The strange fish chuckled eerily, its voice chilling, like a demonic whisper from hell: "Don't you want freedom? Kill them, and you'll be free!"
Faced with his daughter's relentless slashing of the knife, Robert dodged left and right, retreating continuously.
He only realized he couldn't continue like this when he saw that his wife's attacks were ineffective against the strange fish.
The fact that his daughter could suddenly unleash such powerful strength must be a huge burden on her body, and if this continued for a long time, it could lead to her exhaustion and death.
With a slight grit of his teeth, he abandoned his sword and took the blow to his back from his daughter's knife, leaving him bleeding profusely and almost to the bone.
But taking advantage of this opportunity, Robert quickly counterattacked, knocking the knife out of his daughter's hand and firmly restraining Martha.
"Damn, that's some real power!"
Robert's face turned bright red as he held his daughter down tightly: "You damned bastard, stay away from my daughter!"
The middle-aged man let out an angry roar.
The strange fish, suspended in mid-air, let out an eerie laugh: "Hehehe!"
A giant dragon frowned, realizing that things were not so simple.
Su Qing watched this scene from the sky. His three-dimensional vision allowed him to see it more clearly than others. The strange fish was just an illusory projection, hiding its true form.
How could a projection possibly be attacked?
As for the source of the projected power, it should come from the girl. If the girl is killed, the strange fish should disappear.
However, since the family of three was playing there, Su Qing felt embarrassed to join them, as that would make him, the dragon, seem impolite and lacking in manners!
Su Qing slowly approached the seaside.
The sea at night looks completely different from the sea during the day.
Dressed in a black robe, he descended from the clouds and slowly approached the beach.
On the sea, a goldfish floated, about the size of a human head, with every scale shimmering gold. It wore a necklace with a pendant below its head, inlaid with dark green gemstones.
Su Qing reached out and grabbed the goldfish.
On the other side, the strange fish's eerie smile suddenly froze, its head turned towards the sea, and the next moment it roared angrily: "Cunning humans, how dare you deceive me?"
He felt cheated; the two bastards in front of him were holding him back, while the other bastard went and grabbed his real self.
The Roberts were completely bewildered, having no idea what nonsense the strange fish was spouting.
But the next moment, they saw the strange fish disappear, and beneath Robert, Martha's body stopped struggling, slowly closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep.
Su Qing held the goldfish by the tail with one hand and tried to fasten the necklace with the other, but for some reason, it was so tightly set that it was difficult to remove.
Should we break off the fish head?
Su Qing considered this method, but before she could try it, the goldfish opened its eyes and spoke in a human voice: "Please, please let me go! I'm just a harmless goldfish!"
Su Qing tilted her head, not surprised that a goldfish could talk, but focused on the fact that it said it was harmless.
Does that mean this goldfish can be cooked directly in the pot?
"Do you prefer it steamed or braised? Or how about grilled? You don't mind if I add extra spice, right?"
Su Qing asked the harmless goldfish what kind of food it liked.
The goldfish hadn't expected this person to speak to it like that, and quickly said, "Spare me, and I can grant you three wishes?"
To fulfill your wish?
Su Qing became interested: "You can grant any wish?"
The goldfish nodded quickly, secretly vowing to himself that if this person showed even the slightest greed, he could eliminate him.
"I want countless gold coins!"
Su Qing expressed her wish and then looked at the goldfish with expectant eyes.
The goldfish curled its lips slightly. Foolish humans, indeed the most greedy species.
"Alright, your wish has been granted. Look behind you!"
Accompanied by the sound of goldfish, Su Qing turned around and saw a golden mountain shining brightly.
Su Qing grabbed one of the gold pieces, squeezed it in her hand, glanced at the system, and then looked at the goldfish expressionlessly.
This goldfish is fooling itself with illusions! Has it gone mad?
The system's wealth value hasn't increased at all; this gold is clearly fake.
The expressionless face beneath the black robe, radiating a chilling aura, startled the goldfish. It sensed that the atmosphere had become somewhat off; it couldn't detect even the slightest hint of greed in this human.
Isn't wealth what this person is pursuing?
"May I make a second wish?"
Su Qing asked in a soft voice.
"Of course! Please tell me your second wish!"
That's the only answer the goldfish could give.
"What I need now is a pot, and if there are any seasonings, that would be best too!"
The goldfish was bewildered, not understanding why the other party would make such a request.
"Is this your second wish?"
"certainly!"
Su Qing nodded seriously.
Soon, a pot and seasonings appeared in front of him.
Su Qing skillfully set up a pot, lit a fire to boil water, prepared the seasonings, and prepared to put the goldfish into the pot.
"Wait a minute, what are you doing?"
The goldfish exclaimed in surprise, "I can grant your wish!"
Su Qing threw a punch without expression, unleashing tremendous power that shattered the golden mountain before him, causing the scene to reverse and change until only Su Qing and the goldfish remained.
Their eyes met; Su Qing's gaze was calm as still water, while Jin Yu's eyes were cold and unsettling.
"The illusion is well-constructed!"
Su Qing commented softly. If it weren't for the fact that his vision had been opened and the scenery within a hundred miles was presented in three dimensions in his mind, he would have noticed even the slightest imperfection and might have been deceived.
Ever since the goldfish opened its eyes, he has been trapped in the illusion created by the goldfish.
You're not human!
The goldfish also spoke, but its speech was rather impolite.
You're not human either!
Su Qing politely revealed the other party's identity.
"We're neither good people, and we have no grudges against each other. How about we part ways here?"
The goldfish spoke, showing great fear of the dragon. Since the dragon could see through its illusions, it would have little chance of dealing with the dragon. Therefore, the goldfish decided to compromise.
Su Qing shook her head in disagreement: "The necklace around your neck belongs to my future wife, and I need to take it back."
It was only then that the goldfish realized that the other party had their eyes on its necklace, but how could it possibly give it to him? It was the source of all its power.
However, he still didn't want to make an enemy of the dragon: "This necklace is mine, are you trying to steal it?"
