didn't see what it was, they knew it was valuable, and who would believe they had lost it?
Having failed in his attempt to steal a chicken and ended up losing more than he gained, he felt extremely resentful and decided to try and extort another sum.
But this time, he came alone, intending to eat alone.
Su Qing closed the door and looked at the serious-looking guy, feeling somewhat incredulous.
He could guess the other party's purpose; they either guessed that he had taken the item back, or they were frustrated about losing it and wanted to extort more money from him.
Su Qing thought all of this was normal, but what he didn't expect was that this person came alone, and was acting suspiciously as if afraid of being discovered.
This shows how desperate one is, or perhaps greed has clouded one's judgment.
Something's wrong with you!
Sure enough, the man couldn't wait to speak as soon as he entered the room, his expression serious as he stared intently at Su Qing.
Su Qing expanded her field of vision and found no ambushes within a hundred meters, which immediately put her mind at ease.
The face beneath the black robe held a half-smile: "What's wrong with me?"
Su Qing's answer surprised the man. Compared to last night, this guy seemed to be giving him no face. He was immediately embarrassed and annoyed, and prepared to scare this ungrateful guy.
"Wearing a black robe and acting suspiciously, were you with the female thief who killed the second-in-command last night?"
"Yes, that woman is right behind you!"
Su Qing readily agreed.
"Just as I thought..."
The sound stopped abruptly. The man's eyes widened, and he instinctively opened his mouth to call for help, only to have his throat slit by a cold dagger from behind.
Blood gushed from the wound on his neck, and the body collapsed to the ground with a thud!
The female thief's face darkened. She could have easily coaxed this guy away, but the fat man insisted on revealing his identity.
What should we do with the body?
"What can we do? We haven't had breakfast yet, so what are we going to eat?"
Su Qing asked about breakfast, the transition in her tone natural and without any abruptness.
The female thief was stunned for a long time before she reacted, her wheat-colored skin now glowing black.
I asked, "What should be done with the body?"
"Just throw him on the bed. If anyone asks, just say he's my brother-in-law!"
Su Qing answered calmly and began rummaging through the basket for food.
Prepare the dough, seasonings, and cook the noodles in the pot!
Soon, a pot of fragrant noodles was ready.
Su Qing tasted it and said with some regret, "The taste is not bad, but it feels like something is missing without meat!"
He glanced at the corpse on the bed, then looked at the two trembling figures in the corner, grinned, revealing his pearly white teeth: "You two, do you want some too?"
"No, we're not hungry!"
The two hugged each other, shook their heads at the same time, and spoke in unison, looking quite like a married couple.
However, Su Qing felt quite wronged. The woman who had shared a bed with him last night was now hugging another man in front of him. This was a blatant insult to a man. Luckily, he wasn't a man.
He and the female thief each ate about a third of the pot of noodles, and he threw the rest to the couple.
