Chapter 146 Strange Fish

As night fell, a figure stealthily slipped out of the castle.

The moonlight shone down, illuminating the person's pretty face.

After more than ten days, Martha finally managed to escape when the two maids guarding her were slightly lax in their vigilance.

She arrived at the seaside, feeling uneasy, wondering if the goldfish was still there.

Standing on a rock by the shore, she called out softly.

The sea under the night sky has a mysterious quality; the rolling black surface is bathed in a silvery glow by the moonlight.

Between heaven and earth, only the girl's cries could be heard.

For a long, long time, Little Martha was somewhat disappointed; perhaps the goldfish had already left!

The girl was about to go back, and before she was discovered, she quickly ran back to her room.

"Beautiful girl, is it you calling me?"

The goldfish's head emerged from the sea surface, and it seemed much larger than when we first met.

"You're still here!"

Martha exclaimed in delight, "I'll make my third wish!"

"Okay, please tell me your wish!"

On the dark sea, the goldfish seemed to be laughing, mysterious and eerie.

"I hope my parents will stop interfering with me. I'm all grown up now, not a little kid anymore!"

Martha said those words.

The pendant on the goldfish's necklace emitted a dark green light.

"Your wish will be granted!"

The goldfish said, "You will make your wish come true!"

"What?"

Martha was confused and didn't understand the strange things the goldfish was saying.

But she soon realized that her body seemed to be out of her control, and she slowly walked towards the castle.

This feeling terrified her; the events were completely beyond her imagination.

"What is this for?"

Martha exclaimed in surprise.

"Of course, I'll grant your wish, kill your parents, and then no one will care about you anymore!"

The goldfish's soft voice rang in my ears.

It was as if the goldfish was floating right next to her head, but Martha couldn't control herself from turning her head away. She just stared in horror as she walked into the castle, went into the kitchen, took out a kitchen knife, and slowly walked towards her parents' room.

"Miss, what are you doing?"

The two maids, who had just been dozing, opened their eyes and saw Martha holding a dinner knife, and screamed in terror.

The noise woke Robert and his wife. They rushed out of their room and saw their daughter holding a knife, but what terrified them even more was the enormous, monstrous goldfish behind her.

...

Around that time, with the sky dotted with stars, Su Qing felt she should take action. Otherwise, if the strong woman moved all her assets away by tomorrow, all her efforts would have been in vain.

Waiting here for over ten days in vain, although he could swindle a little money from the little girl, how could Su Qing do something that would lose money? He had already set his sights on a target: the savings of the Sea Ghost City.

Anyway, he figured that the leader of the Sea Ghost City was probably not coming back, and keeping this money would only cause trouble. He might as well help the widow and her child get rid of the disaster, and then leave without a trace.

Be a Young Pioneer who does good deeds anonymously.

He first knocked out and tied up the two men watching him, gagged them, then loaded his gold coins onto the carriage. Under the cover of night, he went to the place where he had been observing the gold coins for a long time.

The Sea Ghost City had a considerable amount of savings, about 15,000 gold coins. Su Qing didn't look at the silver and copper coins; they were worthless and took up space. Besides, he needed to leave some living expenses for the widow and her child.

He is a dragon of principle!

Because the place where the gold coins were hidden was very well concealed, if Su Qing hadn't kept his eyes open 24/7, he probably wouldn't have noticed that such a large sum of money was hidden there.

To avoid attracting attention, there was almost no guarding; the only troublesome aspects were the hidden compartments, copper locks, and mechanisms.

However, it was all a piece of cake for Su Qing. She easily dealt with these things and loaded the gold coins onto the carriage.

Then, riding the clouds and mist, the carriage soared into the sky, and Su Qing began to flee.

Swish, swish, swish!

The wind outside was a bit strong. The little girl woke up groggily and felt something cool on her head. She reached down and took it off; it was a shiny gold coin.

The front says "1000 yuan", while the back features a striking dragon head.

Where did this come from? The little girl was confused, but soon she happily put the gold coins away, thinking that she could go to Uncle Chris's place to play games again tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Su Qingfei, high in the sky, lamented to herself, wondering when she would be able to get rid of her kind nature.

He actually gave away the money he had worked so hard to earn, penny by penny, to that little girl.

Such a loss-making business cannot continue.

Sighing, Su Qing pondered for a moment. The money he had earned from the little girl should be worth about the same as that gold coin, right?

What a rich girl! She can even save up a gold coin from her allowance.

Oh well, a small loss is a small loss. At least there's a consolation prize to soothe my wounded heart.

Reaching out and touching the wooden box in the carriage, one could almost feel the weight of the gold coins inside.

This time, he was genuinely doing business. Although he took the gold coins from Sea Ghost City, he left behind all of his goods, which could be considered an equal exchange.

These products contain plenty of good stuff like salt, icing sugar, and seasonings, so the other party isn't at a loss at all.

Su Qing pondered for a moment, then suddenly looked into the distance. Near the sea, a castle was ablaze with fire, and within the light was a giant, strange fish.
