Chapter 281 The Tomb

Is this the place?

Two dragons and two people are circling above a mountain range.

The mountains stretch out in a continuous range, and the lush trees form a primeval forest that inspires awe.

They traveled for a day and a night to get here.

At this moment, all eyes were on the middle-aged woman.

The middle-aged woman carefully observed her surroundings, and after a while, nodded.

"This is it!"

As she spoke, she slowly descended and stopped on a mountain peak shaped like a lily.

"This is it!"

She led the way, all the way to the foot of the mountain, where they found an ancient tree that was as thick as a dozen people could hug.

Behind the ancient tree was a mountain wall covered with gray-white vines.

This is a plant called bone vine, which is very tough.

It would take some effort for a regular Glory Knight to destroy them, but for the two people and two dragons in front of them, it was a piece of cake.

Ariel thrust her spear forward, parting the bone vines to reveal a stone door.

"That's where I got in!"

After the middle-aged woman finished speaking, she glanced at the two dragons and the person: "I'm not staying here."

Su Qing nodded: "Take your time going back, and be careful on the road!"

After checking on his subordinates, Su Qing turned his attention to the stone gate.

How do I open this thing?

Ariel didn't speak; she seemed somewhat silent at this moment, and her slightly trembling fingers indicated that she was very unsettled.

With a slight turn of the spear, a cold glint shot out, cutting Ariel's finger, and a drop of blood bounced onto the stone door.

The stone gate opened with a loud bang.

Su Qing stepped forward, peered into the dark cave entrance, and turned to Ariel: "Ladies first, beautiful princess, please go first."

"hehe!"

Ariel let out a cold laugh and walked straight inside with the silver dragon.

Su Qing followed closely behind, standing on either side of Ariel, with the silver dragon flanking her.

The narrow corridor did not feel crowded.

Ariel walked at the front, her heart racing as she thought of what the middle-aged woman had told her, but her pace slowed down, a faint sense of trepidation creeping in.

Seeing her stop and peer ahead, Su Qing noticed no danger and saw that the end of the corridor was not far ahead. He hesitated for a moment, then, filled with remorse, kicked out without hesitation.

Ariel never expected that the dragon would do something like that to her. Caught off guard, she was kicked away.

Moreover, because Su Qing believed in this woman's strength, he didn't hold back much and delivered a full-force kick.

Ariel half-flew, half-ran out of the corridor, staggered to her feet, and her pert buttocks were now swollen, the burning sensation leaving her bewildered and embarrassed.

He turned around angrily, his narrow phoenix eyes blazing with fury.

Su Qing glanced at the silver dragon, raised her fist, and pounded it repeatedly: "You beast! How could you lay a hand on such a beautiful princess? That's outrageous..."

Su Qing's aggressive demeanor was, in fact, a cover for her own guilty conscience.

He didn't even know what he was thinking. He just saw her blocking his way and her round butt, and he couldn't help but kick her.

Right now, it just feels pretty... great!

Ariel stared blankly at him, took a deep breath, gritted her teeth, turned around, looked ahead, and suddenly shuddered.

A corpse sat cross-legged on the ground, still in its original state, covered in dust. In front of it were lines of carved words.

The armor he was wearing was tattered, and after the dust was blown away, large patches of dried blood were visible on his exposed body.

It's unimaginable how brutal the battles he went through were.

Ariel looked at that face and felt both unfamiliar and strangely familiar.

In my distant memory, I seem to have seen this face more than once. It is a smiling face, full of doting and kindness, teasing her when she was still in her swaddling clothes.

"Father!"

Ariel's body trembled slightly, and her eyes involuntarily reddened.

Seeing this, Su Qing couldn't help but sigh. She stepped forward, patted Ariel on the shoulder, and then looked at the corpse: "Dad, don't worry, I'll take good care of it..."

Before Su Qing could finish speaking, she clutched her stomach, gasped, and looked at the expressionless woman with a pained expression.

Damn, that almost hit a vital spot!

"Shut up!"

Ariel uttered those two words coldly, then turned to look at her father's body, feeling inexplicably relieved.

Su Qing rubbed her lower abdomen and walked to the side, feeling dejected.

The silver dragon, with a bruised and swollen face, glared at him, and Su Qing glared back without hesitation.

"What are you looking at? Want to get beaten up again?"

The silver dragon shrank its neck, looking a little aggrieved.

When we first met, I called her "Miss," but now I can be really ruthless when I'm being mean.

Is this the legendary two-faced, hypocritical beast?

Su Qing didn't care at all. Back then, you were useful because I couldn't beat you. What use are you now?

Su Qing turned her gaze elsewhere and glanced at the note left on the ground.

It turns out he was the last king!

I glanced at it briefly and then shifted my attention elsewhere.

There are three identical passages ahead, with no signs and no idea where they lead.

There should be one place leading to the treasure site, one leading to the tomb, and the location of the other is unknown.
